Fine review, Jay. We don’t see this type of product in the States, very often. I like the idea and as I grow older I think it would be nice to continue walking without having to carry the clubs or use a hand powered cart. Alas, “buggies” as you call them in the UK are used by most golfers. I still like to walk, especially if I am playing nine holes. Keep up the good work.
+David Malesky Hi David. Its difficult sometimes when filming to think about bags etc. By far the most convenient way to play and film is with a buggy, although I very much miss the walk and the exercise that carrying gives. Now with my annual holidays done and a renovated teaching room there will be more content coming soon 👍
They are a special piece of kit. Some say a luxury, yet when you've got one you wonder what you did before you didn't have it 😊 Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍
Jay - How do you think I'll manage without a Motocaddy bag with the inserts to mount it correctly? I'm afraid my ping bag won't sit correctly and my heart will be broken trying to get the trim settings right so the thing will travel in a straight line.
Most bags now come with the square slot that fits in many generic trolleys... The bottom and top straps are elasticated and even when putting another manufacturers bag onto a S1 etc the straps alone are strong enough to near on lift the whole thing up without the locater pins.... I'd always suggest to pop into your local pro shop thay stocks Motocaddy but all experiences I have had shows that it would definitely work 👍
+NEIL CLARKE imagine it you could buy it in colours sensitive to what mood your in at the time. Way too many red bags on the golf course in thinking ☺️
Taking the wheels off then I believe it would easily fit although I guess that depends on how much other stuff is in there to start with 😊 Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍
Hi Wayne. If you take a quick look within the instruction manual it tells you how to 'trim' the steering to straight. It's been a while since mine has needed adjusting so can't quite remember off the top of my head, but it is in the manual 👍
Hi, it comes with a slave wheel that is inserted at the back behind the battery. My course isn't very hilly plus for the assembly / disassemble section it made it easier not to have it in. It's not compulsory to use but important if like yourself you play at a hilly course. Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍
Some guys at my club use electric carts like this (I know at least one with this exact cart). Our course is super hilly and they get along just fine. Only issue is running these across a side hill they can tip over, you want them to take straight (or at least relatively straight) lines up and down hills though that's probably pretty obvious.
About £800 for the trolley itself then another £160 for the day, but at present motocaddy are doing a free bag offer to make the package you see in the video a bit more affordable 👍
Hi Joe, yes you can override the remote function at any time by operating the centre button between the handles. Although the more you get used to it you end up operating it solely on the remote. It takes a little time to get proficient but when you do it's ultimate lazy golfing ☺️ Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍
Actually it holds brilliantly, initially I was concerned over seeing it run down into the nearby bushes 😊, but the electronic brake does a, wonderful job and keeping it where its parked 👍
I've never let the battery go down that low. But bare in mind that these lithium batteries nowadays are amazing. Even the rated 18 hole batteries last way longer. You'd be hard pressed to find a golf course that they will unfortunately die after most of the golf has been played. Thanks for the comment and for watching 👍

Jay! Can you send it to the next tee in Mizuno blue!? Course looks awesome by the way.

great review! Thanks!
You're welcome Sam, thanks for the comment and for watching 👍
What are the fold up dimensions. Will it fit in the truck of a Honda Civic?
Taking the wheels off then I believe it would easily fit although I guess that depends on how much other stuff is in there to start with 😊

Hi How do you adjust the steering, mine is going way left cheers

What about slopes🤔 My course is hilly as hell..

AskGolfNut Ok. Good to know. Thx for quick answer.

Billy Million Thanks! That makes perfect sense👍
Is it alot of money?
About £800 for the trolley itself then another £160 for the day, but at present motocaddy are doing a free bag offer to make the package you see in the video a bit more affordable 👍
Can you use the trolley without the remote for the times you get those awkward slopes or gates?
Hi Joe, yes you can override the remote function at any time by operating the centre button between the handles. Although the more you get used to it you end up operating it solely on the remote. It takes a little time to get proficient but when you do it's ultimate lazy golfing ☺️

AskGolfNut thanks for the response. An insightful video. I felt the use of the trolley without the remote was the only question you didn't cover.
+Joe Simmons all questions welcome. 👍
How well do you find it holds on slops or do you have to always park across the slopes?
Actually it holds brilliantly, initially I was concerned over seeing it run down into the nearby bushes 😊, but the electronic brake does a, wonderful job and keeping it where its parked 👍
Can it be pushed if battery die

But could it but pushed manually anyways
I've never tried Ash so next time it's in use I'll give it a push and see how hard it is and get back to you 👍
AskGolfNut thanks just received mine now charging the battery
