    Currently commercial and public use of A.I. makes some money, but it is NOT a windfall like many in the tech world have exclaimed. Over time, that may be different with the introduction of highly functional robots. Right now, huge corporations are plowing billions into the hardware that builds these large models in A.I. - and the costs are greater than rewards - so far.
    Like Elon Musk, all these major players are dependent on Government money to keep their companies looking good to investors who have a time frame of about 18 months. Palantir is riding high in the stock market, so in order to keep the enthusiasm peaking for those investing in tech, working with military contractors and pushing for larger budgets is the way to keep in front of the pack.
    Biden's Infrastructure Bills and high tech initiatives designed to stay ahead of China - has the government pumping money into our tech companies. There seems to be a tech component involved in most of the bills that have made it through Congress and signed into law. China is doing its best to leapfrog into parity with the United States - and they have vastly more engineers and computer scientists than in the United States. The 3 year gap in tech advances that the U.S. has is quickly evaporating.
    I would suggest that adding the tech expertise of European and South Asian countries mashed up correctly with American and Canadian companies would give us some parity as a wave of Chinese innovation overwhelms the speed issue that both the United States and Europe have.
    Elon Musk and others who can move the fastest might make it to the other shore of profitability = but there will be a wake of older companies who cannot withstand this level of A.I. innovation.

      The United States Military Industrial Complex(MIC), is the most sophisticated, government coordinated, "Mafia style" money laundering operation in the history of mankind, representing the greatest, illegal, mass transfer of wealth, from the average american/civilian tax payer, to the government/corporate elites, in the history of the United States. As far as precise, sophisticated targeting technology goes, you just have to look at the ongoing brutal genocide taking place in Gaza and now Lebanon(estimates currently sit at 41,000 to 150,000 innocent babies, children, women and men killed, as well as 75% of the entire buildings/hospitals/apartments/homes/schools and churches destroyed in Gaza), to see/understand, that Palantir, along with the rest of the MIC and the leadership in the United States government, is a complete failure, if not an outright fraud. That goes for Mr Karp too, who is one of the most dangerous men, as well as one of the greatest threats to peace, freedom, human rights and prosperity on this planet.

    • @USMC-CAR
      @USMC-CAR 2 місяці тому

      Progressives love AI because it fits in their goals of control. Imagine an AI builds a societal model that controls the way people think and perceive the world and identifies aberrations (free thinkers) and targets the aberrations for removal (becoming a non-person) by de-banking or cancelling the person socially. It is the way China works and we saw the American version of this during the sickness. AI without strict governance is a threat to freedom and humanity. Remember that IBM developed Big Data for the N4215 to help identify and round up the Juice.
