- On January 12th, 2015 Tim Little broke the All-Tackle World Record Spotted Bass record on Bullards Bar Reservoir in California.

I caught a 16lb, 30" long largemouth bass out of lake Don Pedro in California about 20 years ago. It was a hell of a fight. Thought I snagged a tree until it started pulling back. I was fishing from the shore. Caught it on a bill dance fat white crankbait on 14lb trilene.
I wish I had a fishing buddy like you and Tim have. I'd do anything to have a friend like that. I'm so loyal and dependable and I just seem to meet flaky people. I look up to you and Tim and want to catch any big trophy bass. You guys have taught me so much. I hope I can make my goals happen from the bank fishing in one of the toughest bass fishing states.

The way you ~detail~ tell a story and the way Tim _under_ plays a story.... You guys are a great polar opposite team that obviously works. Yes it was his line and lure but he couldn't have done it without you. "Did WE just do it?" Well done. Congrats.
Okay this is very simple. When I want to know how to catch fish I watch you guys. I'll watch other videos to. When I want to know specifics I watch you guys. When I want to catch really big fish and have any questions, I watch you guys when I go to bed at night and think about catching fish, especially Bass, what do I do? I watch you guys. When I want the absolute details, I study you guys , you've taught me nearly everything. When I fustrated pissed off because of my mistakes there's only one thing left to do. Watch you guys
Gosh, to date and at random i'd bumped into one or two of your vids, and so knew objective quality when i saw it.
But not long into this one, well... rather than go on and on, i'll just offer a heartfelt thank you, for being willing to openly share your adventures in learning, with perfect strangers online.
Fifty-five intensely spent years of fishing later, i surely don't fish the same ways, or even with the same fire in my belly, but it's great to see the passion alive and well in others who appreciate the blessing of an angling life.
Where i live today (near DeepCreek Lake, MD) we have an extraordinary bluegill sunfish fishery. How can one not appreciate the rare combination of factors that taken together, can produce exceptional specimens of ANY species? Now these are fussy, plankton-grazing specimens, which routinely humble me during softwater season. My PB so far went 12.75", but fish clearing WELL over 13" are still out there.
While i've never been chiefly much less solely focused on any panfish species, and holding records is just not a personal priority, at this point in my fishing career i can't ignore the potential to at least pursue and maybe even capture something truly memorable while there is yet a window of opportunity. Not so much for sake of achieving the intended 'destination', but hopefully for learning new things all along the journey.

Awesome story! I just read that a couple months after this video was posted a new IGFA record spotted bass was caught on that lake. 11-4... Tim held the record for 2 years. The funny part of the story is that the guy that caught it was on a birthday fishing trip! What are the odds!?!?

Awesome guys! My boy and I are heading up to this lake and came across your post. I don’t even have a sonar but, hopefully with a little luck and looking at the structure leading into the lake we can catch something!
Good stuff guys - congrats! I'm in Nebraska and just got into this last year, but believe me that I dove in head first! I was lucky enough to catch what I think was a couple 5lb large-mouth bass (20.5") and one 6lb (21.5"), but only estimates as I didn't actually own a scale. Have one now, so my goal is just to hit that 5-6 lb mark this year and know for sure that it was real without a doubt! Was new enough to the sport that I didn't think to take clear pictures with the tape and/or make the right contacts to even get a master angler pin, but now I know and will be ready for the next one!

Keep up the good work ! After watching this channel for quite some time I got heavily into to swim bait fishing and it has changed my look at bass fishing completely ! I have caught a couple fish on the hudds and tons on glides but all of that is fueled from watching you videos. Caught some awesome fish and still hunting to break 12 lbs !

Thanks s year has been the best year for me catching two and three pound largemouths almost every weekend the bigesy was a four pound but I'm in Oklahoma city and just fish off the back and at ponds and creeks

Hell yeah best channel ever. You shouldn't tell what baits. Hell I wouldn't even say the lake. Especially if there is bigger in there! I believe in goals and that's what I do each year. Last year was all about muskies for me on my home lake. Never caught one before and I pushed hard for one last year. Almost sunk my boat it was raining so hard but the day cleared up and it was epic at the least. Caught 3, 40"+ muskies and 6 others we didn't get in. Got pictures and released. This year I'll have a GoPro and going for big bass.

I caught a 6lb large mouth when I was about 5 years old and now that I'm 21, I still have yet to beat that record, even though I've fished lakes that have big fish in them. I'm hoping to break that record this year. It'll be tough with college, but it's been looming over me for so long.
