Sapphire bolts (e) with RCB is very helpful. 2 hit the soul split phase. Dhide and mystic clear. Thanks for helping me get my quest cape back. Had it for a damn week lol
A tip for if you plan to do another quest guide. Don't skip 90% of the dialog, or jump out of nowhere, plus stating the gear you need for the entire quest would be helpful too

So confused. before final fight you showed mage/range switch and then when fighting it looked like most of your inven was already gone and you were only ranging?
Not a terrible guide, my only suggestion is to not cut the npc dialogue, maybe instead fast forward throughout it. There are instances in which those are very helpful in ensuring we didn't miss something. Also in the gear list for the second boss you had a melee weapon but fought him using a blowpipe?
Considering it's a quick guide right after the quest came out its not bad but instructions were wonky sometimes. I was trying to follow your words while not watching video since im in game and things didn't line up. "Run straight south and he's there" when in reality its "take the western path and then head south". Clean up little things like that and slow tf down and you'd be good to go!

these boss battles are so stale. they try so hard to do something different but they simply cannot. it's all the same non sense now. jagex desperately needs to hire new folks with fresh ideas.

Day of release guide with pre-recorded fights. Take the gear I recommend in the clip prior to the fight

the island u land on is the valve thats wrong. click wiki in the game and then click on sewer valve. itll explain all the extra details

I wonder if you can just tank the range hits and pray mage during the jad phase or if it hits super high.
Not much of a jad phase, primarily range attacks, but mage hits drastically harder it seems if you miss a prayer switch
@@BubbaOSRS that's kind of what I was wondering. Like if you had tank range gear you could probably camp pray mage and focus DPS and get the KC.
I fucked up every single mage hit and I still got it in one attempt, probs more punishing on the post-quest version of the fight

pretty easy boss. managed to do it with 60 range and shit gear
The worst part is having awful dps at the end as he fills the whole arena with spikes
That phase is going to be a big separator when it comes to gear & DPS
