If you want to get the Chidori Secret Cutscene, you have to unlock Junpei Linked Episode 3 on 11/7. After that, on the next day 11/8, you have to buy white flowers at Port Island Station and give to Junpei at night

In Arena Ultimax, Junpei's introductory cutscene has him dream about proposing to Chidori. It was also stated by developers at Atlus on their old online talk show that the necklace Junpei wears in the game was gift from Chidori.

@user-ls1qc8hg2s I am unsure how to answer that. But I don't believe it was Zeno who was going on about that. As I mean, he's played mostly different racial spectrums.
I prefer Chidori’s reload voice because in this one she sounds like a depressed teenage girl, while in the original she sounds like a polite old lady.
I really love the new cast, the only one I was really attached to was vic mignogna but rhe new guy is really good. Everyone else is as good or a vast improvement

Yukari's comment at the start about how Junpei acts like everyone's best friend is actually a hint of one of Junpei's great strengths. Despite all his flaws and insecurites, he's great at making connections to new people. He's good at making people open up to him and he makes friends easily, even your other social links in class 2-F, Kenji and Kazushi, is friendly with our resident goofball with how he interacts with them in the cultural festival cleanup. For someone like Chidori who is afraid to get close to people, no one else is better at getting her to open up and get close to her than the Ace Detective host of Believe It or Don't himself, Junpei 'Da Man' Iori.
And by P4 Arena Ultimax (spoilers)
Junpei coaches a baseball team and that one moment with one of his key players, Gorou, asked a question regarding Junpei's love life... and Junpei wanted the boy to not miss the chance to set things right with a girl Gorou likes.
Junpei ends it with: If you get a hit, you'll be a hero. U gonna go for a grand slam?
Yukari is ass.
I like that they kept Medea fusing with Hermes to form Trismegistus just like in P3P. It gives more meaning to her promise to protect him
What was it like in the original P3?

This is on the list of one of the most realistic romances in video gaming. Sometimes it starts with just a simple hello and than a conversation with a random stranger. That’s why you put yourself out there.
I'm genuinely happy that Junpei got the girl, he deserved it in my opinion. He usually acts like a total creep and tries being desperate, but he's nothing like that with Chidori. He's curious about her, has the balls to approach her first, chill whenever he talks to her, and he cares about her a lot. He is THE textbook example of a boy in love. He deserved to get the girl.
Honestly, Junpei's S-Link in Portable is underrated. All the horny teenage feelings are only skin deep with him.
I also like even Femc version can't romance him. He's a buddy for mc

One problem i have with Persona games is that all girls feel like they exist to be a part of the MC’s harem and no other guy ever gets romance. Yosuke, Ryuji, no one… BUT NOT JUNPEI, my guy actually dodges that fate and i am so glad. More persona games need relationships that doesn’t involve the MC
If we go by technical terms, Morgana is the Magician rep. But yeah, Ryuji is the P5 Hero's right-hand man in that case.

It's never officially confirmed, but it's heavily implied that Kanji and Naoto from Persona 4 like each other and get together at some point.
@@kingcamelot1395 even if this were to be true it is extremely undermined by the game letting you hard romance Naoto. Just look at the reverse, even in the FMC route you cannot romance Junpei as far as i know
Fun Fact: P4 Ultimax also confirms that Chidori is alive (specifically the necklace that Junpei wears in game is a gift from her)

Well she survived in pretty much every piece of persona fiction ( FES, portable, reload, P4 arena ultimate, P3 manga) except for OG P3 so I think it is safe to say that reviving her is canon.
Morgana seemed pretty happy at the end of P5's story.

I think he has a special line if you have him in your party for takaya's fight (I don't remember exactly what it was, but I remember hearing it along bc I couldn't figure out takaya's gimmick for the life of me)

I remember this whole Chidori subplot was super sad when I first played in P3F but they found a way to make it even sadder here. When Junpei held Chidori in his arms while she was dying I literally started tearing up, it was so beautifully tragic.

didn't know that it was a secret ending I thought it was completely normal to buy bro his white flowers, I was in shock to see her alive I honestly love the idea of chidori dying but Junpei deserved this and I'm happy they decided to bring her back.
I loved these two so much in the original and I still do. Junpei is still my favorite character in the entire series.
When I played P3 PSP it was so heartful and so good before, it is so heartful and good here too.
Though I am a bit disappointed they didnt add new scene for both of them after that.

Well, in persona 4 arena ultimate ( events of that game happened years after P3) he was daydreaming about proposing to her, said he cant make her worry about him again when he fought shadows and is wearing a gift from her (cross necklace) so yeah, it is heavily imlplied that they are dating.

I'm sort of half and half on the secret ending. Damn did her death give so much more gravity to Junpei's character and the story all the way until you finally properly get your hands on Takaya. But this ending is sweet, still actually works and makes sense in how she came back to life. I haven't played the secret ending part of this, but I think where it sort of hurts the story is I don't think Junpei really brings her up again after this, there is no further interaction with them. So it 'feels' sort of tacked in there.

I don't deny that he is an astonishingly talented VA, however the lengths he has gone to try and reverse the consequences he deserved for his actions is just sad. We as individuals who grew up with him voicing our favorite characters now need to deal with the cognitive dissonance surrounding his situation, and it's turned into a cycle putting people down over what is true regarding his situation. It's so much wasted energy. If he is knowingly stringing along people, that's what makes the situation so much worse and why I just cannot feel the way I did before anymore when I heard his voice bring life to such iconic characters.
Please don't misconstrue this to mean "I hate Vic Supporters". It's more of a general I just wish people were more willing to face themselves and do the hard work it takes to own up to what they do wrong. As far as I know, it was partially acknowledged by him on twitter for some of the stuff.

@@nekogamer2508 he was accused of sexual harassment of coworkers and fans, although there was never any evidence beyond witness testimony. None of the people accusing him ever actually pressed charges as far as I know and he has failed to prove that their statements were purposefully meant to defame him despite multiple attempts. As far as I know the only things he has admit to doing is having an affair with a coworker and hugging fans without expressed permission, and I might be wrong, but it’s possible that the hugging situation was actually kisses on the cheek, though my memory is a little fuzzy on that specific note.

After his demise you can visit his room and get some ending to his link episodes
P3P FeMC can save Shinji. Pretty sure its a canon event on any other occasion.
Thing is even in the original you could save Chidori, in OG you just had to push Junpei to go see her every time the option was given, so this isn't neccesaraly "new", however the is no way to save Shinji, as he was never intended to survive hence how he was represented at the end of the story. That's why some people, incuding me, didn't like that P3P gave female MC the option to save him, his death sucks and hurts I agree, but given the moral of this game, as well as what his death meant for Akihiko and Ken, it's just an example of someone who just had to die, sad as that may be.

I thought it was a neat hidden ending to the story. But her dying had so much more impact and made so much more sense in the flow of the story. After you see this ending, you never see or even hear about Chidori again. Which just makes it kind of odd.

The argument cutscene on 11/6 occurred in my playthrough but the next day 11/7, there is no option or ‼️ in Junpei’s head for me to hang out with him. Did I miss anything??? Please help

If you bought the white flower for Junpei while the prompt 'maybe I can give him something...' was still active and triggered the cutscene, you will trigger Chidori's revival.

Encouraging a friend(Junpei) to go to the hospital.
Don't worry friend, Chidori dying is a better ending, since he appreciates life better by having to overcome the death of a person he loves.
That's why he decides to live each day the best he can, enjoying those moments, since Chidori couldn't.
As a sucker for happy ending I like this because: YES! CHIDORI LIVES! FUCH YEAH!!
But from a poetic and thematic point of view, I don't like this for two reasons:
- Her death is what completed Jumpei's character arc, and her surviving just undermines that.
- Same as P5 theme is "Justice" and P4 theme is "Truth", I believe the overarching theme of P3 is "Death", the permanency and inevitability of it. Her reviving is a way of saying that Death is neither permanent nor inevitable, which I believe is simply untrue.
But, then again, as a sucker for happy ending I say: FUCK YEAH! JUMPEI x CHIDORI FOREVER!

when I saw Secret end I almost thought that they might've finally given us a satisfying end to this story after how they ended it in the original like after some of the credits they might've shown them reuniting or something but they just copied the originals ending
