Hi Frank. Would you have a clue why my XRV750P hesitates at and won’t go over 7000rpm in all gears. I’ve changed all filters,spark plugs,cleaned carbs and sync n balanced them. Bike been in shed(I was told)for 10 years,done 30,000 miles
@@FranksWay I got a cheap cdi(£130)still the same tho! Not checked stator. I will look on UA-cam how to check it. Would a weak spark or faulty fuel cap cause this? Thanks for getting back to me

I think it was but have to double check, measure yours and let me know...plates are the same tho.
any torq settings we should be aware of?
Just make sure the nut holding clutch basket is torqued and add some loctite

Hi, check your cdi...have you changed stators recently?

@lawrencesalmon2934 check your wiring properly..also terminals in coils..and charging rate.
