This beat is just crazy, i had good time remakin' it, especially chopping, I sampled Joanna Newsom too on some of my beats, and i was feeling this :)

Nice job man, my only qualm is with the snares... the middle one is alot more subtle in the orginal version. Regardless, thank you for putting this together.

@IntotheRedEye Exile (the producer) turned this awesome song into a hip-hop version, of course it's mostly her work, and i don't know if you like this instrumental, but he made good variations using this sample. As a producer, listening to Joanna Newsom, you can sample the whole thing, he just took the best moments of the song. (that can be sampled).
Imagine like he only took some parts of that "great piece of visual" and turned it into another painting.

The sample is chopped "exactly" the same way but i can't remake the same batery, i don't have the same kicks, claps, shakers etc...

Lol. I have listened to the song, I'm a huge Joanna Newsom fan. So I don't like it when someone uses material by someone else, which doesn't take anywhere near the effort it took her. Great, I'm glad it isn't meant to show his "skill", because it doesn't. I don't need to know much about sampling to know what the original song sounds like, to compare the two and to see that this is no different than painting a few strokes over an original painting, then signing your name on it.
My honest opinion? This is mostly her work. I admit I don't know much about sampling, but this seems like someone taking a great piece of visual art and painting on a few strokes on top.

Actually I only brought it up once. You're the one who made it necessary to explain why, and is bringing it up yet again. Do you really think I want you to literally define idiot? Of course not.
