LOL Jurassic Park. I had a good laugh about the T-Rex. Matilda works with the M but it also works with T. Moody, Mildred, Tater, and Tilly (short for Matilda). She's so sweet.
If they called Tator, Mator she wouldn't know the difference.

Matilda is a fitting name for a beautiful calf. I'm mesmerized by her long thick coat. I'll be happy when Dr. D can look at that leg. The knee looks so enlarged that I can't help wondering if it is painful for her. Also, there's a lot of strain on her right front leg because it is taking all her weight. In the meantime, Matilda looks settled and content. Thank you for rescuing her and sharing her journey with us.
As new animals arrive , they all seem to realize they are special. They are home!!! Such great love both ways. ❤

Matilda (Mighty in Battle) is a perfect name for this precious baby! I laughed out loud when Brooke was measuring out the new feed, it was like she had opened up a bag of chips. Every baby headed to the barn, “Uh oh, did y’all hear that. I think momma just opened up a bag of chips…let’s go see!” Gotta love those babies! Sending love and big hugs ❤🤗

Yes it is. Most people think the Matilda in the song is a girl but it's not at all. It's a swag (bundle of belongings) carried on the back.

Thanks for sharing about the speed of Holly and the attentive way she listens to Jason...an amazing animal is Holly. the cute cow, Matilda, seems very comfortable with the goats and even with Honey and Jessie...glad Dr D suggested her feed and she has started on it. Hope Dr D can fix her leg so she can walk normal in future. God bless!
The cows leg can be repaired, per my wife who is a rural DVM. The key is to not let the leg get too developed. So some time restraints are in place.

Sweet, Matilda is doing great. She is precious. I guess she was showing the goats 🐐 who was boss. I love her Moooooo. What a perfect fit for the farm. Especially because it's her 4th home, poor girl. Now, she will get loving for the rest of her sweet life.

Jason put a clear tube from the bottom up through the tree and then use a funnel in the tube to add water. You shouldn't notice the tube if placed right and it can remain through the season
Now you've done it. Another cow. Matilda has stolen my heart. What a beautiful calf. She is doing well with the other animals in her pasture. Moody and Mildred made me laugh. They will end up being best friends for sure.
