1:11 So what was said here was 小问题 (xiao wen ti), which can be translated as "It's trivial", but can also be translated as "it's no problem". If you translate it directly, it means "small question", and in the context of the words preceding it, "没事 没事 没事" (mei shi mei shi mei shi) which can also be translated as "it's ok" or "no problem", you can see where the multiple translations comes from. Not to say Dom's take on that communication is entirely wrong, that they aren't using really specific words, but from my perspective (being an American-born Chinese person, so my Chinese isn't the best), those words aren't really as specific as a word like "trivial" is in the English language. No one really cares about this but thought I'd throw this in here :D
it would be more specific if they said something like 小菜一碟, which means literally "one small dish", to express triviality. It's still often used in casual conversation though.
When I read the title for this video, my dumb ass thought it was referring to BLG talking in English in their voice coms, which was especially weird for me because I knew BLG is like the only all-Chinese LPL team and wouldn't even need to worry about language barriers xD
🤓☝ actually AL, BLG, , NIP, OMG, RA, RNG, and WE are full chinese (i consider pcs players like YSKM doggo and fofo not chinese cuz they arent they are from taiwan or hk)
Xun's shotcalling is so clean and he's not loud at all. Honestly after seeing this, I don't even know if any western team has this same clean and constant call on teamfights. Like Xun talks always, ON like every 3rd second, Yagao and Elk barely and Bin almost never. When I see a western voice comms, everyone talks and sometimes you can hear clearly sometimes it's a chaotic mess.
What? No he wouldn't, he might be called the best top in the world but of all time even Reddit doesn't have a thread calling someone the GOAT without comments disagreeing.
I feel like with eastern teams' voice comms(language difference), they communicate faster than say English, a sentence can be spoken faster in like Chinese than English. For example, the ward situation 0:53 , Xun said (wo xian hou mian cha ge yan) each word here is just a single vowel/diphthong, whereas in the translated English (I'll put a ward in the back), it will take a bit longer to say i think. That few seconds can be the difference maker in many team fights.
this is a good example of a team communication/shot-calling problem West should learn about, I have listened to so many vc, and besides missing jkl,99% of the team has jug as the main shot-caller who gives the offensive call, and sup as side shot caller to do some defensive call and ofc some timer job like a car's accelerator n brake. like an army, only the team leader make decision and assists with advice, once decision made everyone should execute
@@damiester1 1st as laner ofc you need to focus on your mechanics, jkl change is best example,2nd if you listen carefully they only report their on situation like where/wat they have n when can they attempt
Xun, Elk, and On, if I'm not mistaken are rookies and this is their first worlds, and before this their first MSI. If I'm not mistaken. But the confidence they play with is unreal, no hesitation. I really love this team.
well BLG where not at their peak when they beat a T1 that came of probably the best bo5 this year vs JDG. Also are you really sertan than T1 will not choke at finals like they have for the last 5 finals in a row. The boys are 1/6 in finals whit this roster. BLG have some proven winners on their roster mostly Yagao and Bin who unlike Faker and Zeus dont ghost in finals.
@@stefankatsarov5806 Yagao and Bin?People are have not won anything internationally at all? Faker and Zeus won worlds, what was Blg won? They are just losers. Lmao

i dont know HOW dom doesnt know that translations arent always 100% accurante but its okay XD

True but trivial

Man I love their energy, it kinda owns
I love the fact that they used Brave Shine as the background music for game 5, so fitting
their power clearly comes from the coordinated NICEUUUU's. if only our western players could harness such strength
If Bin was Korean he'd have 25 reddit threads about how he is the best top laner of all-time.
Goes to show how passionate Korean fans are, sometimes unhinged, but passion can be that way.

Yeah, the worst fans are actually more Koreaboos than actual Koreans living in Korea lol. If anything, they're probably Korean Americans.

I swear Xun just drones on and on lol he's like static noise at this point. And I love him for it.

I will type in all chat anytime I go for a 1 for 1 'It's trvial'
bro if the LPL as a whole started to translate more of their content to english it would completely kill western league's viewership
How?
Difficult cause people like to relation politics with a game, they just hate lpl cause it is china region
This team is just such a fcking UNIT man. Gotta love and respect Blg.

6:17 Bin:"My rumble will take less resources this game."
I think most of the time these are translated to be more elegant. What the players actually say is pretty casual lol.
Bin is such a gigachad
I'll be cheering for BLG to win it all now 🙏 let's get it

ashgvdjhasghd!!! hasdhaslkd!!!!!! ashdjkashd!!!!!~~~
NA/EU players: It's fine.
Xun's flash knockup prediction actually unreal
I think Vedius is right, maybe BLG are the best team.
I think all the best players don't talk much. 100% on their champion and their game. It would be interesting to see how the best players communicate.
carry usually dont talk and sup jgl shotcall so the carry can focus on their micro
Can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic but BLG are definitely considered among the best players
The Grifin team didnt talk.
