    ありがとうございます!This was a good video to watch to keep me inspired in my learning! I want to learn to write kanji and I write it as a way to lock the grammar and vocab into my memory. Going to take the N4 in November!
    (Also you said “pronunciate”, I think you meant “enunciate” or “pronounce”? I checked online before commenting this and the Oxford English Dictionary had heard of this word but only once, in 1652! Found that quite interesting.

    You are much much better than I am, but the syntax is definitely the hardest part. Even remembering Kanji is easier. I think the problem with the syntax is that it's more of a dynamic thing, you have to understand the various aspects pretty well to put them together properly and then there are always exceptions!

  • @LanguageWithLiquid
    @LanguageWithLiquid 6 місяців тому

    At the risk of sounding presumptive, especially for vocab/grammar, at your level I'd probably recommend just trying to pick up a manga/novel that seems interesting to you and reading through it, looking up unknown words and maybe adding them to something like anki. The effectiveness of textbooks really tapers off at a point, but constantly seeing grammar/vocab in natural contexts really primes your brain to work its magic and burn it into your subconscious without you realizing. (See Stephen Krashen's Input Hypothesis) 頑張って

    Hello Kira! So I’m in the very beginning stages of learning Japanese. Im sure you working my way through hiragana and very basic sentences. I’m using Japanese From Zero and I am also using Duolingo. I live in Ohio so there aren’t many resources or classes around me. I feel almost like I’m unintentionally craming.
    What resources did you use when you started learning? What would you have done differently?

    • @GingerGaiden
      @GingerGaiden  6 місяців тому +1

      Best of luck! My starting resource was a kana book called Kana De Manga. I don't think I'd do too much differently other than to not set my expectations too high and try to reach high goals too fast. I had to realize this was a marathon and not a sprint

    do not concentrate too much on kanji. Grammar i more important and you'll learn kanji while you learn grammar
