The M7 is my regular weekday ride (I'm retired), so here are some other thoughts to consider.
Public transport options are the Bella Vista or Norwest Metro stations, and I've had no dramas taking my bicycle on the Metro.
Another parking spot is at the Francesco Crescent Reserve in Bella Vista, VERY CLOSE to the start. I have not checked the parking lot during weekends, and it might be filled with folks using the sports fields. A solid weekend parking option would be Bella Vista Metro Station, which has a large parking facility that is empty on weekends. From there it's a 3 km bike path along Windsor Rd to the M7 bike path Norwest Blvd entrance.
To avoid the boredom of the M7 path, look for the cycling entrance to the Western Sydney Parklands, about 400m West of Quaker Hills Parkway. This ends at 5.5 km at Eastern Rd, but head SW on Eastern Rd for 800m and turn SE at Football Dr (go past the Wanderer's stadium) for the final bit, rejoining the M7 bike path at the Great Western Highway.
    NICE channel; liked and subscribed!

Best way to get there is to Catch the metro to Bella Vista & get on at the Bella Vista M7 entrance

I live at the start of the cycleway near Bellavista, m7 is fantastic, no need to worry about cars or rude drivers. Good Fellas is out of the way, Cafe McKels is closer to the cycleway entry at Windsor road. There is an overhead ramp bridge close by to cross Windsor road on your bike.

Just found your channel mate and thank you for posting cycling videos about Sydney. How about a video navigating from say Macquarie Park area on the M2 then linking up to M7 and out to Penrith and maybe even up to lower Blue Mtns.

I have seen people ride this route but to be honest I’m a bit nervous about riding on the M2. Thanks for the suggestion though, something I’ll think about.

Good video Josh. Rode 85kms on it today including frozen coke at Maccas Blacktown Sports Park on way back. Handy one just off exit path at Eastern Road. $1 on the app!

Great vid mate. Will have to try the parking at Calmsley Hill. I wasn't sure where a good parking spot would be. Thanks for that.
Maybe next vid for Kuring-gai chase national park.

I’ve done a portion of Kuringhai Chase in my West Head video. I usually ride from home to get there but I should have suggested some alternate starting/parking spots.

If I lived closer to the M7 cycle path I would be doing it more often, but it’s almost an hour away for me.
I have a Trek Madone SLR 2019 (disc)

I did this cycle about 5 weeks ago and I have to say it was the most boring cycle I have ever done, even cycling the great western highway was not as boring as this cycle.
