    Yeah, it's a long one but filled with knowledge and examples. Just remember, there are many ways to "trade price action/ market structure". Feel free to use whatever type of indicators, candlestick patterns, COT reports or whatever.... What's important is that you manage risk, remain consistent, journal, review, and adapt. ... Let's bake!

    Another thing I wanted to mentioned here as I'm replying to my social media questions is that I see too many people trading OLD zones. I see too many people trading 5minute trade setups that were created 48 hours ago.... This is the same for traders taking a 1hr entry going based off of an entry setup that was created 5 days ago... it's a completely different market condition + different types of traders are now involved.
    If I'm trading my 5minute confirmation then that 5minute confirmation trade setup was created over the last 12hours MAX. If I plan entering a 1minute trade then I'm not entering that trade if it takes 6hours or more to fill me. 1 hr MAX 48 hours......
    Let me know if you guys understand.

    Been watching your channel for a few years now, 4 to be exact, and one thing recently that has started to help out tremendously is "the trend is your friend until the bend at the end" in conjunction with the fact the price turns around "inside out". So before I enter, i want to see price start bending and turning inside out on the 1min, then the 5. Good stuff.

      Yes, every setup has that "confirmation" setup. It 100% required in all my setups and having the ability to determine a setup over a poor setup is KEY! Thanks for watching.

    Im 25 mins in and have seen thousand of people talking about charts, i havent heard opening range, initial balance sessions timings, closing price, howeek, hoday, loday, loweek, cash and equity hours and news catalysts, buying and selling using institutional liquidity moves from ranging from instituitional points..i want to listen to this the whole way through but its become very apprent these are major factors that induce volatility and patterns that increase the probability a move is inbound or is setting up to action on key timings.. much respect for making the time to make this vid but i think these are imperatives for speaking about trading potentials that cannot be ignored when referencing this topic..

      yeah, I agree but keep in mind the odds of a trader retaining all that information is nearly 0%. This is why I was not a fan of making this video because there are 100x other topics that are just as important to a trader's success. Some traders value other metrics more than other traders value others. There is no "BEST" or "YOU NEED" to use this metric. Thaks for sharing.

    Just stumbled across your videos, it got some good information. What will be the key component trading sessions, if we are intraday / scalpers.
    1. Time (killzones)?
    2. If supply or demand created in the seassion, will be the entry confirmation?
    3. Trading London doesnt always give the demand or supply that you explain so how will explain setups during these sessions.
    4. And if scalping, if price enters the 15min Supply, will the 1 min demand need to break to confirm the entry
    Just interesting to hear your view. Great video!

    • @MoneyballAustin
      @MoneyballAustin  4 місяці тому +1

      1) not 100% sure what you mean by "kill zones" so I might need a bit more information on that.
      2) Once again, not 100% sure what you mean so I might need a bit more information on that.
      3) I disagree, I talk to traders every day who trade the London session and they do fine. The problem is not the London but rather the traders knowledge in the system. I guess if you trade the "US500" yes maybe but that's because the US500 is a US-traded asset.
      4) Yes, you could use the 15minute but might be difficult because of the timeframe sequence not large enough. I would consider 30/1hr/4hr as the HTF and 1-5minutes for ETF but just don't use 4hr-1minute.

    Great video! (*helping with algo so more people see your amazing channel* 48:00)
    And quick question : for a demand zone to be a trade-able zone it must take out an opposing supply zone (or momentum TL, but that's clear to me), but does the opposing supply zone must also have been a trade-able zone ? In other words, if I have a demand zone that the move out of it only took out a supply zone (which the supply zone has not broken any momentum line nor a demand zone), is my demand zone valid?

    • @MoneyballAustin
      @MoneyballAustin  4 місяці тому +1

      no, the opposing zone being removed does not need to be a "trade-able zone". Sure, it would help but not needed.
      Thanks!

    • @MoneyballAustin
      @MoneyballAustin  4 місяці тому +2

      I recommend base to wick as that is more of the meat of the base + where the imbalance is located. If you youtbue "Moneyball austin ho two draw supply - demand zones" that should help. Feel free to send me a message on SM.

      1) fail to identify quality setups. (review your journaled trades). If you trade S/D then send me a message and I can give you a sheet to review.
      2) Poor Risk Management/ Poor trade management.. You risk too much per trade making emotional decisions in the trade management.
      Keep in mind it's hard to fully fix this issue over the comment section but the bottom line it's 1-2 of those things.

    Knowing the market/trading is one but teaching it to a beginner is a whole different animal ‼️ I'm 23min in and I'm completely lost ..you should focus on swings first in its own video and then day trading and then TA and then SA ect just some feedback.. also cut out all of the junk about what other youtubers/traders do and how wrong they are its just unnecessary.

    • @MoneyballAustin
      @MoneyballAustin  4 місяці тому +3

      yeah, especially on a topic like this where there are not just 2-3 things you need to consider but rather 20x that should be registered into the trader's brain.
      Now how do you tell a new trader to trade this? you cant....it goes straight over the new trader's head. It's like teaching physics 1, 2, 3 all at the same time when they need to learn 1 first to learn 2.
      The problem Is most retail traders are stupid and lazy. They must understand there is no "best way" or "you only need to do this". Traders constantly changing how they trade and they need to understand the pros/cons of each way. But telling new traders the 3x ways with pros and cons only confuses them because 99% of the people watching want to be told only 1 way of thinking when they need to learn them all.
      This is the main problem with videos like this and why I plan on breaking future topics like this up.
