I was thinking the stability mod maybe something that you may want to list as an option it has been working great so far I will be able to give a better update once winter gets here but so far once I get on frequency with everyone it stays there all evening even if I go to AM and talk awhile as soon as I come back to SSB the radio is still on freq and of course if there are multiple channels running on SSB you may have to adjust to the different channel if those guys are a little higher or lower than 38 which most times 36 is dead on and 38 is a little high but that’s the nature of the game I also noticed a slight improvement with the noise floor as well not sure if that will happen for others or not but in my 797 it has worked well stabilised the frequency and gave a little softer tone to the noise floor
I might should also say that if I had had Mat to add the stability fix first I don’t think I would have appreciated all that it did for the radio but after running the radio for awhile and then having him do the stability mod helped me to actually appreciate it more and if I ever buy another galaxy ranger style brand radio I will definitely be having the stability mod done on the initial setup
Wowza! Another radio that looks good, sounds good and is rockin' , right out of the box. Are the manufacturers finally getting some QC committment together? It is a winner in my eyes. 👍👊💪👋 😑🦗
We don't see many of those down here these days most truck drivers use the UHF CB's these days i still have a Delta Force in the box for about 25 years , The HF CB bands are very quiet here .Cheers from Australia
Looks like a Galaxy 979....but with the color changing faceplate which makes it look really cool. But as always you do good work on the radios and going over everything about them when you demo them.
Not a bad looking radio. I like the variable power. And bass/ treble pot. Im surprised truckers want ssb. Im not a driver. Just turned wrenches on them for years.
Well added echo at no extra cost is my favorite, then also extra channels are in the works 😁😉, hi cut, roger beep, clarifier unlock, probably a 10k jump switch
Okay we have a new ranger. We also have a radio that can compete with the 29 . But when are these companies ever going to make a CB radio with a detachable face. And I'm not talking about one of these little handheld jobs. A nice radio with respectable power with a detachable faceplate that you can install anywhere.
i do want a radio that does lots of power and has SSB i want to see a 2995DXCF with a 6pill amp built in and i do want to see a 2970N6 with a 6 pill amp built in not everyone is a truck driver
Nice looking radio
Did you watch till the end? I mentioned about you and your radio. I was wondering if you could comment about it 👊👍
@@TheRadioGarage got interrupted I will finish it later
Actually surprised how clean that was out of the box for a ranger

"tre top" means "tree top" its a phrase we used back in the day!! thats what they based the name off of. " Wall to wall tree top tall"
Great little radio i run a KL-503 with it and it booms out 300 wats am and more on sideband

Okay I'm already impressed for it being a CB.
I will be selling these. Also for anyone who would want echo in place of the bass/treble I will do that at no extra cost!!😊
NIce!
When will they be on the web page ?
Should be 1 to 2 weeks.
When will these be back in stock?

@@TheRadioGarage thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Looks just like a Ranger X9
you can frequency that radio to use it in ssb
Looks likes a updated Galaxy959
Hi Alan 👋
You can't help with that you're a cute lil dude.
👍🏻👍🏻
Just got one yesterday,
Bring back the Galaxy DX 959
Only with FM capability (and CTCSS/DCS capability in FM mode)
That’s a pretty nice Cb there.
Also can add echo at no added charge!! Nice how that bass/treble control works perfect for an echo 🤔😁
Has a Galaxy look
Nice , i am liking this one, so what are the options for extras?

Personally I'm good with the old school setup
