This resort is so gorgeous, I could walk around it for ages. The antebellum buildings are a joy and there’s something about having a river flow by 😊. Loved this!
The walk around the resort is definitely peaceful! I always liked French Quarter more, but filming/hanging out here this time around made me love it a lot more. Thanks so much as always!
My daughter and I stayed here once and absolutely loved it!! We went fishing, on lots of walks and really enjoyed just being at the resort, when we weren't at the parks of course! This was a beautiful walk-thru, as always! You always do such a great job. Thank you!!
One of the most underrated resorts on property! For a moderate priced resort, I would rather stay here (if the transportation was a little more reliable. ).
I agree, both Port Orleans resorts are underrated to me! It would be nice if they were closer to the parks, but at least they have the boat ride to Disney Springs. Thanks so much as always Craig!
They are consistently rated as the best moderates. Bang for your buck I'd put Riverside far ahead of Beach Club. Yes it's a lot of walking but I don't mind walking, and I've always had a car there. Rental cats in Orlando are fairly cheap and you can't beat the convenience of finding cheaper places to eat.
This was our first resort for our first family Disney trip in 2013. My now "big kids" enjoyed watching this trip down memory lane with me tonight. Thanks for that!
Absolutely beautiful resort. I loved the walkways by the river surrounded the various trees. I would imagine this is one of the more expensive resorts.
Ah, our favourite place on Disney property! This is our resort of choice over the years. We've stayed at the Boardwalk, Swan, French Quarter, etc but we always feel like we've come home when we arrive at Riverside (and Dixie Landings in the early days). Great video, as always.
Thank you so much as always John! I personally never got to visit this resort during the Dixie Landings days, but I really enjoy this resort and also French Quarter!
Never been to this resort but you sure are broadening my horizons. This resort is gorgeous and relaxing. Another interesting and enjoyable walkthrough. Thanks for showing this resort.
I love the Port Orleans Riverside Resort. It’s like you are in a whimsical version of New Orleans that is made for the family and the night time piano bar is astounding for relaxing after a long day at the parks. ❤
Thank you so much for a wonderful video of our favorite resort! We appreciate your attention to detail- it’s what keeps us coming back for more from 4K WDW ❤
I truly respect that you try not to film anyone and focus on the amazing scenery. Most vloggers don't consider the guests privacy. Thank you for this video.
My parents TRIED to get a room here in the 1990s but it was packed. We wound up staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. I liked the decor and the atmosphere but golly, it's a LONG walk to get anywhere on the hotel property. Worse, the rooms offer little privacy unless you keep your drapes shut 24/7. If I wind up having to bring my nephews one day, I'll try to book Port Orleans French Quarter. I've always wanted to try that one.
😍So many speak so highly of this resort, I guess I'll have to go there some day depending on what the goal of the trip is. Gosh, I think having the only working water wheel on property might make it a done deal 😜👍🏻 Also, their store is still themed like the older Disney Stores, which is so nostalgic. You showed its unique vibe lovingly as usual. Thx 4💜
Hahaha oh yea, the water wheel here always seems to be working thankfully 🙌 But I agree, their store is just vintage Disney from the old days. I still can’t believe they think removing fun theming like that is a good idea🤯 Thank you so much Liz!!
I’m from Anaheim and this resort gives New Orleans Square. It feels very nostalgic and authentically Disney for me for that reason. Our family now lives in the south so we are excited to find a resort that feels like the Disney experience I grew up with. We are staying here this summer!
Wow! This is a neat resort!! My next visit is French Quarter…but I’ll need to take the short stroll (or the boat) to check it out! I really like the theming of their store (it looks a bit bigger than Jackson Square!). I also like the theming/decor of their QS…the overall rustic feel (where POFQ’s is more lightly themed as the float works for Mandi Gras…for those who have never seen it)…and a full “sit down” restaurant too!!. With French Quarter quickly rising as my favorite (Jazz, NOLA…and, well…can’t always stay at a Deluxe…AKL), I don’t know that I’ll change…but I can see checking out a stay at PO Riverside in a future visit. This is a great intro to this resort!! Thank you, 4K, for this tour!! 😊
I also like French Quarter more but Riverside is wonderful too!! I actually liked it even more this time around! That walk around the resort was so peaceful, and I’m a sucker for water wheels 😂 Thank you so much as always Rick!
Thank you so much! I will be back at French Quarter soon, but here’s a tour I filmed of it just last May! ua-cam.com/video/TBtb62lOGDc/v-deo.htmlsi=i89H7UHWzcfhY-uy
Just come back from stopping there. We love it. But does anybody know why the queues were so bad for the boat to Disney springs? We have been visiting since 2006 and it's the first time they were so big.
Never been there, but very much like Coronado Springs, PORR is a very expansive resort. Definitely good for people who like to walk, but I wouldn’t want to schlep my luggage if I was assigned a room way out at the edge of the resort. Overall, it’s very pretty & quiet. ⛲️🚶♂️🍿
The resort is pretty big for sure. I know some see that as a negative and then choose to stay at French Quarter since it’s much smaller. But it’s still a very nice and peaceful resort!

Hi there! 😃 I can’t get enough of this place either.
@@wdwexploreandchill Great minds 😊
The walk around the resort is definitely peaceful! I always liked French Quarter more, but filming/hanging out here this time around made me love it a lot more. Thanks so much as always!
True. Surprised there is not many people at Riverside usually
My daughter and I stayed here once and absolutely loved it!! We went fishing, on lots of walks and really enjoyed just being at the resort, when we weren't at the parks of course! This was a beautiful walk-thru, as always! You always do such a great job. Thank you!!
Oh wow, I’m sure going fishing was super fun! I’ve never done that before actually, but I’d really like to! Thank you so much as always my friend😃

The only time we stayed on site, back in 2014 it was here. Couldn’t rate it higher
Yay! Booked a solo week there this November for my first trip back since 7th grade!

I’ve been staying at ‘Riverside’ since the 90s when it was Dixie Landings 👍 love it 🧚♀️💫
This was our first resort for our first family Disney trip in 2013. My now "big kids" enjoyed watching this trip down memory lane with me tonight. Thanks for that!
Oh wow that’s awesome, I know exactly what that’s like! Thanks so much for watching 😃
This is still my favorite resort to stay at.
1st time I have ever seen port orleans riverside.....very picturesque....beautifully landscaped and the different building styles. Very beautiful!
Wow, great timing. I just booked this resort for my upcoming visit. Thanks for the resort stroll 4K.
Oh wow that is pretty perfect timing! It really is such an enjoyable resort, and I think the pricing is good also! Thank you as always my friend😃
You will love it!!
Absolutely beautiful resort. I loved the walkways by the river surrounded the various trees. I would imagine this is one of the more expensive resorts.
This is actually a moderate resort, so the pricing isn’t too bad!

It’s definitely worth going to visit if you have some time during a trip! The walk around is very relaxing! Thank you so much Bill😃

It’s always my pleasure, and I truly appreciate you continuing to watch and support! Thank you so much😃
Gorgeous walk as always… thank you 4K!
Thank you so much!! 😃
I truly respect that you try not to film anyone and focus on the amazing scenery. Most vloggers don't consider the guests privacy. Thank you for this video.
I really appreciate the kind words and also for you noticing my efforts in that. Thank you so much!
My hotel of choice, every time I visit, I'm never disappointed, and my husband and I have a regular routine.
My parents TRIED to get a room here in the 1990s but it was packed. We wound up staying at Caribbean Beach Resort. Love all your videos!!
Thank you so much Matt!
Such a great video from the home of my heart. Thank you ❤

The song playing right at the start.... Mo Betts Blues... is an absolute favourite! 🥰👌💙
Beautiful resort!
Staying here in a month with my family. Once stayed there in 2000 and loved it. I can't wait to be back
Will be there end of April . Love this side and French Quarter . Boat to Disney Springs is icing on the cake for me .
2:48 That's exactly how I feel in the morning...
😂
Hahahaha same here honestly 😂
I'm hopefully going there next year in September for 2 weeks. Thank you for the walkthrough 👍
I love this resort is so awesome 🐈⬛

Wow. That brought back memories. Thankyou.
My family’s favorite resort since practically it opened as Dixie Landings….love coming here…..we all feel so at peace here.
You’ve made our day! Thank you so very much 💚

I was there the week after you posted this 🤗
Great approach to a resort video! Walking tour without all the Jibber Jabber 🎉 You just earned a new subscriber 👍
Thank you so much Parker!! I really appreciate that! 😃
I loved this video, thank you. What a beautiful resort! I would love to see one at French Quarter too. I am staying there next February, can’t wait!
Thank you so much! I will be back at French Quarter soon, but here’s a tour I filmed of it just last May! ua-cam.com/video/TBtb62lOGDc/v-deo.htmlsi=i89H7UHWzcfhY-uy
I ‘m coming
I was actually just there a month ago! And I really loved the resort! The smell was a little weird! But I loved it
I was last there in 1995. Different name now, but it looks exactly the same. It was my family's favorite place to stay.
Just come back from stopping there. We love it. But does anybody know why the queues were so bad for the boat to Disney springs? We have been visiting since 2006 and it's the first time they were so big.
if you change some little finish details, there is a lot of Y&B and WL in here (in the main building). Interesting.
the grounds look awesome.

I enjoyed this walk through so much. I stayed here over 10 years ago, and I hardly remember any of it. Thank you, an always, for your great videos.
