- The musicians from Fairveiw Church
Earl mandolin, Kathy bass, Garion lead vocal and rhythm guitar,
Kevin dobro, and Ronnie lead guitar.
Fairveiw Church is the epitome of this song. It has been there since 1892 high on a hill called Hickory Ridge which is close to the Crowley Ridge formation in Missouri. It is located on an old pioneer road that was called the Bloomfield Road.
Here is a video (and a group) I would like to share with my viewers.

Oh yeah, they are good. I have subscribed to them. Do you know where they are located? They do not say on their page.
@@andronikostheophilos Best I can figure they are from the Norwood, Missouri area because I saw a video where the church where they were singing was pastored by Reg Kelly. Could be wrong though. I ought to just ask, but I hate to.
@@earlelfrink OK. That is right next door to Mountain Grove. Both towns are not that far just Southwest of the South gate to Fort Leonard Wood. I live just North of FLW.
@@earlelfrink ua-cam.com/video/Pgm1wgbWyQ8/v-deo.html Looks like Missouri woods (where I live) in this video.
I wish I had a fraction of the talent these folks have. I seriously love these old hymns and songs. Thank you SO MUCH of sharing. Now if only I could get notifications.... God bless all of you!
That Ole Church is Special, with the Lords Presence and Gods People the Church Worshiping together and Praising His Name JESUS

I like it because it defines our little hillbilly church.
When I left the shop a few minutes ago, old Pipsqueak was having a good time entertaining a mouse who was unfortunate enough to venture into the building. Eh, on second thought it might be that the mouse was entertaining Pipsqueak.
WOW some new actors the preacher doing ten-nor and lead guitar and doing a fine job, love that second break Mr Earl tell me where this song came from. My kind of music i wish i could play with you folks.
Thank you for the comment Brother Tony! Following is the link to the video where I got the words to this song. He even gives a history of the song....It fit us so well that I just had to add it to our list of songs. ua-cam.com/video/F27ytutPmEA/v-deo.html
Very cool! Great pickin’! Let’s hear the dobro pick a solo too 😎
Thank you! Yes, my regret is not capturing the dobro. Next session we will not let it slip by.
Nice!👍👍❤❤You posted early!
Yes, thought I would change it up a little by scheduling 15 minutes early.
