That "go cart" is- or rather was a Quantum powered wheelchair base and the back of a seat. 4 casters and central 2 wheels were removed along with the seat.
There is something so satisfying when you find all that scrap metal that was going to end up in the landfill, making some money from it, and it being recycled to be reused.
My friend Brad. He save all his copper from dumpster diving. After 20 years of collecting. When #1 copper price rose to $4.50Ibs. he decided to sell to scrap yard. 40ft container full of copper. It ended up being. Just over 8500Ibs. He used the money to buy a new truck. Fully paid. I wish I had the commitment to save copper for that long. As of rite now 02/10/23. copper prices were I live is, $2.95Ibs.
Mike the fishing poles with the tips broke off you can replace the tip. And the other reasons you punch and kick the bumpers is easy to figure out you do that to see if there is a animal in them and to see how full it is by the sound it makes
Mike Mike Mike! Thanks for taking us along! I appreciate you! Ninja Chopping and kicking the dumpsters to let em know whose boss! Stay weird! Stay safe stay great and keep up the good work!!!
That Thermos Fire and Ice cooler grill combo is sweet! definitely a keeper or good for a couple hundred bucks or so in clean working condition! Would love to have one of those again.
This is one of those everyone's happy story! Mike's happy because he gets all the scrap and the place is happy because now their dumpster is somewhat empty and they can put more in without paying to dump it out!
I have seen such a thing. The ol' Thermos Fire and Ice. I do love that thing. It's an all in one picnic. It looks like you got all the accessories with it too. The white container is a grease catch that goes on one end and the black things in the cooler are shelves that slide into each side. And the regulator goes on the 1# propane tanks.
I like that thermos cooler it looks like a all in one tail gate party thing very cool find. GOD HAS TRULY BLESSED HIM ON THIS ONE. GOD IS GOOD GOD IS GREAT GOD BLESS YOU AND ALL WHO READ THIS AMEN.
Hi Mike the poles with the blue handles you need to keep same for your hook and it got broken and see if you can clean the BBQ and cooler to see if it works
Wow! What a start! That was an amazing haul!! When I first started watching, I assumed you “assaulted” dumpsters to scare any critters that were inside! I learned pretty quick it was just YOU
Mike what a lovely happy birthday video, loved all your happy comments easy peasy lon squeezie, your in prompt to cod piece, dumpster roses and all your lovely finds. And I'lll be happy to take your rain, just send it across the gulf.
a couple of things for the community, 1. banging on the dumpsters makes sure that you don't hop into one that has animals in it. 2. the empty metal buckets make great backyard/patio herb gardens and it makes no difference if they are banged up or not. add a few drain holes in the bottoms, throw in 3 to 5 inches of gravel then top off with dirt and start your plants/seeds. water them in good and keep the soil moist
Lucky to be in such a scavenge-rich area, that barbeque was a hoot, seems like someone would have thought of that sooner, first one I've seen, thumbs up ,for your channel!
I'm an experienced long-time dumpster diver, and what I hated most was when I found a dumpster that was a regular gold mine for me and some other dumpster diver would always leave a big mess to the point where the store would padlock their dumpster, ruining it for everybody else. I'm happy to see you don't do that. 😊
I think your work ethic is amazing Im 80 yrs old and get tired just watchung you I used to work hard myself and just retired 6 months ago I didnt want to but my body said I had to you are an inspiration my friend God bless the world we live in needs more like you
Mike, Your channel is so fun to watch! The items you find astound me…the stuff people toss and glad you recycle them. Question? Could you let us know what you do with the “puters”? How do you break them down to recycle? Thanks and keep up the good work and excellent commentary.
I just started dumpster diving at 38. Used to do it when I was young but only to find candy. Quick question, what's in the computers that's worth money?
Mike, I appreciate your videos and also appreciate you not dropping the F bomb, and all the cussing like some do.Thank you for being respectful and keep it up.
Awesome Mike!! I can’t wait to get healed up from my work Injury and get back out there scrapping! Been 2 months and I’m going crazzzyyy!! But I watch your vids and it’s like I’m along for the adventure, lol.

Just a crazy guy in a dumpster talking to himself, love it!

Украл зарплату у сортировочного завода и его работников, при этом заработал сам.
I'm out of commission for a while. Had lung cancer surgery a couple weeks ago. At least I can enjoy watching you
Finding all those tasty morsels of scraps right away, now that's the way to start off an evening of scraping.
I always wonder what people think when they come out and throw more stuff out and notice everything from yesterday is gone. Go Mike!!

Figured it was to scare off any trash pandas.
Me, too. I would certainly be trying to scare away the bugs!
Rainy days and Mondays always gets me down too

It’s honestly crazy how you built not only a healthy hobby but a eco conscious one as well! Thanks for sharing the fun with us! Love your work man ✌️
I'm not so sure you can call jumping into dumpsters healthy but it is a hobby nevertheless and it seems like you enjoys it
If I saw him I would call a police. I don't want anyone rooting through my garbage.

He often mentions that “electronics guy” comes for it.
Mikey, FYI, that Ridge cutter is for cutting sheet metal used in gutter replacement.
I thought you assaulted the dumpster like knocking to let the raccoons know you are coming in. Keep up the great videos. Cheers from Wisconsin
Me too! I thought there'd be rats or roaches down there that Mike was testing for. So disappointed there isn't some secret Texas code or something.
I just started dumpster diving at 38. Used to do it when I was young but only to find candy. Quick question, what's in the computers that's worth money?
It's crazy how people / businesses leave their hard drives in computers and then simply abandonee them. Great video Mike!
The stuff I have found on hard drives all kinds of important stuff.
I take a gander to see what's on them and then I wipe them clean and use them in my own systems for more storage space.
I wish my employees had the grit you have to succeed. I really admire you as you remind me of myself many decades ago!
this was cool to watch, havent seen your channel in a good while! :)
Welcome back!
Be careful at hospital dumpsters. We threw radioactive material in the dumpsters. They would redo the x-ray rooms.
2 minutes posted and already 90 likes 😁😁😁 I think people like your videos. I know I do. 💚💚💚
