I love this one! The mist is perfect. We live on the shore of a lake. Many mornings it is misty here. I want to try your method with the sponge and see what happens.
I bought a roll of the Bahoong paper from Temu in cold pressed I've taken a liking to it and next year I'll get some Saunders Waterford plus some Escoda paint brushes ,anyway doing misty pictures looks like I've been doing it wrong as for the boats I forgot about the figure 8 part I watched an artist yrs ago doing boats just like yours and doing people just like yours forgot his name but funny everything is starting to sink in now.
@@RobertMeeArtist I've yet to buy that but I was using another 300gsm paper which was in a booklet of 50 sheets sometimes it buckled but it was cheaper than Arches our mark ups are pricey because it's $20 or more per postage to the US or the UK and as for paints they aren't cheap luckily I get out out of paying for them now I'm trying to get my husband to make up our own brand he flipped out on the prices that a regular artist would pay ,he's been making water based paints for 30yrs or more the right way not the way of all the brands altogether do it which I just found out he always paints are like baking a cake.
How lovely. Really wonderful execution. Nice colour harmony. Great demo.

I kept wondering about the towers of mist (?) that kept curling up between the boats and the shore . . .
Watercolour painting itself!

It just takes practice, keep going 👍
