- In this video, I do a Rig Rundown on my ECX Barrage Doomsday 1/12 scale 4x4 RC Crawler. This is a fun little rig if you're willing to make a couple easy upgrades!
My changes include some cosmetic body modifications, replacing the front bumper with a modified rear bumper, new wheels & tires, and relocated electronics. Those few changes make this a pretty good rig!
One important upgrade that I completely forgot to mention in the video is the steering servo. I replaced the very weak stock servo with a JX PDI-6221MG servo. I've used this servo before in my 10428B. For the money, it's hard to beat.

Nice job with the mods. Looks much better IMO. It looks like Horizon has discontinued this model but I think a local shop still has a couple at $99. I’d like to grab one for a cool winter project. Thanks for the vid!
