I can't help but to watch all the series on your fx2 and fluval as well. You are very helpful for people that are new to external filters. It makes things easier. Thanks again. SHALOM.
Thank u thank u you just solved my filter mystery lol . I went to clean the filter and found this small rubber band broke and couldn’t work out whereabouts it was supposed to go and you’ve just mentioned it now on this clip . It goes on the pipe holder on the side of the tank . I can’t work out why it’s there either . Mine had obviously snapped fell off and was sort of hanging in the water .For ages today I was perplexed. Wondering how it got there . As I never noticed it in a year having the filter. So thanks for clearing up the mystery . Your a star 👍
I love your overview of the filter and I am requesting that when you do the full review that you can speak about power consumption please, I am still using an HOB to keep my power usage as minimal as possible.
It's the exact same height as the fx4, its 2 inches narrower. It would have been really nice if they would have been able to make it no taller than 12 inches. And also instead of throttling at the valves I'd like the motor to be variable speed. It's literally 2022 and there should be no reason I can't schedule my pump from anywhere in the world. Also I would love Fluvals lighting division to be paired up with Phillips Hue.
Hey Everyone, lets take a look at the new Fluval FX2! What do you think about it? I'll be doing a full review and setup guide later on in another video!
Great unboxing! Would you mind stating what the dimension of the smallest width of the filter is? On the official website they said 34cm but I think that includes the motor unit? Like you said the reason this filter exists is to fit in cabinets and I'm wondering if it'll fit in mine.
You’re right. It’s not nearly the amount you need. Though, it’s nice they give you something rather than nothing. I still use it. I just add more to it.
@@EverydayAquarist have you ever reviewed the fluval gravel cleaner it looks amazing but is it two good to be true also do you think a fx4 to powerful for a 110l
@@EpicConspiracy How so? Genuinely interested to know how considering you can set-up/customise any of the 06/07 range to filter mechanical-biological-chemical extremely effectively. In terms of moving water, this is actually more comparable to the 207. It does, however, cost twice as much.

Yeah I'll have a look at the current prices

Keeping the cost down is the reason

Migth have to get one of these for my marine tank that hose will be binned and replaced is there enough from in them trays for bio cubes
I'll have to measure but there's probably 1.5 inches height roughly

Answered in my next video mate
When does it hit market? Can’t find it
Why is this more expensive then the FX4? I have a 90 gallon tank..in your opinion…which one should I go with? FX 2 or FX 4.
the black pad is not a pre filter its the last filtration pad. the pre filter is the white foam around the sides
Fluval are always comically mean with the amount of bio media they provide 🤣

Does it have a adjustable flow control?
It has a manual one
Unfortunately not available in Australia 🇦🇺 yet 😢

Neither in the United States
@@AlejandroTorres-sb4vq it's the same height as the fx4. I don't see any reason to choose this over the fx4
Would be brilliant but no drain port at bottom
I never use mine on the fx4 but yeah it is missing
@@EverydayAquarist I want it for the gravel cleaner
Fair one
@@EverydayAquarist have you ever reviewed the fluval gravel cleaner it looks amazing but is it two good to be true also do you think a fx4 to powerful for a 110l
I had one but cut it up to make some parts for my Fluval Shaker. I would think and fx4 is too powerful unluss you want mega flow
Why would someone purchase this over and above the 06/07 range? In my opinion, the best cost vs quality filter range around.
Personally I think this makes the 407 redundant now
The design of this destroys 407.

@@andreashessler838 it fits where the 407 doesn’t while be easier to maintenance and a Better design.
