Guys this was a great video really down to earth not all filled with glitter and glamour just reality yet personal.Your going to go a long way with this you have the right personality. Thanks for being real. This kind of channel is what Wanda and Me look for. Thanks Danny
WOW you're in NC, that's so awesome. I dont know why I be so surprised when I find out, someone I see as remarkable, is from here. Maybe thats just the effect of an screen...Makes you so disconnected and keeps you from realizing we're all just Human. Thanks for all the videos, timeless advice, and Authenticity! Y'all Take Care
Ha!! Thanks for this. You two rock. I LOVE hearing who you both are, besides terrifically awesome! How sweet of you to think of me, and those other great homesteaders you called out, and BRAD, I love that guy! Rock on, sweeties!
This video was great in so many ways. Learned some great things about you two and had some great laughs. A couple of the channels I had not heard of. Thank you for the kind words! Keep up the great work!
This was such a fun video to watch!! I love both of your personalities!! Thank you for sharing, it was really fun getting to know a little more about you both!! Love your channel!! ~Amy (Lewes, De)
Some people dont understand when a person can turn their hand to lots of skills. They think its bad but I too am one of those people who can do great work in all fields and that is useful more so each new day. Wishing you both the very best of sucess in all you do xx
You two are too cool. Along with great audio & cracked Iphone screen comes pretty, well spoken lady & chill guy. Thank you for sharing your life & knowledge!
All those fantastic endeavors and now you have chosen my passion > Farmsteading and Woodland Permaculture. I built the first computers in 1972. So I've seen it all in 30 years of hi-tech, but I was in manufacturing engineering. Also English/Art major. Now all the favorite aspects of my life history, are being applied to the back woods of New Hampshire. It doesn't get any better than that! I am content and satisfied with my final choice, as it relates to THE GOOD LIFE. The really NICE thing about trying all kinds of cool stuff, is that it gives one choices and perspectives. I can see that your varied lifestyle has also served you. Well done.
Hello from Ontario Canada. Have watched many of your videos. I love you guys. Hubby and I owned an old farmhouse we renovated. Lived there for 12 years but had to sell due to health issues. Best of luck with all you do. The two of you are very inspiring. ❤️
Now I know why your lighting & audio are always so 'clean'! Thanks for posting great content. I'm learning canning from you, Off Grid with Doug & Stacey, & the lady on Rain Country. You are so clear & memorable. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Found your channel looking for goat info and I've been watching every video. We have started sustainable homesteading and learning a lot from you. Thank you so much.
You guys are fantastic to watch. Enjoyed every video I've seen . Thank you ! Especially for the chicken videos. Just getting started . 50 birds due here in june. Can't wait.
You both are probably the most versatile and coolest people i know ... and i've travelled the world for a few years. Thumbs up for these very private insights, much appreciated ❤️
Hi! I only found your channel today. I was looking for information on mylar food storage. Jamie was such an amiable presence, clear and comprehensive. At that point, I noticed a video about why the animals are gone. (I love animals. I had to click it, and i am not a youtube addict.) It is hard to find words for how that video impacted me. The information is very helpful. It came with a price: Learning from someone else's mistakes and bad luck. But the someone else was also a highly responsible individual, who had researched extensively. And who did not play any blame games. This is someone humble enough to be transparent and undefensive about mistakes, so that others may be able to avoid them. It is character, resilience, humility, and altruism. It is refreshing. I am glad to have stumbled across your extremely practical and appreciable videos and vlog. Thank you both for pursuing your dreams and sharing a bit of your world with us.
Really fun to learn more about you two. You guys have had such interesting lives thus far. Your sense of humor came out for both of you a bit. I really enjoyed it. Looking forward to responding to this in a video. We haven't been tagged before so we're pretty excited. 🤓 Thanks for including us. We will check out the other channels you tagged also. 👍🏻
retired photographer here, let me tell you about my lens's, my hasselblad's my canon's, my filters. I still have just about everything from my home portrait studio, I spent so much money on it, I hate to sell it, I know it'll be at a loss. But I got some great portraits of children's, families, mama's and babies and weddings. Not to mention my children.
Jamie I swear we could have been sisters...the technlogy, the past weight/health issues, your diverse work history...a techie/musician hubby, your values, travel, and now homesteading! Love watching you guys, thanks
I so enjoyed your random facts. You're both amazing. I've also watched your Canning 101 and Canning basics for beginners. I plan on viewing the rest of your videos and I hope you keep making them. Thank you God bless! Jan 2023
Jamie... like you I am very introverted. I prefer hanging out with animals to other people. Also, I am a pharmacy technician and I work at CVS. I hate it because it's far too stressful and I think my introversion is a part of that because I see so many people in one day that by the time I go home, I don't want to see or talk to anyone. I just want to be left alone lol.
Thank you guys so much being so real so upfront so open. I greatly appreciate the I can do attitude. I do not have a UA-cam channel to speak up I'm building a small off-grid house for just myself 532 square feet 140 acres in the Arizona desert. A lot of it with your inspiration. I do have that I can do attitude I dug my septic tank Hole by hand 8 feet long 8 feet Wide 7 ft deep with a shovel I have frame the foundation or subfloor the four walls and the roof by myself. I believe in water like you do but Waters and possible here it's a haul water situation so I haul water 300 gallons at a time. Anyway enough about what I'm doing keep up the great work to pleasure to watch both of you and learn. Thank you again for an amazing Channel.
Thanks for sharing a bit about yourselves. This was fun to watch. Going to be having surgery soon so now I have something to binge watch while recovering. Looking forward to learning from you. Also thank you for including amazon.ca on your like and share, the exchange is a killer right now.
You guys are a really sweet couple. My one big surprise was that you live so close to traffic. I would think that you have plans to venture to a more remote location. Love your videos. Cheers!
You guys are awesome - I'm so glad I stumbled over your channel while looking for food preservation tips, I've found lots of great advice and the story of two people who just made their thing. Stay who you are!
Loved it!!!! Most of my favorite channels shoot their videos on their IPhones. Keep up the good work and don't change , we like you just the way you are. Again thanks
Thanks Terrye. It's actually kind of liberating not always having to focus on all the technicals of using higher end equipment to get the perfect shot, and being able to use a simple camera more organically to tell the story. UA-cam is also a good platform for that type of content. Thanks for watching. 👍🏻
It was my pleasure to meet you both via video. To me you are 2 of the most interesting people in the world. Stay adventurous you 2. Would love to see more.
You are both super-cute and laid-back! Found your channel through your canning-videos and will watch the rest of your content because you are so likeable! All the best to you, love and hugs from Vienna/Austria/Europe
You are very interesting people. I heard you say you've been to Costa Rica. I too have been there. That would be the perfect place to homestead.... think about it..... even the fence posts grow there! Please keep doing what you do. We too homestead in Texas. I can relate to many of the things you talk about. Even the " Wind makes me angry' part. LOL
U guys need to make more videos like this!! I never would've guessed any of this stuff. You don't even seem old enough to have accomplished half the stuff you've done. You guys are amazing!!! And the black fur in Jeremy's car and his rockin mullet and your tattoos are bad ass!!! I love it,!!! 🥰💗
I original clicked on your video because of your beauty then realized im zoning out falling asleep to your lovely voice the chicks were fun to watch too.
You folks ARE interesting! Jamie, you ARE adventurous, burning your eye out, all for the thrill of experience. Cool guitar riff, if someone forced me to jump out of a plane, ther'd be words... loud, 4 letter ones. Rock on guys!! Wishing you many more adventures and successes.
Jaime and Jeremy, this was a great video. The both of you have accomplished a lot. I believe you will accomplish a lot on your homestead, because you study things out. Your not afraid to test the waters and you both seem very down to earth. I had to chuckle on the amount saved from boycotting the barber shop. I was called out by one of my subscribers also and need to sit down and get that done soon. Thanks so much for sharing. Love and blessings to you and your family.
Great video! Its fun to hear the random facts and I am excited to check out the channels you tagged. Some I am familiar with but a couple I do not know. Nice job!
