Its so great that after a week, you still went out of the shelter. You then walked into the most radioactive parts of the city, meaning you were exposed to more than the average limit a normal human gets per year, in probably in less than a few hours. The dosage you would have gotten, is probably higher than 1500 rads, meaning you have exceeded the fatal limit of radiation. I have studied nukes because I love them. In the crater you would have seen trinitite, a rock make from a nukes fireball vaporizing every thing inside it. sorry I'm just a nerd for nukes!

Trinitite is only produced under specific circumstances, It's basically just glass. Not every nuclear detonation produces it. Sorry to shit on your 'nerding'.
They should make it after a nuke blast the grass around it will turn brownish and the sky will turn yellow and cloudy the lights will turn of and the crater looks better
Welp, one other bad news is that by just being in there where the nuke was detonated and its surroundings is probably enough to develop cancer a few years after, or depending on where did he go it could result in his death if a few days
Water got in the crater because of the intense amount of evaporation from the heat the nuke gave off, and one more thing. I didn’t see u go into any shelter so I’m guessing u made like ol’ Indiana, and locked yourself in a fridge and waited out the blast eating everything in there.

Well, I hope they resealed that shelter after you left, 'cause you ain't be coming back, especially not when strolling right into ground zero. But you'd still have found many burnt, charred and skeletised remains early on.

Pretty good, but could have been more context. I spent 16 minutes skiping the walking/driving parts where nothing happens. But you could have extended the story if you used that shooting more. Pretty good job tho.
