My first expierence was me using a combination of Winged Dragon of Ra and the exodia pieces in it just as a little way to scare them, they lost heads or tails all three times and through all his draws I ended up with the exodia pieces 💀
@@AAC14156 Lots of meta homework, make sure your deck/side deck is prepared for as many popular decks as you can. Whatever ones you think are most lethal against your deck. Tourneys are tricky, you just have to experience it with open eyes. Don't go in expecting to be Yugi lmao, but don't think it's impossible either.
That's what's happening to me all the time😅 they are playing their whole deck against me and at the end they have like 9-10k attack power and kill me in one round.. it's hilarious🤣 the last 10 rounds i was just a guest or a viewer in the matches😂
I added 3x magical mallets to this deck, it works wonders when you've got a handful of cards, and even when you have useless ones, you can even shuffle your exodia in to get more draw spells.
Did you take any cards out or are you at 43 now? As for me the only change I did was I took out one upstart and added a pot of duality. The only downside is not giving them LP for chicken game but the upside is being able to choose 1 of 3 cards to help continue the draws. Only run 1 though so you don’t add a brick by drawing another and not being able to use it
@@Barneymustdie I am at 45 cards, I added a pot of duality too, plus a gold moon coin. Giving the opponent the useless cards for 2 possible draw spells, like if I draw 2 toon tables, and the extra spell power grasp. Or if I don't have a trade in, I give them a blue eyes.

I built an Exodia deck In Legacy of the Duelist, borrowing heavily on the Rare Hunter's Cheating Exodia deck recipe. I've had a majority of wins with it, and also modified it when I learned of newer cards that came out since GX (I stopped watching after that and had mostly stopped playing until recently), Then I came across this video when looking to see how they handled animations for the summons of "special" monsters like Exodia, and wow, This deck when it works, Works. I've struggled or simply had to quit if Royal Magical Library didn't come up right away or after a few draws. But when I took ideas from this deck and mixed it with what I already had, OMG not always first turn wins but I think I've won more duels consecutively than ever before. If you're not stuck with the banned/limited list, the things you can do to bring Exodia out are insane!
I can just imagine the first person just went to use the bathroom waiting for his turn and then just comes back to see thst he lost on the first turn lol

I faced this deck yesterday day with my dark magician deck and was so confused the whole time. I did beat it tho since I went first and layer a few traps and spells down.
He wanted to go first because a lot of decks that go first will set up negates that stop it, yeah. If he goes second there are just a few handtraps that can F him up so if the opponent didn't have one of those cards in their hands he just had to hope he didn't brick haha
yeah it doesnt look that great, with this deck you can pretty much insta concede if you go 2nd and if the opponent has a ash (who doesnt) its concede time aswell.
Just earned a sub from me, that was dope. So glad this game came out, it brought back the same hype i had for yugioh since I got my first Yugi Starter Deck as a child.
I remember Royal Magical Library from my yugioh days. I though it was a really cool card but I never managed to make it work. Seeing it used as the main draw engine in an Exodia turn 1 win deck is kinda surreal.
I played it a lot with Royal Library and it works pretty good, when you have some spells around it in your first turn. But not the Bamboo Spells, they´re really bad! Too much luck based.

I already found one thing to do better. I replaced one upstart with pot of duality. Having that is better but only if you run 1 so you don’t add a brick

Just finished Solo mode now I'm grinding rank with "Darklords" currently gold this game is awesome. The only negative I have to say is some of the decks you're forced to play with are bugged, effects won't work, but that's it.

Returning from not playing since lob playground stuff and I picked bird up too. Its pretty fun though I cant pilot it perfectly yet >< eldlich is almost an autoloss for my list haha need to fine tune still :D I hope you get all the cards you need!
Got to gold rank 4 so far with my Exodia deck! Heavy turtling and using Blue Dragon Summoners & Legion Fiend Jesters with Wonder Wands for major draw power, Sangans for Exodias head, any piece of Exodia or the spellcasters if needed. Dark holes, Obnoxious Celtic Guard and other defensives to get me through. The only majorly bad match ups so far have been against OTK 10 minute long Links/Pendulum decks
AKA against the decks that suck the fun out of the game. Pretty much why my group have all agreed that were just going to play enough to each get the gems together for us all to just make gen 1 decks and play out our childhoods with classic, cuz this new stuff is just overly convoluted and stupid.
Binging all your maser duel videos, and the chills this one gave me is unreal. Those guys who waited thru the whole thing despite knowing what's coming are the MVPs and true fans..lol..
Honestly I think 200 seconds wouldn’t be that big of an ask, but it would just nerf fragile combo decks and give people less of a chance by forcing people to play optimal control strategies

I honestly wouldn’t even be mad if that happened to me 😂 just started playing the game today . First match player backed out , won my 2nd match then faced someone with a broken “pendulum” deck. Starting to realize the many broken possibilities there can be . Not mad at it though as this game requires your own knowledge of cards and picking the right ones it’s fun and something different

the other day i literally lost to a turn 1 on turn 1 exodia deck. The dude legit was constantly drawing and sacrificing cards and getting them back from the grave he milled his entire deck to pull exodia to win.
Sam here acting like he did something spectacular, had to go through the entire deck to get exodia. The real mvp is the guy having to witness all of this
it can brick real hard and if it bricks your opponent wins the game pretty much since you dont really have good units on the screen or trap cards etc to stop attacks
Personally i like running 3 magical mallets over the pseudo space. Pseudo space and terraforming in this only act to mill, while magical mallet is a 3 time, instant hand brick reset thatll either, if youre lucky enough, net you the Exodia pieces (happened a couple times, is glorious) or give you a couple more milling options instead of sitting on a couple of BEWDs and libraries that you cant do anything with. Mallets just too good to pass up IMO.
Send list! I've seen people playing the gift spell variant with neo space cards (can send them to grave with their draw spell and resummun them all with Nxt(nzt?) Then use gift to draw 5). Not sure which exodia variant is the best.
@@Direwarlord213 Mines pretty much the same as TSX's, except swapped the Pseudo Spaces for Mallets and the Terraforming for a Pot of Duality. Could run another Card of Consonance or if willingly to be risky, fit in 1-3 Into the Void somewhere.

I was using this deck while watching the vid and in the first fight he played he summoned exodia as soon as I did, the other guy was also useing this deck so we were fighting who had the best luck, he had to end phase bc his hand was bricked with blue eyes
Winning turn 1 or 2 IS the usual boring meta nonsense. This is why yugioh is so mechanically bad and broken. There's no gameplay to be had anymore. Copy a deck and let it play itself while you sit there...

But the first time I would see this I would laugh and appreciate how skilled/creative my opponent would have to be to put this together. It's really cool to come up with a strategy to consistently bring out exodia and would much rather watch this than another boring combo heavy OTK deck like dragon link, dritron, or Tri brigade.

tbh without library monster in first turn u will have a pretty gud chance of failing. So i kinda agree to add magical mallets

Love the build tried it out my self it's really hit or miss on open hand but when it does hit it does exactly what it needs to.

"god tier" meanwhile this exact deck literally bricks EVERY single time I try to use it. out of like 10 games it bricked every single time.
Just finished Solo mode now I'm grinding rank with "Darklords" currently gold this game is awesome. The only negative I have to say is some of the decks you're forced to play with are bugged, effects won't work, but that's it.
I played blue eyes deck and some effects not properly working.

Returning from not playing since lob playground stuff and I picked bird up too. Its pretty fun though I cant pilot it perfectly yet >< eldlich is almost an autoloss for my list haha need to fine tune still :D I hope you get all the cards you need!

Got to gold rank 4 so far with my Exodia deck! Heavy turtling and using Blue Dragon Summoners & Legion Fiend Jesters with Wonder Wands for major draw power, Sangans for Exodias head, any piece of Exodia or the spellcasters if needed. Dark holes, Obnoxious Celtic Guard and other defensives to get me through. The only majorly bad match ups so far have been against OTK 10 minute long Links/Pendulum decks
AKA against the decks that suck the fun out of the game.
Pretty much why my group have all agreed that were just going to play enough to each get the gems together for us all to just make gen 1 decks and play out our childhoods with classic, cuz this new stuff is just overly convoluted and stupid.

Goes against the solitaire nature of modern yugioh.
Honestly I think 200 seconds wouldn’t be that big of an ask, but it would just nerf fragile combo decks and give people less of a chance by forcing people to play optimal control strategies

@@ayoubmarraha471 pretty much, one day of peace and chicken game may save you 1-2 turns but if they destroy chicken game, which the opponent is able to use which is crazy, then your going to take major damage.

Starting to realize the many broken possibilities there can be . Not mad at it though as this game requires your own knowledge of cards and picking the right ones it’s fun and something different

the other day i literally lost to a turn 1 on turn 1 exodia deck. The dude legit was constantly drawing and sacrificing cards and getting them back from the grave he milled his entire deck to pull exodia to win.
Sam here acting like he did something spectacular, had to go through the entire deck to get exodia. The real mvp is the guy having to witness all of this

it can brick real hard and if it bricks your opponent wins the game pretty much since you dont really have good units on the screen or trap cards etc to stop attacks

Personally i like running 3 magical mallets over the pseudo space. Pseudo space and terraforming in this only act to mill, while magical mallet is a 3 time, instant hand brick reset thatll either, if youre lucky enough, net you the Exodia pieces (happened a couple times, is glorious) or give you a couple more milling options instead of sitting on a couple of BEWDs and libraries that you cant do anything with. Mallets just too good to pass up IMO.
Send list! I've seen people playing the gift spell variant with neo space cards (can send them to grave with their draw spell and resummun them all with Nxt(nzt?) Then use gift to draw 5). Not sure which exodia variant is the best.
@@Direwarlord213 Mines pretty much the same as TSX's, except swapped the Pseudo Spaces for Mallets and the Terraforming for a Pot of Duality. Could run another Card of Consonance or if willingly to be risky, fit in 1-3 Into the Void somewhere.

Winning turn 1 or 2 IS the usual boring meta nonsense. This is why yugioh is so mechanically bad and broken. There's no gameplay to be had anymore. Copy a deck and let it play itself while you sit there...

@@JamaicanJoker I'll admit that if this was something I kept experiencing over time I would get sick of it. But the first time I would see this I would laugh and appreciate how skilled/creative my opponent would have to be to put this together. It's really cool to come up with a strategy to consistently bring out exodia and would much rather watch this than another boring combo heavy OTK deck like dragon link, dritron, or Tri brigade.
