Hello sir excellent video! I replaced my charging port and now my phone is rebooting every 1 to 2 minutes if I do heavy work on it. And slight overheating too. What went wrong?
Great instructional video. Note there are 3 Philips screws holding in the charger port that are slightly different than all the other Philips screws in the phone. The idea to use a numbered tape chart to hold the screws is brilliant.
Thank you! I even got to replace my battery for this situation. The numbers to keep track of the screws on that double-sided adessive is the kind of video I was looking for cause to be honest with you could not think of that. Wow. However at the last screw it was rough but I got it eventually. Keep going what you are doing and thank you once again I repaired my phone like an expert because of you. Thank you once again.
Very helpful video however, I wasn't able to solve the issue with my iPhone X only being able to charge when it's turned off. I replaced the battery as well as charging port but it didn't help with the problem. Probably something is wrong in the motherboard.
What is the black sticker behind the charging port called? Can it be replaced? I accidentally ripped a small part of it while trying to fix it. I don’t think the phone charging port will work now. Help
hi so i did it exactly step by step and it kept restarting every 3 min so i soft reset, checked for software update, took the SIM card in and out, backed it up, and hard reset. once i hard reset phone doesn’t want to stay on through the process crashes midway. my question is any idea how to fix that? what could be going on?
the flix charging cable is not OEM or it's for black iPhone and you put it in white iPhone this is what causing the problem it has nothing to do with screws
Hey I followed your guide to replacing the charging port; however, now the phone keeps restarting itself every 2-3 minutes. Do you have any solutions or recommendations? I also tried changing the battery to see if it was the issue

@@EricWitrigs I have the same problem with a customers phone, this is the 2nd iPhone x charging port I do and I came up on that problem, what could it be. No one online seems to have an answer
Hi guys, I was wondering if anyone can answer my question. The problem is I took it in the Apple store and they won’t replace the charger port because it’s connected to the mainframe or something. They said they can’t repair it so I have to get a new phone. However I took it to a non office local apple retailer store and they said they can replace the charger port. Is Apple this part of apple marketing scheme, trying you to purchase a new phone?

It's the long screw problem man
Kashish Chitkara the long screw that’s on the actual charging port? if so what about it? is it loose? touching something it shouldn’t?

yes its basically common knowledge now they will almost always try to over quote or somthing to try and persuade you to buy a new phone instead
So entire phone gets taken apart just to changer the port. Disappointing...
❤❤❤
👌
F that! We need to dissemble the whole phone to replace the piece.
Is data lost during this ???
No i just replaced mine and No data lost
