Wow I can’t believe it’s dark there at 4:30. I live in Arizona and we stay on the same time year round. We changed the clocks in South Carolina but it was dark early but not 4:30. It makes it inconvenient for your evening feeding.
Might want to get tarps for the sides of your hay shelter. Nothing air-tight, of course. Fix it so you can roll them down -- similar to your greenhouse sides -- just to keep rain from blowing in.
It kinda looked like Holly wanted to join in to me?! Gosh I just love seeing how you’re her human. So glad that you got the bales puzzle figured out! I never had a doubt! ❤
That's 3 very content and loved bovine! They obviously appear so vastly different but their individual demeanor is so similar. The common denominator is Cog Hill Farm. A loving, safe home makes such a difference. Without exception every feathered or furry member of the Cog Hill Farm family has such a sweet, loving personality - a true reflection of the human residents. Watching this channel is relaxing in addition to being informative and entertaining..
Ha! I loved Holly looking at Jason dancing as if to say you dancing again daddy. Good job with the bay guys. A hard day but you got all you need for over winter. 🕺🕺
Your putting the bales on the pallets, to keep the hay off the ground, so that they don't get wet on the bottom, and mold. I was taught that years ago, when we cut our first crop of hay, and the hay bales on the bottom had gotten wet, and were moldy. We put on sheets of plywood for our second cut. Holly is a very beautiful fur baby. Shake it but don't break it Jason 😂. That was a very good dancing. Have a great day my friends ❤️🙂⚘️🚜.
My friend who came with me to the meet and greet last year (like you could remember) and I took a ride through the Smokies and country roads last week. We saw fields full of round hay bales. The grass must'uve been THICK because they were so close together and abundant! Beautiful, God is taking care of his animals! Like you we've had very little rain here in East Tennessee. That hay dance was the perfect Than You and should take care of next years crop! The Man With the Moves! Wish I could do that.😼😁
🤣Jason you are a excellent dancer. You do the moon dance good even with heavy boots on. Glad you have your hay ready for the winter. It's one less thing to be concerned about. You both work good together. I love you guys. ❤❤❤
Gosh i am sorry but i got really distracted by the clouds in this video i dont know why but they looked so lovely❤ happy day everyone ❤ to cog hill farm
My pet pig when she was around 1 years old developed food aggression it was dangerous she would knock me to the ground and attack it is dangerous for you and the other animals I learned to just leave the food move away real fast and not go near her feeding place ever❤😂😂
I had to giggle at the cows lined up by size, waiting for the gate to open.😅 By the way, I really like the musical and beautiful open shots to your videos lately.
Glad you got the hay bales under the carport and in the garage. Peaches is so beautiful. Tater seems to love her new home. Loretta and Gus loved the watermelon.
You said you decided to make a larger barn via recommendations of farmers, and I see why! What a great set-up you have there! I'm hoping Mildred isn't a bit out of sorts since Moody has a new friend who follows him. Tater took to Moody immediately. 🐄🐮🐄 And...I'm sending love and prayers to Brooke and Jason...actually, all of you. 😇🤠😶🌫
Jason I love that you all have the barn, that keep your babies safe behind gates and that protects them during the nighttime. Speck to Lester to up his game, I felt bad for them. ⚡️
Good morning Brooke and Jason, yes what are you doing today? Well that structure should help keep the hay dry and with the pallets it wont suck moisture from the ground, anything is better than nothing.👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
I do love the start of your videos these days. I finish a stressful day of work and make a cuppa to sit down and watch my daily Cog Hill. With the new gentle intro's. I can feel my body and mind instantly de-stress and relax. Thank you for everything you do to make our days happier. Moody, Mildred and Tater make me smile every time I see them. Dont matter how old Moody gets, he still gives you that sweet little boy look. Love you all so much. xxx
Difference between "horse" hay and "cow" hay as I understand it (horse owner) is the way they are stored after bailing- horse hay is stored covered, and cow hay can be left in the field. Cows have multiple stomachs so they can digest hay that has been exposed to the elements and is developing mold. Horses cannot, so their hay needs to be stored out of the weather, or if just lightly moldy on a round bale, you can peel it off and give them the rest of the bale.
Rats, chipmunks, possums and racoons nesting galore, oh my!! Cats and the guard dogs will have fun! At least round bales aren't as prone to nest IN the hay!
So glad yal got hay for the winter, they sure had the hay there if for any reason you run out just maybe that person will still have some for you. Jason you was right you got 10 bales under there, and I half to say you have some move dance.
don't take this the wrong way I never miss a live or a video, but this video was formatted in a way that I couldn't look away from it. I didn't multitask through any of it I go for it yearly myself but this was so entertaining I just loved it. The cherry on top was Jason dancing wish I could rate it at 10 or a gold star
Jason, you have improved so much in your video editing!! I absolutely love the beginning of the videos where you highlight different animals. You, Brooke, and Mary Carl do such a wonderful job and I appreciate being allowed to take this journey with all of you.
I’m so happy that you found the good hay for all the babies❤ I love Moody Mildred and Tater so much, they have very unique personalities. But I love all of the babies everyone of them
Dance floor for the animals sounds like a FUN idea!!! Lol But I think you're setting up a new hay storage area. The pallets are to keep it off the ground and help prevent mold. But the animals can still use it as a dance floor once the hay is all gone! 😉😊😂 Edit: Yep...hay storage. But... Hmmmm.....16 bales sure won't fit in that space 🤔
You should hang those outdoor string lights around the outside of the barn so you can see the animals at night better and so you can video at night. Maybe hook them up so they are solar.
A great hay day. 🤗 I love seeing all the farm babies so happy. Jason . . . I missed seeing you dance. It really does bring a smile to my face. I pray you, Brooke and all of Cog Farm and Squad have a most wonderful day. 🙏🏽💓💐🇺🇸
Making a dancing stage for Jason!
Jason don't need a stage to dance on
That's true but a wooden stage sounds good when you dance!
😂
Great comment, Linda 😊😊😊

I would say you’re getting ready for round hay bales.
I think so too😊
Yep, I think so too
That’s what I thought too
Go back and look you and Brooke have the same color clothes on.
Me too😊
❤Not only does the boss lady get to see them sunsets, she also doesn't get the morning sunshine in her eyes ❤
Hey😊 Peaches is a snowbird that's her winter residence, the other is her summer residence. 😂
I love Brooke’s comeback about the matching shirts, “we’ll plan that then, we ain’t planning it now.” Y’all make my day.
You’re making a Saturday night dance floor for all the animals! 😆
Morning everyone, just love being part of your lives daily. God bless.
Can’t thank you guys enough for the wholesome entertainment.. God bless
Always making improvements. Greetings from MICHIGAN
I feel exactly the same way!❤
Seeing you out in the dark reminds me of when you were moving the chickens from the old farm to the new. Can’t believe that’s been as long as it has
Too cute the bovines are all lined up at the fence from largest to smallest waiting for Brooke to finish cleaning.
Holly‘s face is beyond cute!!❤❤❤❤ and the way she looks at you, oh my heart ❤️ ❤❤❤
Had to laugh at the three mooskateers waiting for Brooke to finish patty detail!
Jason has got the moves. It’s no wonder Brook loves him so.
The beginning of the video is so peaceful❤
@@hungkame i like this music
You could put up some solar lights attached to the outside of the stalls
I love the picture of the three bovine watching Brooke tidy up the land about their hay pile.
Awesome video! The Farmer Dance was icing on the cake.
That’s a better dance comment than the one I was gonna type…😊❤
Sylvester wants his haybale back in the barn to sleep on
JASON AND BROOKE ARE SO GOOD TO THEIR ANIMALS THEY ARE SO LOVED ❤❤❤
It kinda looked like Holly wanted to join in to me?! Gosh I just love seeing how you’re her human. So glad that you got the bales puzzle figured out! I never had a doubt! ❤
Good morning Jason, Brooke, & Mary Carl. Good morning Cog Squad
In the UK we have a machine that wraps our hay bales in black polythene, that way the farmers can store them outside.
Glad you got hay before mad rush.😊
Nothing feels better than having the barn filled with hay for the winter! And love the smell!!😊😊
Howdy! Round bales of hay! ❤️❤️🙏❤️❤️
All the years I've been watching this channel and seeing you dance I still love it Jason. And you still got it buddy 👍🏾
Holly is always ready to go! She's the sweetest dog!

I really enjoy when you take us on road trips. The country side is amazing.
We got our dancing farmer back! 🎉🎊🎉✨🎹🎸🪗🎷
That sunset was gorgeous, no wonder Peachie wants to see it every night.
I so enjoy seeing the life and love Holly is living!❤
Yay for hay!!! Great to have hay security for winter. The Kitty City in the barn will be fun too. Excellent Hay Day dance at end. 🚜🧑🌾👨🌾🕺👩❤👨

Nice hay storage! Loved your "Hay Dance" at the end, Jason! 😍😅👏
Me too!!
If you raise up Moody’s old shelter, maybe you might consider putting a few more side panels up to keep the hay dry. Looks great, guys!
Mornin' everybody. Hope everyone has a great day! 😘
THANK YOU BECCA !!! SAME TO YOU !!!

I love the cows, such a sweet group that all get along. 🥰😃
I wouldn't be surprised if Holly picked up some of your dance moves, Jason. She was watching you pretty hard, LOL
Holly is so clever and understanding...what an amazing pet.
The love you guys have for your animals, and the way you care for them all is just truly amazing 😊
Good to see everyone this morning 😊 . You all look happy and well😊
That is some beautiful looking hay! So neatly rolled!😊 ‼️‼️You could hang tarps down the sides to keep rain off the outer bales.‼️‼️
🤣Jason you are a excellent dancer. You do the moon dance good even with heavy boots on. Glad you have your hay ready for the winter. It's one less thing to be concerned about. You both work good together. I love you guys. ❤❤❤

Glad you got the hay bales under the carport and in the garage. Peaches is so beautiful. Tater seems to love her new home. Loretta and Gus loved the watermelon.
Making a place for the hay.
Square hay bales
I was wrong. Boo hoo😪
💖Love how Tater has settled in to her new home!💖Moody, Mildred & Tater make an awesome trio!💖
The three moos kateers. Awful, but the best I could do. 😂
@bettyedavis5912 - So clever! Love it! 🤣
Storage site for round bales
Hey! It's hay time! Have a great day Cog Hill Clan!🌾🌾🌾
Getting ready to get round bakes for winter.

Yup making place for the hay
Those goat faces peering over the rail in the barn make me smile.
❤love those pasture puppies so much❤
💭 Thanks for the video. Sunset was gorgeous. The cows look so content. Holly is always happy. Peaches too.
Putting down pallets for hay storage!
Store hay on top of the pallets to get it off the ground for lessening rot damage.
Good morning, winter food storage!
Good guess
Wow. The sunset beautiful
Good morning Jason, Miss Brooke, Cog Squad! Pretty, but chilli day here in Rhode Island today
Same here on Cape cod
Jason I love that you all have the barn, that keep your babies safe behind gates and that protects them during the nighttime. Speck to Lester to up his game, I felt bad for them. ⚡️

Good Morning Cog Family & Squad
Good morning!
Making hay storage
Good morning Jason, Brooke and Miss MaryCarl.❤😊

Hay storage under the shelter.
Well done Cog Hill Farm !!
Love the cow family ❤😊😊
Both of you in your comfort zone. Jason dancing and Brooke running the tractor.
Thinking you’re making a new shelter for hay.
getting your hay shelter ready
Another beautiful day at Cog Hill Farm!❤❤❤
Rats, chipmunks, possums and racoons nesting galore, oh my!!
Cats and the guard dogs will have fun!
At least round bales aren't as prone to nest IN the hay!
Good thing the cows aren't picky eaters! It was wonderful that you were able to stock up on the best hay for the winter! 💖💖💖
GOAT playground😊
I used to use pallets to store my hay on! It keeps it off of the ground and it gets less mildew growth and keeps it fresh.
Getting ready for hay.
So glad yal got hay for the winter, they sure had the hay there if for any reason you run out just maybe that person will still have some for you. Jason you was right you got 10 bales under there, and I half to say you have some move dance.
Y'all are making a Hootin-Nanny Dance Floor!
don't take this the wrong way I never miss a live or a video, but this video was formatted in a way that I couldn't look away from it. Making a hay storage shelter from the rain
Jason, you have improved so much in your video editing!! I absolutely love the beginning of the videos where you highlight different animals. You, Brooke, and Mary Carl do such a wonderful job and I appreciate being allowed to take this journey with all of you.
Getting ready for winter and round bales for your babies❤️🙏🐄
You got it right
I’m so happy that you found the good hay for all the babies❤ I love Moody Mildred and Tater so much, they have very unique personalities. But I love all of the babies everyone of them
Okay, I guess Miss Brooke found a big lot of free pallets and is planning to eventually utilize them to build something with them.
Dance floor for the animals sounds like a FUN idea!!! Lol
But I think you're setting up a new hay storage area. The pallets are to keep it off the ground and help prevent mold.
But the animals can still use it as a dance floor once the hay is all gone! 😉😊😂
Edit:
Yep...hay storage. But...
Hmmmm.....16 bales sure won't fit in that space 🤔
This couple is an absolute joy to watch!
Holly watching the hay celebration dance!
Hay barn.
The huge pile of hay is a beautiful sight❤ . Life is good. 😊
Of all the farm channel’s I’ve watched yours and Sneads are the cleanest
If you put extention legs on that hay barn you could get them stacked. Only need a couple feet added. Cheaper than buying an additional hay barn.
We think we might be able to raise it🙌❤️❤️
You should hang those outdoor string lights around the outside of the barn so you can see the animals at night better and so you can video at night.
Good afternoon cog squad from the UK I get excited when I see a notification of a new video, you guys are the best have a wonderful day
