I've been trying to open this thing for ages and you just showed me how to do it in minutes 😂😂
My pleasure! 😀
thank you so much for your clear concise video. My Marley gets to survive another 6 years!
No problem 😉
I took the wood parts off and painted them black thanks for the video saved me alot of time
No worries
Thanks for your video! My son put marbles in it trough the hole on the back, because of you I was able to get them out 😂
At least it wasn’t marbles up his nose!
Thank you very much mate! I was about the brake the device! Thanks to you it is survived!!
No worries 😉
@@LifeofPauley 😀
Excelente me sirvió de mucho saludos 🙋🙂😀
No problem 🫡
Thanks for this! A mouse crawled in the bass port in the back and made a nest inside mine 😒 It's full of seeds they brought into it. I had a feeling that back panel came off, but I didn't want to mar it all up trying to figure it out
Wow, a mouse house! Glad you were able evict it!
@@LifeofPauley Thankfully, it was just some old dried up pizza crust they stored in there.. no poops or nest inside 😂
😂
Hi. Thanks very much for your video, I’ve opened mine and saw what was wrong. I actually need to repair the DC in because it broke when the speaker fell. Do you know if it’s possible to find anywhere this part? It says 3N-4117 on it but I can’t find it anywhere. Do you know where I could find spare parts? Because I think I have to change the whole thing (5 in long on the back where you insert USB, DC and AUX IN)
Hi Max, thanks for your message and I'm glad you found the video informative. Unfortunately I can't find anywhere that carries official spare parts for Marley products. That being said I'm sure you'd be able to find parts that would be compatible at your local electronics centre. My advise is to take the unit to a electronics centre and let them take a peak and I'm almost 100% sure they'll be able to sort you out with what you need.
Thanks brotha
No worries
Did you ever manage to get the battery pack out of the enclosure? I dismantled the unit fully but it’s really fiddly to get the battery pack out, there’s not enough room to wiggle it out of its space in the enclosure! Let me know if you have any tips for this?
Hi Tom, I’ve still not yet tackled the battery issue as I just have it plugged in all the time! As soon as I get around to it I’ll ensure I let everyone know and will post the video.
Marley em-ja013 sound box's internal battery was repaired due to a mistake, the ic on the main board was burnt. I can't identify the power and regulator ic, so I hope for a picture showing all the smd ic clearly. Please help me.
Sorry, I’m not really sure what your asking for!
You have the battery specifications please
It looks like number of AA batteries packed together to make one on battery.
My marley speak turns on and everything but doesnt have any sound, do you know the causes
Hiya, nope not heard of that before, may just be a lose wire inside or maybe one of the board components is fried.
Hi, Pauley. I was wanting to find out how to replace the battery in the Marley, unfortunately your vidio didn't show me how to get it out? it appears to be stuck??
Hiya, it’s been a while since I did this video, but from what I remember the battery is located in a little compartment and is held in with a little piece is glue. But it’s easily teased out with a little bit of wiggling!
How can I purchase a new get together mini battery??
Marley don’t seem to sell spares so you’ll probably need to take this one out and then go to a electronics store and see if they have something that’ll work.
Does anyone know how to fix the Marley Roots Fock bLue tooth speaker. I can’t find it anywhere
Unfortunately I’m not familiar with that speaker, sorry
I need help with my Marley speaker… it’s blinking red but it won’t on or off. It charges but it won’t on.. can you help me out?
I’m no expert, but I would assume that you either have a wire disconnected or one of the components on the board has died.
@@LifeofPauley okay thank you mate I will check that
Got given one, I've opened it and it didn't have a battery in it.
That’s a quick diagnosis! No battery, no power.
My Marley Get Together charges and I can connect using Bluetooth, but no sound. I tried resetting it and no luck. This video was looking helpful to open it, but I still can't remove the face, because 2 of the screws have cement or paste around them - ugh! The cemented screws are the second ones from the left - 1 on the top and 1 on the bottom. Model EM-JA006-MI, where MI apparently means they were assembled in Michigan...
Does anyone here know how I can remove these 2 screws or correct the issue of no sound?? I miss using this speaker :(
Sorry I don’t have a answer for you! You would think they would make them to be opened as I’m sure they need to open them at some point. Maybe try heating your screw driver and see if that can penetrate the resin and allow you to get to the screw???
anyone know where we can find the battery packs for these. I was looking on amazon with no luck.
I’m not sure you can get spare parts, but if you go to an electronic parts store I’m sure they can hook you up.
@@LifeofPauley There aint any of those near me. at least not since radioshack went belly up.
To me the battery just looks like a standard battery back made of AA batteries. I’m sure someone somewhere must sell them online.
@@LifeofPauley ive looked, my dad has one these marleys, the battery stopped charging on it, so i figured id look on how to get into it, which thanks for the video. Anyways does seem like they sell them anywere. I am gonna pull it apart here soon , its probably 3-18650s, which i actually have a bunch of. I'd rather stick an actual pack in made for it, or at least find out what the voltage on the pack is, so i dont actually blow this thing up, lol. Anyways if you ever get yours running its a great speaker, btw. We bring it out to our fires all the time now, used to lug out the big stereo and blast the whole neighborhood but now more of the properties around us got bought up so we have new neighbors we dont want to piss off, yet, and this little guy still cranks out the tunes almost as good as the big stereo. Were talking stereo reicever and high end big bose speakers. Anyways. yeah ill let you know if i find anymore out on it, when i rip his apart.
also thanks for the replies back, really appreciate that.
Great job describing in detail how to disassemble the Marley. Not only has the battery died, the charger took a shit and we'll.....grrrrr.
Yeah the batteries seem pretty short lived in these speakers. I’ve been looking around to see if I can find a replacement for mine. If/when I do I’ll totally do a how to videos on that. Pretty sure you can pick up a compatible charger on amazon relatively cheaply.
@@LifeofPauley did you manage to find a replacement battery?
Hi Nathan, no I’ve not found one yet, I did a search on google and the only one that came up was in the USA. When I get some spare time I’ll probably just take the battery out and go into a electronics shop and match it up.
@@LifeofPauley Hi Pauley.
Do you know how to take the battery out? I need to change the battery, but it doesn't just slide out of it's compartment, it's like something is holding it in place. I thought perhaps if I could get the battery out I could see what type it is so I could search for one. Thanks
Hiya, from what I remember when I took it apart the battery is in its own compartment which has a screw holdi the lid on. Inside is a little battery pack, possible a couple of rechargeable AA batteries in plastic wrapping. If I ever get around to taking it apart I’ll be sure to video it and post it.
Cuantos Watt RMS de potencia tiene? Cuantos OHM?
Thank you for the message but I’m sorry I don’t understand as it’s not in English. Sorry
Where can I order parts?
Hi Jerry, I’ve not found anywhere you can buy ‘official’ spare parts for House of Marley products, but I’m sure you can get what you need from your local electronics store.
Grab a like thanks a lot
No worries
