One of the quickest wiper blade replacements I've ever done. Thank you Honda engineers for a simple design, and RDMotoring to show how easy it is.

My 2020 Fit's rear blade came apart the other day & I fretted over whether or not I could fix it...last night watched your video, went to Walmart & got the Rain-X replacement for $11.54. This morning, fixed it in under a minute! Thank you so much for your help! I guess some repairs still can be done fast, cheap & easy by oneself, instead of paying big bucks at a dealership or chain auto repair shop! 🌄

Good vid...not hard to figure out but I wanted to be sure I was doing it right since I had to use a bit of force and didn't want to snap anything.
Leaving this tip for anyone who needs it:
I had universal wiper replacements which were perfect for the front wipers but the arm was incompatible with the rear.
Don't fear. If you take off the rear arm, you can gently pinch and pull the rubber out. It has two thin metal slats to reinforce it. Take those out and set aside.
Then pull the rubber out of the new wiper arm the same way. Mine didn't have the metal slats in the new one but the old ones fit in the grooves just fine and helped me guide the new rubber into the old wiper arm without it bunching up or flexing. Then you can just slide the fresh rubber on the old arm and pop it back on. It saved me an extra trip and an exchange. Of course if the wiper arm itself is damaged then it won't work but most of the time they last forever. Hope this helps someone.

Me and my FIT both thank you. Simple yet complicated as none of the directions explain as well as you have in this video. Used to be in NY, Transplanted to CA for warmer weather and work years ago. Oh and yes followed your recommendation at the end to Subscribe. 2016 FIT with less than 70K miles on it. Thinking of new tires. Ya got any videos with tire recommendations. I'm thinking of sticking with the Firestone type that came with the car... Have done me well so far.

I appreciate the kind words! And I haven't looked too much into tires yet... although new ones will be needed soon

Would you recommend just switching the rubber?
I found an OEM Honda rubber for about 15 bucks.

It depends on the type of blade. You can on some of the metal framed ones but not the beam design. If you're looking to reduce waste then absolutely buy just the rubber. If that's not a concern then I don't think it's worth the trouble

This is actually preferable to replacing the entire blade. The inserts art less than $7.00 You still want to remove the blade to change the inserts out.

Reviewed this at least 6 times. Too fast. Will go to my mechanic.

You can choose a lower playback speed in the video settings. That helped me.
