- Understanding Corneal Refraction and How Laser Works, both are discussed in terms of corneal meridians, corneal astigmatism, principle of laser correction and laser ablation profiles. In addition, calculations of ablation depth and post-op K reading are explained.
Very clear. Nobody had explain me before the correction of astigmatism the way you explain it in this video. I finally understand it.
Thank you a lot for this video and all the serie about topography and keratoconus.
Allah bless you.
Very concise and packed with knowledge. Thanks Prof
very lucid explaination...eagerly waiting for many more videos to come ...
Very nice and clear explaining , thank you!
Thank you doctor
Perfect. Thank you very much !!!!!
Very well explained Sir!!
Very nicely explained video!
Thanks for your effort
doctors are bledi bitches who want more money so destroying patients Eyes and life . Shame on Bledi morons.
great videos
Dear doctor ,
In the example in K calculation (min 23.40)
+1 -3 x 90 --> we have 3 diopters of astigmatism here ..
But pre op sim k2- k1 = 1 D
And post op k1 becomes steeper than k2,
I cant understand the conflict ? Wouldnt this flip the axis ?
And in the video of concepts in refractive surgery part 2 at min (12:10) you have discussed the K reading calculation in mixed astigmatism in an another method that yields a different result .. so i am a bit confused as to how the 2 methods work.
I wish you can clarify the difference,
Thank you in advance
Please how we choose the optical zone diameter depend on what 6 6.5 7 Thank you
Beautiful mind
dr sinjab , your videos are incredible ... and thank you so much for your great efforts.
i had a question here : if we have a patient with the following refraction : +3/-1 x 180 , how we can calculate his k readings??
thanks in advance .
Apply -1 on K max then apply +3 on the resultant K
Please how can this help us , can not we directly look for the topography
