Lucifer is one of the names or aspects of Venus, the Light bearer. In astrology, Venus stands for what you Love, what you like, elegance, art, beauty, affection, ... Sometimes Venus is an evening star, and sometimes it is the morning star. It may be possible that the "V" in this sigil stands for Venus...
The V does stand for duality and Venus is portraid as hot,, temptation and desire as well.

It's also a broken, inverted pentagram, with Lucifers spirit merging/uniting with the devotee's. Notice also how the fire and the earth element also are united by a line inbetween them (the feets of the inverted pentagram). The big Trinity of the sigil: earth, fire, spirit.

I saw this symbol in an old newspaper or magazine article having to do with light the eyes and the pineal gland... I had no idea at the time it was the sigil of Lucifer... Interesting indeed .

I am both a Unitarian Universalist and a Thiestic Satanist. I use the Sigil of Lucifer as my home chalice for when I attend UU online. I see Satan and Lucifer as 2 different entities who are not at all in conflict with each other.
I grew up Mormon so I see Lucifer in the way he was represented in the Temple Endowments. Adam, Lord if this world/bringer of death asks Lucifer about his apron. Lucifer responds saying " this is the apron of my priesthoods". The fall was a good thing and a fall up or "down but forward" as the current LDS site says.
What is the ultimate goal, Godhood. By doing works for the dead by proxy, you grow and evolve. Look up the some of the sigils Joseph Smith used and you will get the picture 😊
I always saw this sigil representung a sacrifice for wisdom.
The calice represents blood and sweat, the V represents a book and the X represents light.
As you can see in the sigil, the light start from the calice and end in the direction of the book, which is intended to represent that only through sacrifice you can get your freedom. ( Such as lucifer falling from heaven ).

As an individual who finds no true sense in the sense of others, being perceptive realities, monolithic endeavors, and a sense of never thinking for themselves and questioning authority. The sigil of light in which I carry on a ring reminds me that. Being a poet, shaman, musician, cook, preacher, teacher, lover, and protector. It's nice to be reminded and protected so no other humans, or otherwise, can truly steer ne wrongly. I love you all. But I trust none of you. And it's only because you don't trust yourselves.
This just unlocked a key for me. It's not mentioned in the video. But i can see it. 3,6, and 9.
The sigil itself is also a chalice which is common in grail mystery because it is said that in Lucifer's fall the emerald from his crown chipped and fell with him. It was used to fashion the grail. There is much argument between whether or not this symbol is christic or luciferian in nature - Manly P Hall would tell you that it is both. The emerald or green stone from Lucifer's crown is both the holy grail and the emerald tablet of Thoth. The v in the sigil is also more than balancing forces and as a later represents it's ciphered oppositional in the Hebrew alphabet. If Aleph is A then V is Tau and represents the end of their alphabet and also a completion - also significant.

I don't get where people started thinking Lucifer and Satan were the same being. It seems to be a fairly new idea, and probably just more of the lies we've been told. I'm going to go check out the video you did on Lucifer next, but I've got to just say, there absolutely is NO story in the Bible about some being called Lucifer,nor about him being an angel that fell. I've surprised several preachers with this fact. It's amazing how many people actually think it's in there. The WORD, not name,lucifer is only in there once (KJV), but it's a description of how a mighty king had fell, that once he was a light bringer,a morning star(Venus), but he'd ruined everything and fell. That's the closest thing in there to the story we'd been told. In fact the same words were used to describe Jesus. And there's no story about Satan ever being an angel who fell, much less linking him with a Lucifer. Weird. I've heard some theories and ideas, but nothing concrete on the origins,or why people started getting this mixed up. It's not been very long at all, that this idea came about. I'm going to go see what you know, and if you know something about it that I don't. Thanks 👍

I’ve looked deep into the four elements and understood somethings about their fundamental nature but I don’t know how they change from plasma to gas, to liquid, to earth (fire, air, water, earth). There are ideas about matter being created by light.

I am ok with that, but i think a lot of folks might not be. Stared right at this on my last mushroom trip. The sigil is only the third eye. It's way bigger than just that. I will try to draw what I saw. Definitely the beast. Don't forget the torch on the crown of his head.
I myself use the inverted pentagram being a satanist...However it's not the name used that is different it is the two ways the religions are celebrating the fallen one..,. Like Pagan and Wicca, Catholic and born again Christian, it's the same god or gods but worshipping them in different ways.

The V is for Venus. Lucifer refers to the planet Venus, the Morning Star. This is also the name Jesus refers to himself by in Revelations. Look into the pattern of the Venus Rose and you will find the pentagram which bears all forms, revered by many cultures all around the world, including ancient Egypt.

While I don’t believe it’s dangerous, I do believe individualism can and has become a big issue because it lessens community. And I’m not saying that people shouldn’t be proud of their individuality, but, as anything in the extreme, it is problematic when everyone is seeking individuality & does not feel part of a whole. Maybe the increase in individualist ideals is another reason why this sigil is becoming more widely used.

Regardless the "symbolism" Lucifer was actually a minor deity of the Romans, known to the Greeks as Phosphorus, displaced later by Venus/Aphrodite, and likewise the plant/star got the same name change. Along with meaning Light Bearer, he also had the name Eosphorus, Light of the East, which is why it came to be applied loosely as "Dawn Bringer" as h East or Eos represents the Rising Sun of the Morning and associated mostly with the Spring when the planet is seen just before sunrise. It is also has the association naturally with "Fall" when the same planet/star appears just before Sunset during that time of the year hence the actual associated "duality" rather than a factor of male/female genders as he himself was always represented as a purely male deity. So regardless all the "occult" and philosophic rhetoric, like the rest of such things, its all fiction and mind games.

Also most those Icons and so called saint statues are simply renamed recycled ones of other deities and its not just the character Lucifer down in those catacombs. Furthermore the name only occurs once as a noun in the various Bibles which has a lot of reworking done to it over the many centuries and still being reworked to fit the latest "narratives." otherwise the word lucifer pronounced loo-chee-fir is even used of the Christ as the Morning Star right in the scriptures, and called things like the prince of lights and king of peace. Not prince of peace as many get wrong. The point is, dont get sucked in by these vids and their shoddy scholarship, open a book some time and read it all, not just what some Sunday teacher tells you. Then break out a concordance and etymology text.

Satan/shatan means adversary. It is not a proper name.
The interpretation of that is that it alludes to the planet Venus, which is the brightest star in the sky, but becomes lower as the sun rises.
And the name Lucifer means 'bright morning star'
So Jesus may have been trying to make an analogy that it was his time to shine.
There is also the analogy of the king of Tyre with Satan, whose pride corrupted him.
Same pattern with Nebuchadnezzar...
The serpent or red dragon is a force or influence contrary to what should unite and edify creation, and the Creator God's life-giving Spirit.
It says a 3rd of the stars were taken in the dragon's wake by his tale, known as the serpent/devil.
Which may also allude to astronomical/astrological events.

Also, as far as I know the word lucifer (lightbringer) is falsely used as a name for satan in "paradise lost", which is the opposite of what it actually means.
And I think we can agree, that enlightenment is what's bringing us closer to God.

No. God is the ultimate creator within and beyond creation. Satan is one of God's creations. Satan exists, like everything else, due to the constant suppport of God. Without God, everything would go dark instantly and cease to exist. So in the Christian view, Satan is not equal to God as an opposing force but instead a created being within the ONENESS of God.

Eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil seems closely related to the concept of individualism. If the opposite of that is living in ignorant bliss, then, was it intended for us to be kept unaware, although we had the power to choose? At the beginning of mankind, I'm not sure that there was any kind of advantage to be garnered. I'm only curious in that I don't think we really know what would have occurred had they not 'eaten the apple.' What does that kind of a life look like? What would be the purpose of that kind of existence. - I think it was kind of a dick move giving us the choices without making us aware of the consequences. - And why would god be angry at that? There's a whole lot not adding up.
Something that I’ve learned along the way as a researcher, is that nothing makes sense in religion. you are just supposed to follow and never ask questions.

Idk. I got the information that the sigil is corrupt through gnosis. Later I stumbled upon a book where the author mention exactly that. I never use this symbol.
