We love our beautiful Melaka. Can't wait for borders to open. Jumpa lagi Melaka! Greatings from South Africa.
Such an impressive video with the interesting facts and history of Melaka. It’s been 2 years and 9 months I live in Melaka but I still find it very attractive and fascinating. (It is the only state and city I lived in Malaysia) Appreciate your elaboration with the careful and detailed easy explanations! I miss walking along the Melaka river so much since I couldn’t go out during MCO..
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thanks for the video !
Malacca (now Melaka) was the hub of civilisation in this part of the world in the past. Period.
Thanks for your very informative and inspiring video !
Superb video, sir. Extremely helpful.
Malacca is one of the oldest city in Peninsula Malaysia but not the oldest. There are Kedah Tua (Old Kedah) and many more ancient city. It was the oldest and most influential city in peninsular Malaysia
Thanks very informative
I still can’t wait to visit Malaca & the rest of Malaysia 🇲🇾
After coronavirus restrictions
We are waiting for the green light to travel as well, I hope it'll be soon! Might have to take that shot...
If my employer allows WFH forever after pandemicI would definitely move there right now
Thanks from uk Ronin , very informative, I hope to visit for a few weeks next year , I am 58 and looking for a place to retire to for a. Few years , heard good reports about Malacca , Georgetown, KL.
Base yourself in Penang. Anywhere else outside Malaysia, hope over for a few days or weeks.
Our daily convenience is great n our food is the best overall.
The best video I’ve seen on Malacca! 👍🏿👍🏾👍🏼
OK for weekend trip...
The best vlog I've seen so far.
How can l make contact with PM ?
I'm looking for a local to communicate with regarding accommodation six month's per year.
Malayasia is closed for expatriates? When will the MM2H will likely to open
Nice place to visit.
Malacca is ok. Next must be Penang, Ipoh, Taiping, Kuala Lumpur and Langkawi.
...vs. Penang|Georgetown?
The tricycle that you shown in the video is from Penang not Malacca origin. Anyway nice video of my hood. Thanks
Yes, you are right
Great food but too many tourists
The only thing I don't like about UbecAstan is that it's hard to find a restaurant that serves BLT'S......... !
Malacca is truly Malaysia 🇲🇾
Malacca is only boring during lockdown!! I started to miss the tourists already😆😆😆😆😆😆
To see the town eerily empty is making me sick 😮😮
@SiMoN ghost town during lockdown😂😂😂 u literally could crawl at jonker Street😂😂
@SiMoN i said crawling bcz usually u cant even cross the lanes without being honked at by passing cars or bumped into other tourists ..who seemed like lining up for free food!!
I liked the way the tourists buying everything being offered, as if it was too cheap .. hahaha 😆😆
@SiMoN u should try small cafes owned by chefs or cooks also.. they hv the best homestyle food of Malacca..
Roadside ones, the stalls are okay too..if u know where to find..
@SiMoN too many hv closed during this plandemic, sorry to say.. i mean outa bizz...too many small motels, are closed, imagine other bizz such as cafes , kopitiams, gone..😯😪
Can foreigners own property in Malacca, Malaysia?
Yes, but not landed property .
You can own house and condo...but most land is Malay Reserve..
As a Malaysian I can tell you for sure that yes, you can own landed and high rise property. The only restriction is that you can only own a property that is above USD 250k. As anything lower than that price is restricted to Malaysians only. There are close to a million foreigners owning property in Malaysia currently.
@@cleanenergyinside1921 most States have higher minimum for foreigners.. Selangor min RM 2 mio condo unless overhang which bit less..Malacca minimum RM 500 k condo
😍❤️👍🇧🇩🇱🇷🇧🇩🇱🇷
The historical area is no longer quiet. First visited about 30 years ago. During a visit in 2019 i noticed a disturbing trend. Extremely noisy bicycle rickshaws and tuk tuks with huge super loud speaker systems. Couldn’t believe people actually enjoy this. At 1am in our hotel on the 4th floor we called the front desk to complain (to no effect) because several of these vehicles were parked on the street outside of our hotel It was so loud it was not possible to sleep. Instead of staying the planned four nights er left after one night
Cheaper than Vietnam
