I've made my own calls for many years with great success, but I have purchased a couple of Dave's calls and I must say they make those subtle sounds that I have struggled with on my own calls. Grey Ghost is my favorite.
So I'm fixin to go turkey hunting for the first time ever this weekend here in Florida and maaan I can't tell you how helpful listening to Mr Dave calling. Absolutely opened my eyes to some things I need to "try" to do lol. Fantastic

Great Video guys. I got a lot out of this. The biggest thing is reading a gobble by the location of the bird. I have no idea why I never thought about that, their frequency and location of the gobble tells you a lot. I just never thought about it. Thanks.

Older video I just watched. Our stile of hunting is exactly like this - big woods of public ground in ozark hills. Only difference is we hunt the same tract every year, thousands of acres to roam. This last spring was our group’s 40th year of hunting the “big woods”. We hunt aggressive and use terrain to get as close as possible.

Water is really high around Arkabutla lake Desoto/ Tate county ! Turkeys are gonna be pushed up on the high ground .making access hard for the average hunter ,but it should make it better , in my opinion .I've got a boat to get to some of the better places that shouldn't be touched , and would make great videos. 731-607-6627 shoot me a text or call when y'all are down and maybe we can fit in a hunt ! Great information. Every hunter chooses their style of hunting. I do hunt some out of a blind, specifically if I'm using my bow, but I prefer run and gun with the Versa Max. I do feel decoys get a bad reputation, however I have had some super exciting encounters using them. If I'm hunting a field edge, I'd take decoys over calls. Last year I set up with 30 minutes to go (noon closer in PA) and had left decoys up in field with my dad. Got bird to cover a long distance quickly. He came to 55 yards, could see through the hardwoods towards where he heard my calling and didn't see the hen. He got nervous and I missed him at 56 yards as he was getting out of dodge.
These guys will always be my go-to for turkey hunting tips and bucks in the fall. What's the latest with Gobbler Watch Aaron?

Good to know somebody else is getting tired of watching people fan turkeys in or using the mobodecoys. I've killed several with a fan though so I can't say much but I quit doing it few years ago. Just not the same.
