I love this. Please consider including Generation X in your analysis. We were Slackers in our 20s and also sought to resist the unfair ravages of the political, economic, corporate and societal systems we knew would not serve us. We also spearheaded diversity, at that time called multiculturalism. And we took inspiration from the activists and social movements of the 60s.

Philosophy will hopefully help humanity be successful. We have managed as well as we have only because vast hordes of us have chosen to work very dull, boring, highly overseen jobs.
Good luck, some professions are very hard, like working in healthcare. You can't show up when you want to and you can't leave when you want. And you must be 💯 at all times. If you have a good group, you cover for each other, and you are lucky to find one. Yet those thankless jobs must be done by someone.
Agreed! This does not apply for all jobs, especially for healthcare
