To this day I still consider the DCAU to be the definitive DC continuity. Other great shows and movies may have come along over the years, but Bruce Timm, Paul Dini and the rest of the crew really did make the version I love most 😊
dcau with like, mild edits to bring it in line with the level of 'prohibited content' from comic books rather than animated tv, yeah. broad strokes on that, as close as possible on characterization. that's the "real thing" to the max.
Batman TAS may critically be the best of the DCU, but on a personal level my favorite is JL and JLU combined. I owe a lot of my basic understanding and love of the DC universe and Characters to this show.
This is what introduced me to the DC setting and I love it. Apparently hard core DC fans hate it. Jon Stewart was my first Green Lantern and I loved the fact he was a former US Marine, but apparently people hate him. There is a bit of internet truth that the more versions of a setting exist the more divisive the setting's fan community gets.
I remember when this video first went up, it was my first introduction to The Question. Definitely an odd, yet interesting character. This wasn't my first experience with the Justice League shows they did back when, but I'd fallen out of watching such things in the 2000s due to life and circumstances. What I've seen of JL and JLU definitely make them seem like great shows, though. I wish Chuck could do more of then, I love his animated reviews.
It has to do with the ratio of the video length to the source material. Once a video passes roughly 9.5 minutes on a source that's less than half an hour, the bot gets extremely strict. Right now, split, the video is non-monetizable but visible; combine them, it's non-monetizable AND blocked.
@@dalenlewin And from what I gather, Chuck has been toying with all the timings and the bot work for a while now - this is the solution which has worked thus far.
@@Thomas.Wright with the way corporations are these days, I wouldn’t be surprised if they combined every social media site into one giant mega corporation.
Voiced by Jeffrey Combs. That's a pretty kick ass super power...👍
I got a signed picture from him early this year!
@@GrantM1984 cool!

Great episode. I loved the reimagining of the Question as a conspiracy theorist.
Jeffrey Combs should be in all the things!
"The Question... _his_ superpower is that he's voiced by Jeffrey Combs."

Once a Marine, always a Marine.
Appreciate the nod to Arrowverse at the start.
The puns in the video are amazing. My favorite one is the one about Question's power. 🤣

5:50 Did supergirl change her outfit here?
No, it's the same one But the lighting makes it look of a diferent color

What’s the point of splitting these into two parts? The review is barely 10 minutes long.

@@sfdebrisred6555 wow, that is a weird rule. But then again, have any of UA-cam’s restrictions ever made sense?
@@dalenlewin The only way UA-cam could get more screwy would be if Zuck bought it.

So the Question believes in Qanon?
Of course. Qanon is a ploy by the government to make conspiracy theorists look crazy. Works really well, too!
@@Thraim. No need for a government ploy your average conspiracy theorist will do that all on their own.
@ J B
_The Question_ understands QAnon's motives, knows his real name and has traced all his sources, then folded those into his own working theories.
