5 things to do when you visit Cape Town? (SAVE & SHARE!) Cape Town is officially one of my favorite cities in the world. I know the airline was sick & tired of me calling to extend my flight 🫠 Nonetheless, here are 5 must-do’s on your visit!
1. Have a beach day! Just 10-15 minutes from the city center, they’re easily accessible. Camps Bay & Clifton are the most known. A local friend took me to Clifton 4(shown here) and it was my favorite!
2. Hike Lion’s head! While Table Mountain is the ultimate feat, Lion’s head will be the best hike for the average traveler/hiker! The views are incredible! I went at sunset and couldn’t believe my eyes. Bring plenty of water!(Scroll back to see my post on this hike)
3. Make your way to the markets! There’s Old Biscuit Mill(weekends), Oranjezicht(Wednesdays & Weekends), and more! Scroll back to see my market post!
4. Explore the vibrant Bo-Kaap(Cape Malay) neighborhood! The homes are rich in color, but even richer in history and culture! Don’t leave without trying the samosas!
5. Visit Boulder’s Beach to be amongst Wild African penguins! Need I say more?
