I like to think yukari runs in for the all out and then just starts bashing the shadows with her bow
I can't put my finger on exactly why, I feel the characters here are more representative of what they tried to be in the OG:
- Shuji, the chairman, feels more distant rather than a nerd
- Mitsuru feels more bossy rather than "the parent" of the group
- Akihiko feels more c0cky rather than the happy-trigger bro
- Yukari is the one who I feel changed the most. She feels way more empathetic rather than toxic
Not exactly good or bad changes, just hit different now IMO. Their personalities traits were important to what P3 was
i feel the same way, i'm interested to see how these different takes on the characters impact their arcs/writing going forward (specifically yukari)
Ikutsuki feels the most different for me, but 100% because of his voice, he sounded like the friendly neighbour in the og, here he sounds proffesional
But I can't say I feel differences with the other characters, the dialogue is the same
Have to say some people dont like Akihikos voice, but I think it sells his veterancy in the group well. Outside of combat he sounds confident and professional, but the more intense combat gets he sounds like hes having the time of his life with the current rush of the moment. Really hes like his borderline insane limit pushing self.

I got to tarturas last night myself. Looks great. Definitely an improvement. I just hope that at least some of the many repeating floors within each section of the tower have unique differences, instead of each room looking the same
Can't wait to see how the last area looks like here, the original had those floating swirls in the sky at battles, it looked so pretty

Exp is great ,since mc need strong presona ,he need to be on appropriate level. But I argue that money actually slightly more important,since equipment and persona fusion cost money. Especially in the beginning we doesn't have a lot of money.
Meh, maybe on the beginning yes, but you already get stupid amounts of money from chests, at least in the original

As far as I'm aware of, it hasn't been confirmed if the dark hour only affects Tatsumi Port Island or the entire world
I mean, it definitely doesn't effect JUST the port island, since the dorm and many other places in the game we see influenced are across the shore.

In a later line of dialogue from Yukari one night in Yakushima, she mentions the fact that it "doesn't matter where you are when the dark hour comes", so I guess it affects the entire world. And I think I remember Mitsuru talking about the fact that the accident 10 years ago "changed the structure of the entire world" or something along those lines.

Also I'm assuming that since the Fall will lead to the extinction of mankind, the dark hour must have an effect everywhere.

Genuine question about the Persona games, are the different games different dimensions, Timeliness? Like what's up with the dark hour of this game, Phantom Theives of Hearts of 5, and the television world of 4?
They are in the same universe but they don't happen at the same time. Each of the places that you wrote were created by different gods

It's the same universe. Just some time passes between games. In p4g you can see Justice social link girl on school trip. And in p5 you can see Rise on TV, posters and talks, but she is in her 20s

I’m having a hard time deciding what to get. Gran blue or persona 3. Sure I played persona 5 but I think i just like p5 style mostly and characters. I wouldn’t say I’m a die hard fan of the series at all. But I also like the open world of gran blue but never played it before. I do like story based games and games that give you options. Is granblue like that or not? I like having options and characters to choose from. And customization isn’t a big deal to me. Mostly just combat stuff.
yukari seems nicer here. i've only ever played spinoff games and i've seen the anime, and i remember i couldn't really stand her character. but she seems nicer in this version.
Granted it's been awhile since I've seen anything of Persona 3 FES but Yukari never came across as a mean girl to me, not during the base game anyway. The Answer is where her more unpleasant aspects were emphasized. Could also be a va thing, I love me Michelle Ruff(the original English va and a host of other characters) but she isn't as... soft isn't quite the word but she's a bit rougher(pun not intended) voice wise then the new va.

The reason Ikutsuki betrayed SEES was because no one liked his jokes

What about the older games getting the Reload treatment? I'd be nice to have good versions of P1 and P2/P2two, that people can actually find, buy, and play. They're almost lost media at this point, especially in the west.

I play the persona games mostly for the social links and the things you can do around town. I mean, there’s only so much turn based fighting you can do before you get bored right?
I love how they removed the Stamina system- and replace it with something more wholesome and more interactions. So yeah. And you can marathon it and grind your frineds ans much as you want. ovo

It is NOT a spoiler, as it was not really explained in the game, at least directly.
But Dark Hour work in a way that people are teleported into Expanse/Metaverse for a hour each day.
School was build in place where Nanjo Group Lab was located, what was destroyed in 1999, during incydent (Persona 2).
Despite destruction of main lab, a underground facility is still operational. Effect is only limited to close area.
Shuji Ikutsuki work for Kirijo Group, who taken over lab and he absolutely know everything. If it is not obvious enough.

It's true that normal attacks can do good damage, but obviously you don't get a ONCE MORE very often doing that. so you have to choose your times to use it.
The most practical use the strong basic attacks have is when you consider you only need one enemy to do an All Out Attack against to get guaranteed Shuffle Time, so if you can save more SP killing the other targets without One Mores than the extra damage you might take will cost to heal off eventually, it's worth it. Plus, for the enemies that don't have any elemental weaknesses, as you kinda already alluded to, since some have physical weaknesses instead when they aren't just devoid of weakness.
shuffle time is probably a lot more important late game, so yeah make sure you get your all out attacks.@@Shalakor

Unpopular Opinion but I still prefer Igor's old voice in persona 5,even though it was really a wrathful false godlike deity that was bent on enslaving everyone and controlling the whole world.

A lot of the time it just tends to depend which games in a series or version of a game you played first.

I think you should probably focus down TGAAC 2 since its almost complete and then move on to playing P3R & Infinite Wealth together since IW isn't that long and you've played P3 a billion times now so it won't take you as much time to prepare vids on it. That's my opinion anyway.
