LAFD Units Respond to Structure Fire

- Units from the Los Angeles Fire Department responding to a structure fire in 84's first-in on the 22100 block of W. Burbank Blvd.
Units featured include: Command 42, Battalion 10, Light Force 73 (Truck 73 & Engine 273), Light Force 88 (Truck 88 & Engine 288), Light Force 93 (Truck 93, in a reserve truck, & Engine 293), Engine 72, Engine 93, Engine 104, EMS 17, & Rescue 72.
LF105 and E84 were initially dispatched alone to a reported smoke. LF105 arrived on scene and reported a 2 story townhome w/ light smoke showing and requested a structure fire assignment.
Fire was located in the bathroom of 1 unit that ran up the wall and into the attic. Companies fought the fire in an offensive posture and knockdown was called in 53 minutes.
Units assigned: CM42, BC10, BC15, BC17, SO1, TF93, TF105, LF73, LF88, E72, E84, E104, PI2, EA1, EM17, RA72, RA106

thanks man!! USAR's do respond to fires as a part of the RIC team. LAFD doesn't go by numbered alarms, companies on scene will request "2 additional task forces", and the CAD will usually generate a ticket of 2 additional TF's, a command, an additional BC, a USAR TF for RIC, Heavy Rescue 3, a hazmat squad, an additional RA. thanks for watching!
