I am a foodie and I do get exited when I try something good. My husband is Nicaraguan and their food is delicious! Thank you for sharing your experiences David. Love your videos! Not sure if you are Latino descent but you definitely understand the culture and interact very well with the people. Looking forward to watch more of your videos. Well done 👏🏽
I always like to see markets in different countries, you see where your foods come from and also thte people the culture. Thanks David and safe travels always.
Nice Job bro, es maravilloso ver a personas de otros paises promover lo positivo del pais que visitan, that market is amazing, if I ever visit Nicaragua, I gotta go there, Saludos desde Republica Dominicana
I say a 5 o'clock shadow beard. Do you realize that the cabbage is coleslaw called by a different name? The reason why everything tastes so good is because it's fresh and probably truly organic as well, unlike what we have to buy in North America where everything is supply and demand. Nice to hear you reference Trinidad again. David, you have to go back to Trinidad for carnival and you should hook up with a carnival band, get a costume and join in in the parade. You would love it. Plus you get to display the costume in your new office along with your collection of masks. Love these videos in Nicaragua and your host is very nice. Looking forward to the next one.🇹🇹🇨🇦
No, no, I'm a farmer and believe we don't have control with pesticides. Probably the taste is because we use a lot of water to irrigate our fruits and veggies also we have good soil and weather. All those things help.
@@nicamarisol I agree. That's why I said probably organic. What country do you live in? I am originally from Trinidad and we grew everything truly organic. This was in the 1950's, 1960's and 1970's until I left in 1976. And it's true that the soil is richer and better, and the weather is more conducive to growing crops.
The main difference between coleslaw and ensalada de repollo is the dressing, coleslaw is made with a cream based dressing, ensalada de repollo is made with a vinegar based and peppers dressing , plus tomatoes , cucumbers and green peppers.
It’s amazing how not to many people know about Nicaraguan food cause we have one of the most delicious food in all central and Latin America hope you’ve enjoyed visiting Nicaragua David thank you for your videos it makes me feel like I’m in Nicaragua myself god willing and I go by the beginning of January 🙏
What a Nicaragua-Assam-Meghalaya connection! You forgot! You saw those 'sponge gourd's at Bara Bazar market in Shillong. We also traditionally use this as scrubber, particularly in Assam and Meghalaya. In Assamese we call this specific vegetable as 'bhul' and as a vegetable, we often cook fish curry with it, which is very tasty. We expect you back in Assam and NE States soon; better after September till April! :)
I found your videos by chance and I’ve been watching your videos for almost 4 hours already. You do an amazing job. How in the world can you eat so much? What are the 3 things you enjoyed the most about this visit? What are the 3 dishes you like the most?

Dude, your vids have me ready to head down there ASAP. I heard Granada was super touristy but, it looks like mostly locals in that mercado. Food looks awesome!
I am from Nicaraguan, i came to America when i was 11 yrs old i am now 35 but enchiladas rellenas are my fave, they did not serve it right but i love that you love our Nicaraguan Cusine...... still more to try....
Es increíble como puedes comer tanto, y de todo, tienes un estómago fuerte, me he fijado que comes muy rápido, trata de comer despacio, te veo desde CA y yo soy de Nicaragua 🇳🇮
I am from Nicaragua, I went back after 19 1/2 years, but i congrats you because you ate more Nicaraguan food than me. I am never going to try the iguana soup. lol
no beard...lol i live in Granada and am from Hollywood, CA. The owner of the place you got the enchilada is a friend of mine. and the guy that is showing you around He didn't take you to the Calzada at night.
The pollo con cabbage looks good. How much? yum yum Breakfast? lol what time did you have it. Is this different market than the one at the bus depot? How far is this mkt from the airport and bus depot? thanks.
Me encanta el video. Probaste tantas comidas differentes. I love the video. You tried so many different foods. Too bad traveling these days is such an unpleasant experience what with the stupid covid rules. permissions, paperwork, tracking etc they force on people... or I'd have already been to Nicaragua by now. Someone could make a fortune if they organized private tours/charters where people could avoid all that silliness.
This channel is not about buying food for a guide. Its about david eating food worldwide. Oh, i bet off camera , david gives leftovers to his guide and camera crew. Because david can't eat everything.
He does this in every country he goes too.. even locally. Its just annoying. May be the constructive criticism will make him change up a bit as hes growing a following
Theres never left overs cause he eats it all. Also he never puts others youtube pages up only instagram links. Go watch Mark or Sonny and how they treat their guests or tours guides it night and day.
I always link people's preferred social channel. They let me know what they want me to use. Also, it is literally completely untrue that I don't buy my staff and guides food. I absolutely do! I support local business, and I always tip my guides substantially as well. They absolutely do eat and you are just slandering me. 90% of the footage doesn't make it to the final video and I don't have time to always show those parts. I respect you have your opinion but it isn't cool to make things up about people. Just because you don't see it on camera doesn't mean you don't see it. Have you ever thought that maybe forcing people on the clock to eat on camera might actually be invasive and exploitative? People should be allowed to eat in peace not with me pointing my camera in their face. That said have a great evening and I appreciate you expressing yourself.
David u have a bad guide tour 🤦🏻♂️ on nicaragua the barber charged you more! The sour cream is not yogurt and he doesn't translate well for you! Hope if u come back get a good guide 👏🏼
