    Pesarattu is the best breakfast. You can make pesarattu with out rice by using purely mung beans/mung dal. It's full of protein, fiber, and several vitamins and minerals. Make it with very little oil. Eat it with freshly made peanut chutney which is full of healthy fats, protein and fiber. Few can beat this combination in terms of nutrition.

    Upto my passing out of my higher secondary school, we used to eat only curd rice, as breakfast, that too rice added with milk and butter milk previous night itself. Thus we used to feel sufficiently full to carry on in the school Upto 1230 pm quite energetically. This is a very healthy food. breakfast.
