Yorkmaster227 Based on sakurai listening to the fan outcry of all the things in smash ultimate he is clearly trying to satisfy the fans so I almost he knows lots of fans wanted subspace. So it might not be as big as the Wii version but still be in the game.

DuStii York that said, the Ridley trailer is clearly just that. For one, there's no way _any_ story mode in any Nintendo game would allow Mario to be brutally murdered.

KasLPKado that or do like they did with Game and Watch's Amiibo (remember how you could change out the model for him on the stand?) and have it where you can choose to equip Squirtle, Ivysaur, and Charizard on the stand by the Pokémon Trainer. But it'd simply be an aesthetic since the digital chip would have to stay inside the stand and will likely have spots for all 3 Pokémon on it, and you could likely pick from a menu in the game which Pokémon to customize

And as likely as Ridley but we saw how that turned out.
Because Ridley only had a size issue, not a contract issue. Even if Square was cool with it, and I’m sure they would be, Nintendo would have to really sweet talk Disney. The problem is in comparison to everyone else in the roster, Sora is a really obscure video game character. And I say that as avid fan of the Kingdom Hearts series. And I would very much doubt Disney would take time out of their schedule to help plop a third party Disney character into a Nintendo fighting/party game. And Cloud does well enough on his own to represent Square’s presence in the Smash fighter roster.
KaioConnor yeah sure but Nintendo could work something out. After all, they got Snake back, and having Cloud would give it a better chance. Not saying we need Sora, but nothing is out of the realm of possibility. Except Waluigi RIP.

People think that goku will be the game and that will never happen again its just wishful thinking. I think the least that we could get is another street fighter character.

No. If you were paying attention sakurai has been going against things he said in the past just to satisfy fans (like Ridley fans) and make this the ultimate smash bros game and most appealing one too. So isn't out of the realm of possibility this time around. Sakurai is listening to fans for this smash bros game because most of the mechanics, newcomers were asked by competitive players or just fans in general. Also Ridley was greatly demanded in the past besides him who also was greatly demanded? King k. rool, banjo and kazooie and Goku. Which two of these have the longest fan outcry Goku and Kings k. Rool. Sakurai probably wants to retire so he possibly might add goku just shut them up like he did with Ridley because people kept saying why he should be In like b.j Goku fans.

However, you don't understand that there's a HUGE difference between Ridley and Goku, Ridley is a *game* character who is being included in a fighting game of characters who come from other *games*.
Goku is an *anime* character who comes from a *manga*, yes he has games and some of them are cool but he is still an anime character obviously, and that alone would be like putting meat on a basket of fruits.
Also, you don't need to be rude to other people, SPECIALLY because these people clearly know the realm of possibility way better than you.
I am not saying Goku is a bad character or that I don't like him or Dragon Ball in general, far from it actually, but you have to know when something belongs in a certain group and when it doesn't.
You can believe Goku can still be added to Smash, I am no one to tell you that you shouldn't be yourself and believe whatever you want.
However, please just keep in mind that it's *more* likely that he won't be added for not being a character who was born from a game than the possibility of him actually being added in the game just because.
3rd party games can only get one fighter each franchise
I have heavy doubts on GOKU himself, but I can definitely see DB characters UNIQUE to games, Xenoverse, Fusions/Heroes, FighterZ, they have characters that meet the requirements, and for those against "they're an avatar" so are the Robins, and Corins, and they can pull a Villager/Inkling/Bowser Jr. to make different costumes. Hell we may even get a Namekian avatar. (If we count male and female, besides Namekian if they bring races, that's 7 "color" options) And the final smash HAS to be something that can apply to all of them. Or even pull a Smash4 Chrom, or Shulk and bring in Goku with the Spirit Bomb, kinda like Ness/Lucas, but one giant ball, or a cinematic attack. That's unlikely, but having Goku as part of a Final Smash ONLY wouldn't be breaking any "rules", or at least I don't think so and can make a loooot of people calm down.
Those are just my thoughts on what can work, I don't think Goku will be a fighter, or an assist trophy, but there can definitely be DB representation from the video game origin characters.

Ndukauba, I'd like your opinion on this thought if mine. I believe that this is the final Smash bros game from Masihiro Sakurai. He has stated that he wants to move beyond gaming, and I see no better way to leave your mark than an ultimate version of the fighting game series he created by bringing back every character every.
