what is firmware file and what is its purpose
I have an important question , i am using Android 10 Lancelot , do i need to flash miui 12.5 fastboot ROM or flashing just firmware will be fine?

I used fastboot rom. I use mi flash tool it worked im using lineage 20.0 right now.

@@yoru1xpog nada, só salvou, caso desse alguma coisa errado e o imei viesse errado depois de flashear, ele pode pedar o .zip que foi gerado e restaurar o imei para o original

few started booting but getting restart after welcome screen appaers
few have audio issue
few have mobile data issue
so not liking GSI any more

I did it, and still didnt worked. But, I did install the Lineage with my SDcard plugged on my phone. I made the steps that you show about the internal storage on the SDcard, I think worked. Will keeping testing.

Hi! I have a question. Are you sure that this will work on Redmi 9 prime? Both use the same code name lancelot, but Redmi 9 and Redmi 9 prime have different SoC (MediaTek G85 vs MediaTek G80 on 9 prime).

@@B-SharpBenchmarks I Installed Lineage on my Redmi 9 Prime after asking about it on various forums. It works!! It crashed twice for me while on call, but I do not know if it's a Prime 9 issue or Lineage OS issue (since it is a nightly release).

Hola estimado camarada, por alguna razón no puedo instalar la nueva recovery e seguido a cada paso la instalación use la misma versión de miui , descargue tu archivo de twrp y me dejo instalar, tengo el bootlader desbloqueado, quite las cuentas de mí y las de google, pero en el twrp al momento de ralizar el advance wipe empiezan mis problemas, me pide root o algo así, me dice unable to wipe/systme.root, y lo mismo al flahear el firware. I have read that in some cases MiFlash caused brick, I wanted to know if you preferred to use custom recovery for that reason or if it is for another reason. Greetings from Argentina.
@@MiltonGitrama flashing stock rom back on mobile must be done with Miflash tool with fastboot rom, from TWRp flashing requires full recovery rom file which must be downloaded properly and it should not be corrupted, then it can be flash with twrp, and also must know in case downgrading stock rom, you must know ANTI roll BACK number must be OK.
i suggest Mi flash for stock rom

Sorry, the only thing that gives me doubts about installing Lineage is the downgrade method, I want to make sure I don't bricked my device.
Redmi 9 or redmi 9 prime codename lancelot does not have any issue of anti roll back number. We can downgrade from Android 12 to even android 10 with no problem

I doesnt work for me, I'm stuck at Flash_6.bat where it doesn't want to show the Lineage recovery tool that it should be. Instead the screen blacks out after some seconds of me pushing the Vol+ button and then trying it again like it crashed or something. It does this until I release the button and then it loads Google's "set up your phone" starting screen which crashes after I would set everything. Can you help please?
