Not to mention for a while it was used in memes inside the wrestling community. It showed up in a few other nonwrestling meme stuff as a jumpscare type meme but didn't last long
U forgot the “and sings your song” part of it. Be kind of weird if he said it became iconic just cause Shawn walked into the dressing room (without singing it).
You know Shawn for a fact loved to be slightly annoying with it and exaggerated the hell out of the "WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL" to be stupidly long, in his sarcastic ass voice.
I never liked it. He’s right, a bluesy theme would have been perfect but what he ended up with was kinda cringe. You guys like it due to nostalgia but it’s an objectively bad theme
I remember the tough enough guys who tried to sandbag B show and not selling when he slammed them🤣 he still picked those grown men up like kids gave the sandbaggers and elbow or a knee
i worked in a deli years ago in florida and he came in asked if we had a sausage and pepper dish that we served at certain times of the week. that day it wasnt ready but i was like "im so sorry! it takes 45 minutes but i can get it started right away for you sir! is there anything we can do for you for the inconvience!?" but he couldnt have been nicer and was like "nah its cool bro. i know you guys got a schedule with that. ill just come back on the day you serve it." just so sweet and so chill. dude is just an amazing guy
I hear him, and it's obviously his opinion so he knows best, but his Big Show theme is exactly what he described. It's heavy blues slow strutting music. Maybe if he shared an example/song influence that would help? But that theme is literally EXACTLY what he asked for lol.
I think he's talking about his first version of the music that was sung by Michael Hayes. You know, the one that start with Hayes loudly shouting "WOEELLL EELLL, WELL IT'S THE BIG SHOW!" and the drum tempo was noticeably very fast. I can see why Show hate that version of the theme.
Well he did with Muddy Waters. The blues in Big Show’s theme is more of a commercial musical walk in blues as opposed to with Chicago style blues. Which is more musical but still slow.
I think this is the classical scenario where he had something in mind but has no clue how to describe it, so the rest of us just give him what he asked for which is not what he wanted to say.
@@koolaidjammer7108 He never was, that was Triple h and Shawn. Mark Henry was busy trying protect Rock from backstage power going after him during that time, at the same time Mark Henry was respected as time gone forward.
That song is a part of my childhood and teenage. Everyone loved Cena Rock Steve Austin etc but guys like Big Show Kane Mark Henry also helped to enrich the experience. They were not favs but definitely unmissable part of WWE.
One of my favorite themes. I remember in 7th grade losing my mind watching the 2001 Royal Rumble when he made a surprise return. When that music hit and he cleared the ring, such a great memory
ill admit, the "rest" of the song isnt exactly that great, but every time i heard that first bit, "weEEELLLllll....." i definitely got a bit more excited to see what Show was about to do to the poor schmucks in the ring lol
My friends and I always randomly spout off "weee-eeell" while doing even the most mundane tasks. Never fails to get a laugh. We love his theme song. haha
I guess it all makes sense now. Big Show turned Face and Heel so much because he was conflicted with how much he hated his theme song and with how much the fans enjoyed it. Lol.
I actually sing that line randomly. It’s just stuck in my head forever. The Jerishow mashup was amazing and probably the best entrance theme of all time. I was so heartbroken when they split up just because that was the end of that theme.
Well, if HBK endorses it, you have to keep it, lol. It's interesting how he mentioned HBK, consider ing Shawn wasn't too sold on the HBK gimmick initially either.
Lyrics make no sense either. "Well, get ready for something That you'll NEVER KNOW You won't see it coming But I promise YOU'LL KNOW" Will I know or not? Make up your mind!
I haven’t watched pro wrestling in like 15 years, but the most iconic theme music will forever be Stone Cold’s song. Any time the glass shattered crowds would go absolutely ballistic.
The version he used from the early to mid 2000's was the best version IMO. The one he started using from 05/06 until the end of his WWE career wasn't as good.
I’m dying to hear the Shawn Michaels cover of his theme now 😂
he walked in with a guitar and started jamming with Show
@adventurousstoner2629 It was a Gibson Les Paul with dual humbucker pickups. It was then and there he made big show his childs godfather.

Shawn Michaels literally sang his theme song
Watch kurt singing shawn's theme insted
Big Show: I hate it
Literally everyone: how dare you Sir!
Not everyone
Not to mention for a while it was used in memes inside the wrestling community. It showed up in a few other nonwrestling meme stuff as a jumpscare type meme but didn't last long
It's very understandable why he thinks so
Everyone else: Big Show is lame
Just like Orton and Burn In My Light.
That's actually one of my favs lol
I know I liked his theme song.
Same
Same after Randy Orton 😤
I love his theme song

Same😂

I imagine him walking in the locker room singing and spinning like in his entrance
It’s like John Cena (and Chris Jericho) singing Cody Rhodes’s song.
You know Shawn for a fact loved to be slightly annoying with it and exaggerated the hell out of the "WELLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL" to be stupidly long, in his sarcastic ass voice.
That theme song is legendary, we stayed singing it in elementary school

As long as it wasn’t a PPV.
Damn that’s sad to hear tbh cause i love it😂

That theme IS iconic. I loved when he would "shhhh" the crowd and deliver those DEVESTATING chops!!

Specifically his ‘03 version for me

That original theme was so much better than the one he would later use. It was powerful and loud, it felt massive, like him.
AGREE
Muddy Waters was from the town next to mine. Having one of his songs as the Shows entrance would have made me love him that much more.
WWE would never be willing to pay the royalties required to do that.
Muddy Waters was the truth!! 💯
Big boy looks so calm and smart.
