10 years later and it feels like Onewheel is just getting started. This community and the sport has blossomed into an unstoppable force. Congratulations to y'all on 10 years of making the future rad. Now just imagine what the next 10 years will bring. 💡

I get compliments and conversation about my XR 100% of the time I'm out on it. It is the best feeling I've ever felt on any board. Love my Onewheel more than any of my other possessions. Thank you for changing the world and my life by inventing this wonderful machine. Congratulations on 10 years!
Seriously, the Onewheel has been so good for me physically and mentally I am in love but it’s like having a really nice day but remembering your step dad is waiting for you at home and he’s gonna beat you for buying his board. The attitude in our local Onewheel community (which is sizable) is “f*******k I have to deal with FM” and someone steps in and suggests a reputable PEV shop and they sigh with relief. FM consumer policies sound like they’re written by a guy who you KNOW you shouldn’t have lent your money too but says he’s good for it. I feel like they should just sell their accessories and even Onewheels out of reputable shops since after 10 years they’re still afraid to take a return. I think they’re afraid to lose money by being good to their customers but now most of them want nothing to do with them after they get the board.
Riding onewheels changed my life forever. I expected a fun toy but instead I got a tool for mental well being and community involvement. I never expected to find something that would connect me with so many new people. Forever grateful for the existence of Onewheel, only wish I had started sooner. But I know this is just the beginning of what’s to come. 🤙
No different than the BMX movement in the 1980 with better exercise. Now people's idea of exercise is leaning forward or backward, or pushing the throttle.
Congratulations on 10 years Onewheel! I am so proud of being a Onewheel Rider here in Iowa! I dont know where I would be in life mentally right now if it wasnt for Onewheel! There is no better feeling in the world than riding on my GT. Thank you Kyle and team for making the world a better place!
Great stuff guys.... At 56 years old, i got the Pint, then upgraded to the XR and now the GT... I'm now 4 years into riding.. I love every ride and have done over 7,000 km's in total and never fails to put a smile on my dial!.... Thank you every much! :)
It really is something else. I got a PintX two years ago and I ride whenever possible. People on the street are always amazed by it too. Congrats on the 10 years, looking forward to what you bring next :)
Forever grateful to FM for changing my life more than I could have possibly imagined. Words can’t express the happiness these boards have brought me in the past few years. Not to mention the countless friendships built and new places traveled. Thank you❤️
I originally purchased mine as a tool for the race track. 5 boards later its one of my favorite things in the world. I use mine every day with my son. Thank you guys!!
Just bought my first one wheel two months ago with the idea of getting out of my music studio and have some relaxing time outside in the world. It changed my life. I am a fan! Happy anniversary
I remember when i got mine when i was thirteen, it was a pint and i remember begging my mom everyday to get a Onewheel and i finally ended up getting one. it was actually a life changer, it would help my mom out so much, she didn't have to take me to so much places. the drive from school was 30mins each day and my mom ended up always being late to work now there's no worry. Thank you One wheel ❤
What a wonderful story from the very beginning to now. I love Onewheel, I own a Onewheel GT and it my favorite thing I own and ride it all the time😊 Onewheel has changed my life forever , it’s the best thing I could ever ask for. I’m building up my Onewheel skills. And When I’m 14 I’m going to sign up for the race for the rail! Only 3 more months til I’m 14
It truly can open your eyes to seeing differently. It’s certainly fun but there are so many layers beyond that. For me, it slows the pace of life and allows me to really feel the moment. That is special and so worthwhile.
This is definitely one of the best creations ever made almost every day I just go outside and ride the Onewheel it’s that simple and fun no remote needed and just overall a completely new and fun ride experience thanks for making it happen Kyle 🔥👍
Love the origin content and stories. It all started with a dream, some curiosity, and a great deal of ingenuity. That’s exactly what will continue to propel this sport into the future. Congratulations on 10 years! 🤙🏼⚡️🎉
Onewheel was the only thing that'd fix my craving for snowboarding and would get me thru the summer to the next snowboarding season. With release of GTs and its amazing performance on trails I am in love with summer time again and no longer thinking of ski resort ! Huge thanks to you guys !!!
Thank you OneWheel!!! My first board was the GT, then won a GTS from Craft&Ride but the main reason I bought it was for something to clear my head after a long day… and that did not disappoint. The product has been a life saver for my mental health, and the community is amazing!!! Looking forward for what’s ahead for OneWheel, and definitely the future it rad 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Such a great product. Just a shame FM has made so many customers hate them. I didn’t really understand why people hated them so much until I couldn’t do something as simple as swapping a battery between two of the exact same board models and versions. That’s when I understood why.
I got my first taste of Onewheels while filming on location in Atlanta and I immediately bought a Pint X. It was a godsend that helped me get through the pandemic and would give me momentary freedom when we were all shut in. Truly, there is nothing like getting out there and just floating. Congratulations on a decade and thank you! 🤙
Can’t thank Onewheel enough for all the great times that my XRs have brought me and my family. My wife and I ride together all the time on trails at Winman and other places. My dad even got into riding mountain bikes now just so he can follow us around on our boards. One day we will get him on a Onewheel 😅 My XR has evolved just like your brand has and even though now the only original FM part on it is the hyper core since it’s running VESC software, I still thank you guys for designing the XR form factor which I still consider to be the best yet.
Fantastic movie to celebrate 10 years of the most fantastic invention in personal mobility and so much more. Loved every second of it. So glad to be a part of it and of one of the best communities around, which despite its meanwhile enormous size, somehow always feels like family. As a Belgian passionate about snowboarding, it's always been such a frustration to have to drive 9 hours to the alps to ride a bit. Then wakeboarding offered some level of relief. And then Onewheel changed my life. Riding every day from the front door. Thank you for changing the world, Onewheel! Cheers to many more years of floating.
OW GT was my first and 2 years later I still LOVE this thing. Bought a Pint X to live in the frunk of my car for charging sessions. Give me a GTS with more range and I’ll add a third one to the fleet!
Life changing for sure. There are very few things I would consider to have a permanent place in my existence and this is one of them. I will ALWAYS own a Onewheel. Thanks for making it and I look forward to the future versions.
What a dope video. I love my XR so much. Ride it almost every day and it’s been so good for my mental health. Thanks Kyle and team for creating such an awesome vehicle.
This video makes me a little sad. It reminds me why I jumped in with both feet, but the last couple years have pushed me away. I’m optimistic others will pick up torch and keep us all floating for years to come.
What a great video showing the initial start and progression all the way to present day. First time I saw someone riding a OW down the street I was blown away and just knew I needed to have my own one day. Was probably 2 years later when they launched the GT that finally got me off the fence. Haven't looked back and bring it to all sorts of life events like camping to crusing around downtown with friends. Seeing peoples eyes light up when I ride by from 2 years old all the way to 90 is unlike anything else I've experienced. Truely a life altering invention. Happy to be a part of the OW lifestyle.
You created a wonderful thing that has hugely improved my life and lives of so many. What a monumental accomplishment. You deserve every success. Thank you, FM! ❤

The latest Pint X firmware update bringing the Pint S software upgrade absolutely embodies the spirit and goals that were the cornerstone of the creation of Future Motion. Took a little while but I am super thankful they did it!
Thanks for the video on your journey. I bought a Pint for my son years ago and got jealous so got me an XR. Now we both float on GTs and love them. Just incredible fun!
So awesome to see the backstory and the evolution of the Onewheel! I've only been riding my boards every day for a little over 2 years now, but it has been quite an adventure so far. Love it! ❤🤘
Thank you Kyle, and the future motion team! Every trip I go on or every adventure I go on I make sure I take one of my Onewheels. It has changed my life for the better and I am so thankful and blessed to own a few. I’ve owned a plus which I gave to my friend so he can enjoy the Stoke and now I have a XR a GT and a GTS I’m so thankful. Congratulations on 10 years. Excited to see what the next 10 years has in store from you guys. ✌🏼the stoke is high in my household!!😊

When you finish making repairs possible by completing the modular project ill invest in my next stoke machine from the future. Happy floating everyone.
Congrats on 10 years!!! This is a major milestone. I've been a part of this family since the XR which I still own. I've added a GT & my wife a Pint & possible soon a Pint X for her.
This is the sickest of the sickest vid of Onewheel I’ve seen, seeing the progress. I remember seeing a onewheel by the car dealership I used to work at in 2015 and I thought it was awesome. But back I didn’t have funds to purchase one. So I always wondered what it was like to have one, till I bought one back in 2021! And it’s been such a thrill !!! Keep the stoke going ONEWHEEL!! Great job Kyle and the onewheel team 🔥🔥🔥
As an owner of 3 OW’s, it would be so wonderful if Future Motion was as wholesome and down to earth as this video portrays them. They treat objects like women, man. Eventually FM will be surpassed by other companies making equipment for our sport. The sport Kyle started is much more than just future motion and will continue without them.
Just got my first one wheel a few weeks ago. Been wanting one for a while but it wasn’t until I tried a friends that I was sold. Now I have my GT in the car wherever I go and look forward to riding whenever possible! Reminds me of skateboarding but in a unique rad experience! Highly recommend trying it out, respect the limits of the board and you’ll have a blast. Happy floating!
retired, and bought a Miata and a Onewheel... I've put over 20,000 miles on my Onewheel(s) and 16,000 on my Miata! All I do with my Miata is carry my Onewheel to my next adventure!
EPIC video/adventure!!! Thank you Kyle and FM team for dreaming and making the future rad! Onewheel has changed my life in more ways than one!! Congrats on this anniversary!!
Fantastic short film, fantastic product, inspiring people....if only one day I would be allowed to ride my Onewheel legally 🤞🏻🇨🇭 Keep on with the great work you do guys! Love it!
I first rode a onewheel in 2022 while visiting a friend and immediately was obsessed - fast forward 2 years and I now own a plus. I didn't realize exactly how early on the board was made, but starting off this late with something from another era feels right in a way 🙂
@@Yielar1 If you can’t embrace innovation or meet the demand of the client then that’s what happens. As a business owner myself, thats the facts of life.
Great video. I appreciate the vision and all the work that has gone into this product. I ride every day, and it’s a wonderful way to get out and see nature here in Florida. It’s also a great way for me to clear my head and think of new art to make. Thank you guys! -Legal Burning 🔥
I wish I could fix my randomly unresponsive GT without having to pay you guys to fix it! Excited for the community to eventually get to that point where we own our devices! Floatwheel's new drop-in kit is looking FIRE right about now!!
We just rolled out a ton of individual parts and components on our site to help folks fix or replace parts on their own. Could be worth a look if your board is out of warranty and you'd like to fix it yourself. Cheers
I ride with my 14 year old daughter & my 7yr old. It’s a family thing. We put down serious time for a family.. amazing. It’s what we do as a family. Not because dad wants too but because the kids want to.. well maybe it’s equal😉 but seriously it’s created a past time for my family.
I have loved my XR and Pint for 5 years now. One of the funnest things I have ever done. That you FM for such a fun product. Someday I will even upgrade to the GT S-series. The stoke is very real. ---0--
I'm an IT computer guy now, and my life isn't very sporty. This remains the best purchase I ever made in my life. I step out my front door, and I'm free. Milk runs, trips to the hardware store, doesn't matter. The mundane becomes adventure.
An American success story! Thanks for putting this together and taking all of us on this journey. Not to often you see the start of an idea go through the process of creating a market and then innovating to extend market reach. A company I’m proud to be behind!
Not a boardsport until you can work on your own board, using standardized tools, or take it to the board shop for repairs and upgrades, or DIY mods. Until then its a company town, watching you lawyer up and commercialize af a great idea. Safety? Then why doesn't the GT have gradient tracking? Convice people to get hapic buzz in exchange for gt on GT.
What about all of the work Ben Smither and Trevor Blackwell did back in 2006-2010 that was the original design? I love all of my OneWheels, but it would show a little humility to at least give a head nod to the shoulders you stood on.
Now the only difference between Onewheel and board sports is your patent being locked down. Your move, FM. If you want to see this grow, you have to let it grow.
I will admit that Kyle is developing and advancing much faster than Henry Ford did. If I'm not mistaken, from 1903-1920 (17 years), the Model T didn't change much because of the limited competition. The OneWheel has changed drastically in 10 years. That being said, if we do not allow competition in this arena, we will not see the level of innovation we would experience if we had adequate competition. This is the reason the MADDEN NFL FOOTBALL franchise hasn't innovated much since EA Sports "unalived" NFL2K5. All because they sold a better game for $20 less. (You heard that right!) Those that don't know history are doomed to repeat it.
@@CayoticProphet yeah, at the end of the day, opening up onewheel and putting the patents in public domain would create a huge market which is required for mass adoption. Onewheel would be a competitor (with a huge head start, mind you), and you’d have other brands with similar products tailored to different purposes. Take skateboarding for example (A great example because onewheel and one of the major skateboard suppliers - NHS are both from Santa Cruz), skateboarding would have never been able to enter the mass adoption phase with just one brand making them. Any hobby, board sport, market, industry, surrounds many businesses creating products (RC cars, skateboards, automotive, surfing, etc). If onewheel wants any of the above, they need to open up the market.
Sounds like you have no idea about IP and what it takes to start and run a similar company. I'm so happy that Kyle started the company he did and I wouldn't have done it any other way. Just laugh when I see whiners like yourself crying about something you have no clue about. Get a life dude
@@ZOMBIESNEPER It's definitely a sport and other companies can try to make whatever they want but of course they need to work around the patents just like any other tech company on the planet. Common sense for most

Pride is the mask of one's own mistakes.
@@TEDDiBullwinkel Oh Teddy Winkel, you sound like a good time. Lol

But back I didn’t have funds to purchase one. So I always wondered what it was like to have one, till I bought one back in 2021! And it’s been such a thrill !!! Keep the stoke going ONEWHEEL!! Great job Kyle and the onewheel team 🔥🔥🔥
I will be joining the family very soon. I’m so stoked 🔥
💯
Awesome video and congrats on 10 years. ❤
Sounds like you're living the dream Richard!
@@Onewheel I'm 65 and I can't stay off these things!
EPIC video/adventure!!! Thank you Kyle and FM team for dreaming and making the future rad! Onewheel has changed my life in more ways than one!! Congrats on this anniversary!!
Thanks Papa!
Fantastic short film, fantastic product, inspiring people....if only one day I would be allowed to ride my Onewheel legally 🤞🏻🇨🇭 Keep on with the great work you do guys! Love it!
Good job guys….
Love my wheel and the summer gonna be exceptional!!
I first rode a onewheel in 2022 while visiting a friend and immediately was obsessed - fast forward 2 years and I now own a plus. I didn't realize exactly how early on the board was made, but starting off this late with something from another era feels right in a way 🙂
This video has been on repeat for me since you guys released it! 😅
thank you for your service. you are no longer needed. happy anniversary
😭🏆
Sounds like you've heard that a lot in your life

If you can’t embrace innovation or meet the demand of the client then that’s what happens. As a business owner myself, thats the facts of life.
If I hadn’t gotten a one wheel, I don’t think my mental health would have improved as much as it did
Glad to hear it Todd
Awesomeness achievement. Keep on going with it!
Brings that nostalgia!!
It definitely does!
Still my favourite thing in the whole world, and the GTS has been the best of the best.
3k miles, 2 boards, unlimited adventures :)
Great video. I appreciate the vision and all the work that has gone into this product. I ride every day, and it’s a wonderful way to get out and see nature here in Florida. It’s also a great way for me to clear my head and think of new art to make. Thank you guys!

Cheers
Oneweel for life ❤
Epic! Stoked to have joined during the early “movement” days
Up to 11,000kms and will ride till I can’t no more. Thanks for everything ❤️-o- ❤️
Cheers!
I'm an IT computer guy now, and my life isn't very sporty. This remains the best purchase I ever made in my life. I step out my front door, and I'm free. Milk runs, trips to the hardware store, doesn't matter. The mundane becomes adventure.
Love this! Great exploration of the story. :)
That video was lit
Thanks! A lot of fun going through old footage to put it together.
5K miles and every single one of them brought me joy
Pure joy
Indeed!
An American success story! Thanks for putting this together and taking all of us on this journey. Not to often you see the start of an idea go through the process of creating a market and then innovating to extend market reach. A company I’m proud to be behind!
I guess I’ve been around for 3 1/2 years…and loving it!
I tore my ACL on my XR last July, but I still can't wait to get back on the board later this year. So cool to see the early days.
Best video yet! Happy to be a OW owner!
I guess my Only way I'll get to say Thank You Kyle and Future Motion🤘🏻
What about all of the work Ben Smither and Trevor Blackwell did back in 2006-2010 that was the original design? I love all of my OneWheels, but it would show a little humility to at least give a head nod to the shoulders you stood on.
Now the only difference between Onewheel and board sports is your patent being locked down. Your move, FM. If you want to see this grow, you have to let it grow.
True i wouldn’t call onewheel a sport if one company has complete control over it
I will admit that Kyle is developing and advancing much faster than Henry Ford did.
(You heard that right!)
Those that don't know history are doomed to repeat it.
Common sense for most
I love you OneWheel! 💙
Talk about Ben Smithers.
Thank you Kyle!
Started on a used V1 i bought for $500 with like 279 miles on it in 2018. On my 7th board now and loving the GT-S!
Glad to hear it!
I will never forget riding my first board the pint for the first time niether will my legs😂😂rocking gt now with my gts in a fedex truck coming in hot 🎉🎉
I’m crying 😭 I love it ❤ you guys are awesome
