Great video Scott.
Thanks so much, Francesco!
*_Thank you so much for sharing this. Who would have thought that this simple step make a world of difference? This is one of the reasons I leaned away from Google Keep and tried other apps. Would def consider this._*
You are very welcome as always. Yes, this simple change make a huge difference for Keep users.
TYVM Scott. Another very good tip.

You bet! Thanks for watching!
great video !!!!
Thanks!
I've been doing this for a while and it is nice to have a clean page. There is one down side though - if you are using the sidebar in Docs or Gmail, the keep panel only shows the home page notes and I haven't yet found an option to load tags from the side bar.
Good info
That is a very good point. Thanks for sharing!
Such videos should be as shorts because you already have covered almost the same in the past.
It’s a key feature, worth repeating, totally changed how I used the program
Indeed, please repeat as necessary.
@@jontipI agree too
Not sure he agrees .
That’s great advice for when you have your own UA-cam channel to manage.
Something worth mentioning. I personally put all my notes in labels and then archive each note so there is a place to see all my notes at once but also have a notes section that is blank and ready to go. But once your notes are in labels and not in the notes section, they can no longer be rearranged. This is only possible with the notes you leave in the main notes section.
Good point. Thanks for sharing!
Really good to know.
Glad you think so!
tHanks for the video. I had not known this existed until today. Have a great week!
You are most welcome. Glad you enjoyed this one!
Nice tip.
Thanks!
1 problem remains. You can’t add a pdf file to a Keep note. Is possible in all other note taking apps. But they don’t have OCR that Keep has in pictures (except Evernote)
Yes, uploading files (other than images) is still not available. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Scott, do you know of a way to create folders AND sub folders of that level 1 folders in KEEP.?.
Unfortunately, Google Keep doesn't have a native feature to create folders and subfolders.
can you create sub-labels??
Are there any “select all” shortcuts for iPhone app users?
Sorry, but such a shortcut is not currently possible on iPhone.
Can you create sub-labels??
No, Google Keep currently doesn't support creating sub-labels or nested labels within labels. This means you can't organize your notes in a hierarchical structure.
However, there are a few workarounds you can try to achieve a similar effect:
Use Label Names Creatively: You can include a hierarchy within the label names themselves. For example, instead of a label named "Work," you could have labels named "Work - Client Meetings" or "Work - Project Ideas."
Multiple Labels: Google Keep allows adding multiple labels to a single note. This lets you categorize notes across different categories.
Color Coding: Utilize the color-coding feature in Keep to visually distinguish notes belonging to a specific category, even if they share the same label name.
Wouldn't just pinning the notes achieve the same effect?
Pinning a note will Unarchive it automatically. But if you unpin that note, it will remain unarchived. Is that what you mean?
