I like this. One of the best things is how easy it is to have access to the fan for cleaning and replacing the thermal paste. Wish more did that. Unfortunately they didn't go all the way through with it so that you can also easily access the other side. Perhaps one day some manufacturer will. Still, as I said, this looks like a fine machine I would love to be able to test the poop out of it. Thanks for the review man.
With all those USB 3 ports, are they 5gbps shared between them all, or 5gbps each? Looking to upgrade my Raspberry Pi4B NAS, would be nice to use a bunch of USB3 enclosures, have one at the moment.
I really liked the no-fan MINIX you reviewed before, and this one seems OK for an N100, but... for about the same money I'd get one that wasn't such a pain to work in. I do like the fact that the Windows seems standard.
Thank you for the excellent video! How do you get into the BIOS on this PC? I bought one and can't seem to get into the BIOS using the typical function keys presses staring from when the splash screen first comes on. Thanks again.
If you've tried mashing the delete and Function keys with no success, an easy way to do it in Windows is to click the start bar > power > hold shift on the keyboard and click restart > Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI firmware settings
Hello and thanks for the videos. It would be interesting to just compare fanless mini PCs. After your video, I am very interested in the MeLE Quieter 4C. Do you think he should evaluate others or am I covering for him? HI
@@TrusteftTechindeed, they even have a newer S version that is fanless. Makes me wonder why MSI don't send it out for review to channels such as this one, and that has put me off so far.
@@Robtechlet us know if they won't send out a bare bones unit, etc, as I'll assume at that point they think it'll review poorly. i'd personally be ok to pay a little more for such a unit just to know the bios is not potentially compromised.
In that price range you can maybe find a used Beelink Ser6 w/ the 6800H or 7735HS with the 680m igpu for around $350. If you go cheaper the igpu is a lot worse in the AMD 5000 series stuff.
Would not be my top choice for a N100; some features seem better, some not so much. Having to dismantle it completely to get to memory seems trivial, but still, I'd rather have easier access. Would rather have i225 or i226 instead of realteks. But then mini-PC's are all about tradeoffs anyways..
Why i225 or i226 instead of realtek? I though the i225v3 has had a ton of problems esp related to sleep and resume. Not sure about i226. What are the realtek issues?
I got this one and didn't regret it.

Hey. It's me again, still doing a great job.

The Minix Z100-0dB is the best fanless mini I've tested: ua-cam.com/video/_hp-pJ9Olrg/v-deo.html
In my case, I would rather have a usb-c (PD+Display) port at the front because it's more convenient for AR glasses.
Any plans to review a non chinese n100 such as the MSI Cubi N ADL?
I didn't know they had one. Terrible marketing.
@@TrusteftTech Same, and I've been keeping an eye out for N100 units.

I'll try reaching out to MSI again.

Is there a mini pc priced around 200 a 300 capable of running games and editing?
Depends on the games and editing you want.

@@neilquinn thank you so much for you insight. That's what I needed.
are there any n100 pcs that can be powered by usb-c?
A bunch. Mentioned in each review. Some off the top of my head MeLe Overclock4C, GEEKOM Mini Air 12 & Chuwi Larkbox X.
Seems very very similar to the 0db model but has the extra ethernet jack.
And USB-C PD + Display
