  • I took my LX570/LC200 series to rattlesnake canyon near Big Bear and Joshua Tree in the middle of a tropical storm as a result of Hurricane Hilary, which hit Southern California on 8/20/2023. Although it was an easy/intermediate trail, the flash floods made it quite intimidating by the unpredictable nature of flood formation. However, the LX570 handled it well and I made it out safely.
    Driving through valleys under a storm is risky; make sure to always have some backup plans
