I tried to install the cable management system today on my new XTool D1 Pro 10W. I followed the instructions exactly. Unfortunately, the cable harness that came with my new system is shorter than what is shown in the video. When I ran the harness on the outside of the machine, the stepper motor cable was too short to reach the upper laser head positions (i.e. pulled tightly on the cable). I wonder if XTool recently modified the cable harness.
I bought every accessory you have for the 40watt, but can you provide measurements for the extension? I'm running into it getting caught up when it goes all the way down to when it goes back up.
You can use the clamps yes - but the harness that I include in the kit I don't believe is compatible. Sadly the non-pro only has 8 pins I think where as the pro has 9 pins...
Hey ordered some things from you for my d1 non pro. Runs amazing was able to build the Stanley rig and I was able to get a hand down fume extractor so I got a dual unit😂 I guess ,( I had sent an email, needed some help with part of my order ) thanks again- 🎉
Got mine and installed mine this week. Love it. I prefer it over drag chains because it gives me more options as i add/mod/tweak my machine. Looking forward to getting my vacuum hose and filter which comes Saturday.
This is awesome but I was looking for the video with the zip tie cable management again for now, until i can get the rest of your upgrades (waiting on the shipment of a few of your products right now) but I can't find it.
The 40W is taller than the other modules and I had the extra thick honeycomb bed from the S1 underneath so it was riding pretty high on the carriage. I can also shorten up the harnesses a bit so they don't loop as high :)
