I've had two Blu branded phones in the past and I can tell you right now, the specs literally mean nothing. I thought for what it came with it was the best thing for the price but no. Performance starts off good but gets worse over time. They're also terrible with software updates, which, I feel, is very important these days since many people don't upgrade every year. I'd say to only get this device if you don't plan on keeping it for more than a year/year and a half at most. The pixel may be slightly more expensive, but for an extra $120+, you'll definitely get your money's worth. I'd save up and go for the pixel over the Bold N2.

Had mine for over a year. Very impressed overall, with the exception of the camera. Battery life good, apps seem to run fine, and 5G gives me good speed most everywhere. Sadly, my old LG G6 had a much better camera, as did my older iPhones. As many have mentioned in various reviews, the fingerprint reader can be problematic at times, but usually a good cleaning on the reader and finger is all it needs.

I had the A53 5g. I loved that phone. But I got it wet and was informed by the repair guys that they can't repair it because the screen isn't replaceable. Not sure if they just lied to me or not, but I ended up buying a refurbished S9 + to get me through until I could buy another A53. Longer story short, I still have the S9+ and hate it. Miss my old A53 very much and the longer battery life. Is the A23 5g as good as the A53? I'm not interested in spending $500-$1000 on a phone, but I need it for GPS, planning/scheduling, conference calls and even zoom meetings. My A53 did all of that without issue, so I'm not sure if going with an A23 would be a downgrade or not. Can anyone help me figure that out? Tia 😊
I know. I absolutely love my A5 (2017) for it's size but after 5 years I finally cracked the screen and no updates for this phone since 2020 . I can find Chinese rugged phones under 6" in Canada, but regular phones are all 6.5 and up.
I want to try the A33 5G but it doesn't have AOD even though it has amoled panel Samsung cut features here and there because of the price, yeah I get it.
HSN is offering this phone as a tracfone for their todays special $119.99 and it comes with a years service... it also includes car and wall chargers, case, bluetooth earbuds.
Mine is sitting on my desk, as I type. Great price and since I mainly read books on it, is use it as a phone, text once in a while, and look stuff up now and then, I'm sure I'll be more than happy.
I've paid $1000+ in the past for smartphones and, after having them damaged & stolen after loosing my husband to CoVid pneumonia I had to try a more budget friendly phone and, so far so excellent I'm very pleased with my purchase!❤

Sounds like a good deal for you. Hope you like Boost better than I did. At their store I had great signal but at home 2.5 miles away on a hilltop I had crappy signal, dropped calls and a couple of other things I didn't like.
as someone who loves wire headphones, I'd say that's the thing that separates the a23 to the a34, I don't like that they took the headphone jack out. seems cheaper to me even though it's more expensive
That's because of the Bluetooth take over. I prefer a set of headphones with a physical jack! The quality of Bluetooth vs Wired Headphones is something the users should have the option to choose between them. If you take out the jack, it's more likely a customer will buy the Samsung Bluetooth Earbuds.
Man get an Iphone 11, u will thank me, i moved from android to ios, its more faster and more secure, android sucks at security bro trust me i will never ever change iphone
The Samsung A24 and Samsung A23 are both on my shopping list as they have two sim card slots and a SD Card Slot three slots instead of two is a win for me.
Best Reasons to buy A23 5G in 2024 Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Yes it lags a bit but Does not overheat. TFT LCD very bright enough. Screen burn in marks is not a worry anymore plus 120 hurtz fast display. Fingerprint Security Lock and face unlock features. Battery is Superb 10/10 + SUPPORTS 25Watt fast charging. Dual Sim +SD Card Slot 3 of them can be inserted at the same time. No compromises. Unlike other devices if you need to use themmemory card slot U need 2 removed the 2nd sim. + 3.5mm Headphone Jack + it also supports USB OTG And Plastic Body that Bends Unlike the glass that break. IP68 rating for dust and water resistant is there too. NO WORRIES IN MAINTAINING THE BODY CONDITIONS OF THE PHONE. + it supports Dolby Atmos for a better sound quality. I'd rather get this devices than other samsung budget devices that doesn't have Snapdragon chipsets worse lag and overheating experience with Helio & Exynos CPU chipsets. I HOPE THIS HELPS FOR YO YOUR BUYING DECISIONS.
Igot this phone for $100 for my father. It works good for what he needs. Ok camera, decent screen and it has enough memory for videos and browsing the web also gps navigation
I'm considering getting this to replace my ailing battery small screen iphone SE 2020 that I'm burnt out on for a variety of reasons. The newer ios versions have been increasingly glitchy, don't care for the small screen, HATE the apple autocorrect, no headphone jack or sd card slot, small battery that wasn't even good when new, don't like having to physically click the home button just to go to the home screen or leave an app. Although I have found the A32 5G 4gb ram/64gb rom a little cheaper online, not sure how much I'd like the blown up 720p resolution the A32 5g has on a big 6.5in screen or w/e it has. The A32 5g and also A23 5g seem just as good as my 2020 iphone SE at pics...it's not like my iphone even had night mode anyway nor anything more than a single camera, lol. Never really been one to be taking pics at night, and if I do, I'd use flash anyway. Maybe I'm just getting grumpy and frugal in my mid 30s but I genuinely shiver in disgust at the thought of ever paying $1000-1200+ just for a freaking phone lol. Some casual social media, IMing, texting, youtube, browsing, occasional call and occasional cat/yummy food pic are about the jist of what I do these days. I could get the tracfone A23 5g bundled with a year's worth of service for only $139 total
Anyone looking to buy this phone as their main phone, is certainly not too concerned with how well the gaming is. I'm sure someone who's budgeting that hard will be fine with the performance. That being said; got two of them for my young children. Long as it runs Roblox and Apex works, they're good.
I have metro by T-Mobile and I cannot decide what samsung galaxy phone is the best? I got the a53 5g the other day and it's the worst phone ever, the battery sucks, it lags, and nothing loads and if it does it takes forever. I had the a32 5g one of the best phones I had ever had!!! Should I get the a33 5g? Or the moto g stylus 5g 2022? Help!!!!!! And metro by T-Mobile does not have much phone options which is disappointing
Due To Certain Circumstances And Extensive Exploring...This Maybe My Next Phone...I Currently Have The SAMSUNG GALAXY A03S I Purchased 3 Weeks Ago For Now...
@DoNot Need I think it's a great update! The whole phone runs a lot smoother with no lags. My only concern is that the Google store security update is stuck on July 2022, but there are many other users with the same problem on various other phones, so hopefully, Samsung gets that fixed soon.
You can get a s21 or pixel 6 pro renewed for around 300 which would be money better spent. But if you can get this for free on a trade it would be worth it
I used to owe an A33 5g, and apart its amoled panel, the rest is crap. Exynos 1280 is laggy, battery life is horrible, fingerprint sensor is a nightmare to setup. I switched to an A23 5g and I have minimum of 2 days of battery life. Sometimes I observe some minor staters, but not a big deal. Very good photos in daylight, struggles a bit at night. But, who cares about night photos anyway…
I would look for Samsung Galaxy A52 5G factory unlocked Amazon prime renewal program, Back market, Swappa, eBay , Samsung Galaxy A52S 5g is a good option, Samsung Galaxy S20 Fe unlocked Amazon prime renewal program, Back market, Swappa, EBay has gone down in price Samsung Galaxy S20 Fe can get android 13

I'm watching this on an A22 4g which I had to choose between it and an A13(same price where I'm from), in my opinion Samsung has still not topped it's value since that was the best "budget" phone they have made in a while, I'll wait for the A24 😂😂
The best deal in the smartphone market and I have been using Samsung phones for years now I will tell you that no matter what you have the best-updated phone when you can have an SD card for your videos, music, pictures, recording, etc that's awesome that's why I don't recommend people to buy any IPHONE because they have control of your media and I can't afford to loose my 500 videos and 5.000 songs and 10.000 pictures. I recommend this phone for the price nobody can beat the price for a great phone's.
My boyfriend has the s22 ultra and he had an adapter where he can directly hook his phone to the TV without wifi, I believe it's program is called deX. Does anyone know why it doesn't work the same for my a23 5g? Or if/where I could get one that is compatible with the a23 5g?
I just got my A23 after upgrading from my A32 which broke. I like it so far! Only compliant I got is no built in screen recorder, and no 4K support. From what I noticed
4K video recording is impossible as Snapdragon 695 doesn't support it. Nokia X30 a 400+ €/$ costing Amoled phone with a superb Samsung flagship main camera sensor can't record videos in 4K only because it has the same Snapdragon 696 chip.
@@blackgown7485my Xiaomi mi 11 Lite 5g NE has a screen recorder. It can record a video of your screen activity if you want that. Only time I have used it was when I made a video of how to use advanced features in the camera app, I sent that video to a relative who didn't know about it, so the video showed what I did on my screen and she understood it easily - first I had tried to explain it with words but she understood nothing 😮.

FHD+ 120 hz IPS LCD screen 450 nits brightness, 6.67 inches....snap 732G, 33 W fast charging, dual stereo speakers, 6000 mah battery, side mounted fingerprint sensor, cameras are okayish (i don't take any pics so that's not a bummer for me) what more do i need
I have seen the Pixel 6a for $299 or the UK equivalent, and the Pixel is a far better phone for those regions that sell it. I suggest OnePlus and other Chinese phones at this price. The A23 5G would be well down my list at this price, as 4GB is terrible. A straightforward no from me.
The Samsung A23 looks absolutely brilliant better than the Samsung A24 and Samsung A25 as the Samsung A23 has two sim card slots and SD card slots. And a headphone jack. Might buy two as backup phone.
Why you ask, I mean it's doesn't matter what ur taking a picture of, a bad camera is bad camera & I'm speaking from A A23 Samsung user, it says Samsung but the platform is Google..this phone is so trash that I actually ordered a iPhone..

What's wrong with that picture? In my opinion my old Galaxy Lite is a better phone plus it has features that have been removed from the new phones.🤷🏼♂️🤦🏽♂️

Tia 😊
I have an A23 5G and it’s one of the few phones I generally loved. It’s not perfect but it’ll definitely suit your needs
Why doesn't Samsung make some smaller A series phones? They do with the vanilla S series.
I know. I absolutely love my A5 (2017) for it's size but after 5 years I finally cracked the screen and no updates for this phone since 2020 . I can find Chinese rugged phones under 6" in Canada, but regular phones are all 6.5 and up.
I don't mind. I'm nearsighted.
12/12/22 just purchased for 449.00. What do I think? It is not worth the hype! AG53 - 5g.....
I want to try the A33 5G but it doesn't have AOD even though it has amoled panel Samsung cut features here and there because of the price, yeah I get it.
Performance?it has sd 695 5g processor which in terms of gaming is much better than the a33 exynous 1280.so what are you talking about that it’s slow?
I got this cell for my trip to South America since it is not so expensive and has a decent camera.
Condolences 💐
This is going to sound like a dumb question
But can you adjust the brightness?
And can you display the battery percentage without the dropdown menu
I didn't see an option in the video
Thanks 👍
All photos he showed and had shot on A23 5g looks brilliant on my superb 10,5" Super AMOLED tablet screen, yet TechDaily complains quite a lot, why ? 🤔
Tech Daily I bought a A 23 5G months ago and like the phone a lot, really wanted the Samsung S 21, but a little more money now I have read S 21 price has gone down wish I could get it now, but too late!
I hustrecently got this phone its a good phone the battery is a BEAST an the speakers are pretty decent. You are so RIGHT about the charging not include it makes no sense Awesome Vid
I just got mine for 9.99 at boost today so it’s a great deal either way
Sounds like a good deal for you. Hope you like Boost better than I did. At their store I had great signal but at home 2.5 miles away on a hilltop I had crappy signal, dropped calls and a couple of other things I didn't like.
U mean u bought a Samsung A23 for £9.99 lol....thats crazy lol
What's the difference between this and a a33
I’ve got the 4G A23 in Awesome Peach-strangely Samsung omits NFC on the A23 4G in Australia, reserving it for the 5G A23.
No problem. I've never had a use for NFC. My Motorola has a bunch of bells and whistles I have turned off because I don't have any use for them.
as someone who loves wire headphones, I'd say that's the thing that separates the a23 to the a34, I don't like that they took the headphone jack out. seems cheaper to me even though it's more expensive
I'm still using an S7 and dont know which phone to get next. An S20fe or a53 5g? Its overwhelming, the number of options out there.
S20 fe for sure
Man get an Iphone 11, u will thank me, i moved from android to ios,
its more faster and more secure, android sucks at security bro trust me i will never ever change iphone
@TateMindsets s20 fe is way better than iphone 11
The Samsung A24 and Samsung A23 are both on my shopping list as they have two sim card slots and a SD Card Slot three slots instead of two is a win for me.
Picked mine up for 100 last week just wait a few months.
Best Reasons to buy A23 5G in 2024
Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 Yes it lags a bit but Does not overheat.
TFT LCD very bright enough. Screen burn in marks is not a worry anymore plus 120 hurtz fast display.
Fingerprint Security Lock
and face unlock features.
Battery is Superb 10/10
+ SUPPORTS 25Watt fast charging.
Dual Sim
+SD Card Slot
3 of them can be inserted at the same time. No compromises.
Unlike other devices if you need to use themmemory card slot U need 2 removed the 2nd sim.
+ 3.5mm Headphone Jack
+ it also supports USB OTG
And Plastic Body that Bends Unlike the glass that break.
To go on about RAM but not mention RAM Plus is unfair especially since there's also a 1TB microSD slot. And this 5G phone comes with Gorilla glass.
Igot this phone for $100 for my father. It works good for what he needs. Ok camera, decent screen and it has enough memory for videos and browsing the web also gps navigation
Would you recommend the Samsung Galaxy A23 5G or the A14 5G?
Great informative video!!
Thanks for taking the time to create it sir. 👏🏻
Anyone looking to buy this phone as their main phone, is certainly not too concerned with how well the gaming is. I'm sure someone who's budgeting that hard will be fine with the performance.
That being said; got two of them for my young children. Long as it runs Roblox and Apex works, they're good.
It runs good
Asked for the Ampere sunglasses for Christmas!!
Great video Man once again Man great video!
Please tell me where I can find this kool wallpaper you are showing?
I love watching your videos even tho I’m never going to use a android phone
I love the colorful wallpaper. where can i download that at?
I got the Android 13 update a couple of days ago in UK
Do you like it or just still getting used to it?
@DoNot Need I think it's a great update! The whole phone runs a lot smoother with no lags. My only concern is that the Google store security update is stuck on July 2022, but there are many other users with the same problem on various other phones, so hopefully, Samsung gets that fixed soon.
You can get a s21 or pixel 6 pro renewed for around 300 which would be money better spent. But if you can get this for free on a trade it would be worth it
Where can i get the s21 for around the same price? Thank you.

Hi
With all the competition on these budget phones Samsung has to step their game up I would get a google 6A over this one
I pickup the a14 5g for $200. It comes with Android 13/1UI 5.0 core out of the box.
What sizes micro SD does this phone take?
I would look for Samsung Galaxy A52 5G factory unlocked Amazon prime renewal program, Back market, Swappa, eBay , Samsung Galaxy A52S 5g is a good option, Samsung Galaxy S20 Fe unlocked Amazon prime renewal program, Back market, Swappa, EBay has gone down in price Samsung Galaxy S20 Fe can get android 13
I Have A Galaxy A23 5G & it Works Pretty Good I'm About Too Buy The Motorola Moto G Stylus 4G LTE (2022) From Walmart it's $149 & It's Gonna Be My New Years Gift I Love All My Other Samsung Galaxy A Series I Also Have TCL Devices iPhones & Motorola & LG Devices I Also Have A Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G & It's Awesome Too Me I Definitely Love All My Phones & Tablets & iPads I'm A Techy Person As Well
Why do you capitalize the first letter of every word? I'm just genuinely curious.
Cricket Wireless has a deal on this phone for $100 for new customers or $190 for current customers.
I was thinking either a23 or a53 but I’m most likely gonna go with the a53 5g
Go with the 54 it's better and it's not far from the s series the only thing that's sets it's apart is the speed which is only seconds apart performance wise and the camera is pretty good I might say
I paid roughly almost 300 for it but it's worth it
I had the A53 5g. I loved that phone. But I got it wet and was informed by the repair guys that they can't repair it because the screen isn't replaceable. @@virginiaw8608 idk I got an iPhone 14 lol
I'm watching this on an A22 4g which I had to choose between it and an A13(same price where I'm from), in my opinion Samsung has still not topped it's value since that was the best "budget" phone they have made in a while, I'll wait for the A24 😂😂
Agree, A22 4G still holds up well

@@donotneed2250 what would u recommend then?
On they 23 5g pull down from top bar press smart view it will go directly to your TV good luck from Ireland 😊
@@Irish780 do you have to have your tv connected to wifi for that?
I just got my A23 after upgrading from my A32 which broke.
I like it so far! Only compliant I got is no built in screen recorder, and no 4K support. From what I noticed
So you cant record vidoes?
Whats a screen recorder?
Who update to Android 14 on Galaxy A23 5G
Remember There Are No Bad Products, Only Bad Prices. As a Result :
"For $299 Xiaomi will offer you an incredible value, to the degree that you leave Samsung for GOOD."
i own a poco x3....the best phone i've ever used till date....bought it for 170$ in 2020 when it was launched ! it's considered a budget phone in the asian market and i'm from india...so that sums it up.....but 300$ for a samsung budget phone....is a little much...could've gone for 220 or 230 or something....but my poco x3 does an amazing job for the price....and it still does in 2023 ....as it's already 2 years old !
Finally they made glasses fun and interesting
Honestly I was so excited to try the sunglasses I’ve literally never seen a product like that before 😅
I still use this phone right now
Great phone.
Me too. Ppl hate it 😂 ..my only gripe is it gets hot
How's your phone right now? Is it still strong?@@reekhavoc2932
anyone know the Name of this Wallpaper ?
Woulda been nice if they kept the super amoled like with the a20.
I just ordered a Samsung A23 5G for only 200 dollar, it´s a no brainer :-) Thank you for a great review.
it is definitely annoying when samsung does not provide the charger.
It must be remembered Samsung can't put to much into the A series phones otherwise people wouldn't but an S series phone.
Is this a23 5g could be used with 4g
Yes
I like how the sponsored product costs just as much as the smartphone being reviewed here.
Anyone look at the a23 5g should get the a33 5g.
I have seen the Pixel 6a for $299 or the UK equivalent, and the Pixel is a far better phone for those regions that sell it. I suggest OnePlus and other Chinese phones at this price. The A23 5G would be well down my list at this price, as 4GB is terrible. A straightforward no from me.
is this faster that my Oppo Reno 4 Lite ?
The Samsung A23 looks absolutely brilliant better than the Samsung A24 and Samsung A25 as the Samsung A23 has two sim card slots and SD card slots. And a headphone jack. Might buy two as backup phone.
I love galaxy phones there durable and works great
He totaly missed the one thing I watched the whole video for, Wide angle video.....Does it have the fish eye effect or not?
Nice phone but the zoom in camera sucks for there is no video settings..
Are you a wild life photographer? Laymen here talking like they are camera professionals, such decadence.
Why you ask, I mean it's doesn't matter what ur taking a picture of, a bad camera is bad camera & I'm speaking from A A23 Samsung user, it says Samsung but the platform is Google..this phone is so trash that I actually ordered a iPhone..
What's up Wade bro how are you doing today Wade bro??
In my opinion it's not worth the money. I like my Moto G Stylus(2020, 2022) and my Redmi Note 12 a lot more. Plus they have TWICE the memory, FM Radio at a lower price. What's wrong with that picture?
In my opinion my old Galaxy Lite is a better phone plus it has features that have been removed from the new phones.🤷🏼♂️🤦🏽♂️
I just bought it for $150 at walmart
I think i got scammed!! I paid $475 for this phone at cricket
U most definitely did
It's very hot while I using to make calls like 20 minutes or 30 minutes I just got from metro pcs but I am not enjoying it all.
Can you play diablo Immortal?
