@@keith2860 never ever heard anything like that every part. Shaft, compressor and nut has own balance. When bolted together in different position or with any of them 3 parts changed it has to be balanced as CAHRA core unit again. As long as I'm in trade for over 20 years making custom turbos never heard about 1 turbo in the world to be as you said with no need to be balanced when dismantled.
My bad i meant to type wheel not Turbo, at least that’s how the manufacturer advertises the wheel. Probably sounds like heresy to you if you regularly build turbos though. As a diesel/equipment field mechanic I think that advertisement sounds good to me lol i personally never had a problem.
Nice job on the turbo. Edsel ???? Sounds interesting
Thank you. I have 04 Cummins very good video
On my 6.7 do I have to take the whole turbo out? Because im not to confident I could do that myself
Did it change the sound of the turbo ??
I didn't notice a change
Serious Question can’t you just undo the front clamp to pull it out and the waist gate rod I have a 04 5.9 or do you have to remove the whole turbo
I believe you can but this was the first and only one I have done but it does run well
You can remove the front housing on the truck
You must be taking a piss now😳 You can't just swap compressor wheel without later rebalancing the turbo 🤣😂
The Wheels are already balanced that’s what those little cuts and grooves in the wheel are. No post balancing is required for these turbos.

I was Not knocking on you, i respect you doing it by the books.
They sell thousands of these wheels and I bet not a one was rebalanced.
