I love ya, Jack! “I think I should have stopped a little bit earlier.” And then continues. Lol. I always have anxiety watching UA-cam artists continue past where I think they should go, but it always seems to work out. This is beautiful. Thank you for sharing your many gifts.

I just spent a very enjoyable hour watching this beautiful crow come to life. Now have to try your method. Grwat video again and a special thanks to the wonderful person who muted the hair dryer. Much appreciated 😊

This was great to see those iridescent colours on the crow yet still look dark and read as black. I had started drawing and painting birds recently and discovered you after seeing one of your books on Amazon. I bought your Nature drawing & journaling book. I drew and painted a blackbird recently with Inktense pencils. It's on my Instagram page along with mainly other birds and animals if you're interested in taking a look. Thanks for demonstrating painting this crow Jack, I really enjoyed it. 🥰

What pencil do you use for sketching? I would absolutely love to know what it is.

I'm a real beginner. Loving your videos. Can you list what supplies you are using?

Hi John. Which kind of leads are the blue ones that you are using for the initial sketch?
I tried the 0.5 steadtler blue, but leads break very easily, even when trying to make a.subtle line. I tried the pilot Eno (0.7) but is not as subtle as steadtler ones. Is there any other brand I am missing?
    Thank you!
