Bo being confident to say that "I want to do X" means that he know his limits and what impact can his decision bring to the game. Maybe try to watch LPL games and see how bloodthirsty a Chinese Jungler is and how their teammates follow up? Or maybe you can't understand it because you're on LEC level of thinking?

Something you see so often is that Bo 100% goes on someones call, the moment someone says go in Bo is straight on it, where as Targa/Cabo/Saken always hesitate or do the opposite, which so often ends up in it looking like Bo is inting. Key example is that G2 game, as soon as Upset says dive and steps up Bo flash ults to follow the call, meanwhile Cabo is doing who the fk knows what over the wall and Targ is already running away.
Bo went in before malphite was in range to follow up. Gotta assess the situation for yourself sometimes, you need to see that ulting the supp won't workout.
Unironically it just sounds like upset and bo are on the same page alot but any olay with targamas is just mesed up by targ not being on that same page.
It's sad to see Cabo not performing but Targamas is literally a mess and goes against Bo on every possible occasion. Honestly, Bo should just elope with upset to a better team, or let KC overhaul their top and sup.

Upset and Bo are the only ones actually communicating. Upset is asking very good questions and no one is answering.
It feels like Upset is basically being force to take up the shotcalling roll which he seem to not be very comfortable doing.
he's not even doing a bad job, but it's hard to shotcall as ADC as ADC is the most mechanical role and you really need to focus on your own mechanics and positioning. no wonder his performance hasn't looked great

I feel bad for targamas getting all the blame, while BO is a a big part of the issue. His mechanics are good but his decision making is just not good enough for LEC

@@jentele1 I don't feel bad for Targamas at all. If the only thing he says in a game is "Akali no flash" when Akali picked Teleport Ignite, then you've contributed nothing of use to the comms. To me it feels like he legit doesn't care, isn't taking the game serious, and just alt tabs to facebook or twitter mid teamfight.

Flakked Targamas was the opposite of dominate, their roles were to not int and let top,jg,mid carry. It’s how Danwan won worlds in 2020.
Flakked’s strength was always stability and never inting away the game I.e(Rekkles Sivir 2023, Carzzy Aphelios at worlds).
Targamas inting seems like having a bad week. The difference between the old format and the new, a bad week is only 2/18 - 1/9 games, a bad week now is 3/9. So you can’t afford to have a bad week.
And the G2 botlane was pretty good. It's crazy how much a good ADC can make up for a shit support.

I think this region legitimately made Bo worse. These top CN/KR players push their champions to their utmost limits. I'm betting his teammates just never believe and can't execute plays he sees properly repeatedly to the point where he can't reach those heights of gameplay anymore
I think it’s less the pro players around him and moreso the environment. All the regions play different from each other, and when you move you’ll generally get assimilated into it over time as you get further removed from your roots and set down new ones. Bo doesn’t play turbo LPL games cause he’s now 2 years into his LEC/EU run and 3 years out from his last LPL game.

That’s probably what happens to a lot of the limit testers who come from China and Korea. A lot dives that shouldn’t be failed fail in lec and lcs but look at the lpl and lck dives they’re always so clean. This comes from all the players believing in a play and being able to execute it but that doesn’t really work in lec and lcs there are so many botched dives and mechanical errors.

After watching the comms I'm completely sure that even with Cabo and Saken this team could work, but not with TargamASS. This guy needs to never play pro LoL again, how Upset has concentration to fight, farm, track the map and shotcall is beyond me. Considering that Trymbi is jobless this split, this is fucking criminal

Targamas should have been communicating his intent, but Bo and Saken are both calling that they want to make a play top. Targamas goes in solo way too early, but I think they all hold some responsibility here. Their comms/calls are just so dysfunctional, I’m not surprised by the 0-6

Brilliant callout by Targamas: teleport/ignite akali has no flash. Then Dom wonders why he doesn't say anything. It's legit more useful for him to just stay quiet rather than saying stupid shit like that.
I think this made me think slightly better of Cabo, he seems like he is trying to do what Upset/Bo are asking him to do for the most part, the bad is just what Dom said, his laning is bad.
Targamas on the other hand... bro what is wrong with this guy, he says nothing (in fact, it's actually worse than that, when he does speak he's saying things that he ultimately isn't doing! "I can tank!"). I get that he speaks French but I feel like they need to do something with support if they want a chance to win any games. They might be able to work around the weak solo lanes but not with bot getting sandbagged as well
And the narrative was that flakked was the problem on that G2 botlane 💀
I mean he was the worse player of the two at the time. When you have Jankos to cover for Taragamas' lack of communication and a strong top side to cover for his bad laning he won't be a liability.

Targamas should legit be investigated for matchfixing by this point. That bot dive looked bad live but now with the comms it just can't be a missplay. He was told to just tank 3 times, said he would do it and then attacked the turret instead of the champion, making Bo go in and die. Honestly I would have no problem with Bo and Upset just standing up to

honestly i don't think saken is too bad, he made some bad ult and 2-3 bad decisions but as a whole he played ok and was never the reason why fights went to shit.
after listening to coms BO is definetly not the problem, i thnk it is the best shot caller of the team, they are just not following him.
Cabochard is pretty good in lanning phase, but except the gragas game, he was abyssmal in team fights.
Upset is kind of in the same situation, good lanning phase but subpar team fights, not as bad as cabochard though.
@@ChouKroutG yeah the fact that him taking the kill isn't even mentioned most of the time kinda says it all doesn't it? I think Saken has some serious nerves because he didn't play this bad in ERLs. His comms are almost as bad as Targamas tho, he is mumbling stuff in French in the middle of a fight, saying he will hard commit to then walk in the opposite direction and stuff like that. It's propably fixable but I wouldn't count on it considering how long he has been playing. Cabo is alright in comms I think, his biggest flaw right now is not knowing how to play weakside and still be useful. I'm pretty sure that they won a lot in ERLs by just being better so that every lane was up 30 cs at 15 minutes and the game was over which propably won't work in LEC.

This Tarmagas might int on purpose abit, i remember him playing on Excel and he just let Patrik die 1v2 staying a mile from him, the bot lanes were lost at lv 1 becuause they just went in 2v1 while Taregamas just watched

I take back what I’ve said about Upset before. Its clear that he and Bo are the only people trying here, or at least trying to make plays. Targ is useless, and I don’t think Saken is LEC ready. It’s extra impressive how poorly this team gels, because LEC as a whole right now seems VERY weak.

I used to question a lot why Targamas got kicked out of G2, and even before the start of this split (I didnt watch ERL's) I couldnt understand, but man, the use of spells, not being able to do what the team asks him to do, refuse to be useful when the situation needs him to be is just too much, I hope Karmine talks with Trimby or Treatz to get Upset a good support cause my God this was painful to watch

Honestly Bo is making good calls, Keep Bo, get Trimby. Trimby will synergise well with Bo and follow his calls. Targamas is just slow in the head.

On a serious note targamas is doing his very best to have all his teammates lose faith in him which as the 'support' of the team, is not exactly ideal.
I don't think they looked terrible first week, but second week they were looking completly lost. I rather see this team trying to full send it trusting on Bo calls rather than doing nothing and lose.
On the mid dive, malphite is clearing a word then leaving to splitpush. Just vi ult into malphite ult the aphel! Malphite ulted away after his team died!
as long as upset is forced to shotcall because he doesn’t have supports like hyli making their own plays he won’t succeed. Doesn’t even have to be him. He needs a shot calling support in terms of making things happen. It’s been proven time and time again. Adc is a role players play their best when they can focus on mechanics. Any adc in history that is a shot caller is an exception. Doublelift for example doesn’t count because whenever he’s successful he’s never been the sole veteran player capable of closing out the game. Adcs can shotcall when they have the damage to carry, but until you reach that stage it’s a hindrance to expect your adc to shot call in order to get to that point.

it feels like Upset is the only one willing to be like "Hey, what's the plan, do we turn/trap/chase... ?" and the rest are waiting for someone else to make the call.
Bo is the only one making calls, but he doesnt do the follow up to that call. They dont try to have the team aligned on it, and what to do when they are contested on that call. You can tell all that when they go for barons and dragons.
14:57 this time, atleast Targamas says "doesnt matter, we have to do baron" telling him what to do, but the people defending are still afraid of making decisions or answering in case they are wrong or something?
16:20 the build up to this call was "we have to get baron to win", "LB is dead we have to make something happen, dive them on the spot" and as they run down mid 10 seconds before the dive "we have to dive them" and yet they were all doing something else with no comunication, no one pulled out of the call or decision. And Bo did what had to be done and force to try and win on Upset's call, it's better to follow a bad call as 5 than to have 2 people commit to a good call. They have to dive there or lose the moment LB is up.
20:30 compare that to Hily as maniacal as he is, you know exactly he is walking 1v5 and talks you into letting him int for pressure or something because he is "looking, You know what he is doing and wants to do.

Like if he just groups with his team at least he can block Naut Q and open up space for Upset or look for a dive or a chunk, what was the point of standing so far back in that play he did nothing
