Plane Spotting at Heathrow Airport, It Was So Cold!

✈️Heathrow was on reverse ops yesterday, meaning the planes were departing heading east instead of west.

✈️I had a specific plane I wanted to see which was the Etihad 787-10, Warner Bros. Livery. I was not disappointed! The skies were beautiful and had it not been so cold, I would’ve stayed for sunset.
**Location** for viewing departures heading east:
From Hatton Cross Station, cross over and head along Great South West Road, past the BP garage, past the paddock, past Myrtle avenue, (taking in the view of all of the departing planes) and keep walking until you reach the perimeter/blast wall, near T4. I found this to be a great spot for viewing wide body jets as you can actually see the livery of the plane and retraction of the landing gear, however with smaller planes they are already a bit high up as they use less runway and take off sooner.
